The Central Coasting radio show at www.orbital-radio.com weekly on a Friday morning 0700-0900 AEDT. Warming sounds broadcast from the Central Coast NSW. Loosely inspired by the beautiful place I live. Music for the beach, a boat, somewhere outdoors or just to lift your vibration. The music speaks for itself. A genre-defying mix of global rhythms aimed to soothe, move and intrigue. Ambient tones. Laidback Balearic influenced obscurities and rarities. Many shades of Hip-Hop. Classic and modern disco edits. Dubby pitched down dance floor sounds. Dream House and more. PROCTOLOGIST:- "A good breakfast always tastes better with smooth mellow grooves, so as people ease into the new year and the summer down under, the selection for this show has a nice steady pace and chilled vibe. With warm sleepy mornings by the coast in mind, the menu includes some hip hop influences old and new, dreamy electronica, Balearic beats as well as some classic funk and disco works which should ease people into their Friday with a toe tapping". I Don't Even Own a Television

It took a while, but the world finally made us go back to Lee Child, so here we are: Make Me. Yes, down these manicured streets a man must go who is not himself manicured, who is neither wearing cologne nor designer clothes. The detective in this kind of story must be such a man. He must be a complete man and a common man and yet an unusual man (pauses, sips coffee, explains joke). So it's another long walk with Jack Reacher, full of long descriptions of diners, short rants about leg room on airplanes, and a whole lot of bottomless cups of coffee. Oh, and bone-splintering acts of violence. Lots and lots of those. Mostly those, actually. Not a whole lot of anything else that I can remember, actually. But I'm certain that for a certain kind of reader, it's just a non-stop ride of thrills and chills. For us, it's an occasion for bellyaching. So all aboard the IDEOTV Train -- next stop, fun! CONTENT WARNING: This book's plot revolves around self-harm and suicide and people's plans to take their own lives, and includes some descriptions of torture. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline phone number is: 1-800-273-8255.   Recommendations: "The Glass Essay", by Anne Carson "What Was It Like to Be a Nintendo Game Play Counselor?", by Annie Zaleski Music: "Wild Mountain Nation" by Blitzen Trapper "Travellin' Man" by DJ Honda (feat. Beasts From the East/Touyou Kanon Podcast

This May installment of Beasts gets off to a slick start via a track from Hood Sound affiliate HOKT (with production from DJ Honda) and his 2012 album "Galaxy" You'll hear a rework of a Billie Holliday song in the jazz set that follows, which includes a tune from Emi Tawata. Next up is a slammin' hip-hop detour, which introduces you listeners to MeccaGodZilla, who also goes by Ryu Black. He grew up like many on the Street Fighter video game series, and the track that you'll hear is a banger in tribute to the legacy of the series (particularly the 2nd game). He's the head of Manafest Vision Media, and you'll hear more about him and his team in this episode. DJ Deckstream and Shiro Matsuba (alongside some other artists) provide some higher aural ground immediately after, via sweeping, almost ghostly choruses and tight digitized arrangements. Takeshi Sakasegawa lends us some gorgeous strings, alongside Love Psychadelico and The Circlets. All this leads to a grand finale of rock n' roll proportions with Davina Robinson on leadoff, with bands ELEKIBASS and Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re providing added coverage. The closer for this episode is our good associate ZAZU TIMES TWO, who's contributed graphics excellence for the Touyou Kanon artwork since his introduction last year. This and more (including shot outs to a gifted culinary mind in Mr. Jack Scalfani, host of the webshow "Cooking With Jack" -- videos of his show are now available at www.CookingWithJack.com) make this edition of Beasts a special and spicy one. Enjoy! Also, Vividly Visions (our parent company) has been the hub for the TAINTED ANGELS.
