Send us a text The lineup of the project known as Colorado Junction has changed lineups a couple of times over the years, with musicians leaving to focus on their personal lives or pursue other career opportunities. In 2025, the band will be performing more frequently in a new lineup, which longtime member Troy Yanel refers to as “Colorado Junction 3.0.” That lineup consists of Yanel on guitar, Chris Spurlock on mandolin, David Weisbart on bass, Bobby Krech on fiddle, and all four providing vocals. All four of these musicians love playing together, and in fact, they've been playing together for years before “Colorado Junction 3.0.” Much like Yanel answered a Craigslist ad in Nashville, Spurlock answered a Craigslist ad that resulted in him meeting Yanel and Krech for the first time. They played in a group called Mighty Pleasin, with a fourth member, Quinn McKay, on bass, and Krech ended up bringing Spurlock into another group of his, Strung High String Band. Spurlock and Krech still play in that group today, and in fact, the two are now not only close friends and musical partners but also direct neighbors, living in houses right next to each other. After the COVID-19 quarantine period, Weisbart answered another Craiglist ad from Yanel, so now, the four will revitalize Colorado Junction in this current lineup. Ultimately, the group hopes that audiences will continue supporting live, local music, that their shows will encourage them to do so, and that they're able to spread joy to the people who come to see their performances. In this special episode of The BETWEEN Podcast, host Matt Mattson gets baptized in a coffee shop. Baptism is an incredibly important and meaningful ritual. But the host of this podcast (and the creator of BETWEEN), Matt Mattson, simply had never experienced baptism (he explains why in the intro). What better way to explore the sacredness of simple moments of human connection than to put a holy sacramental ritual right into the middle of a very sincere and meaningful conversation between friends. Rev. Justin Spurlock, the Senior Pastor at Grace Presbyterian Church (and a former guest on The BETWEEN Podcast - check out this episode from season 1) graciously joined Matt to conduct this beautiful ritual right in the middle of a coffee shop conversation. Enjoy the video or just listen in to the conversation. You're invited right into the middle of this beautiful faith moment.

We are going to broadcast live updates also investigating a Theatrical Coal Miner Theater! Been traveling around intervening people and sighting! Tune in tonight! Harlan was first settled by Samuel and Chloe Howard in 1796. Upon the founding of Harlan County (named for Kentucky pioneer Silas Harlan) in 1819, the Howards donated 12 acres (49,000 m2) of land to serve as the county seat.[5] The community there was already known as "Mount Pleasant", apparently owing to a nearby Indian mound. A post office was established on September 19, 1828, but called "Harlan Court House" due to another Mt. Pleasant preempting that name.[6] During the Civil War, Confederate raiders under Gen. Humphrey Marshall occupied the town; the local postmaster renamed the community "Spurlock" after himself;[6] and, in October 1863, the courthouse was burnt down in reprisal for the Union destruction of the courthouse in Lee County, Virginia.[5 #bigfoot #ghost #scared #haunted --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/grizzly-onthehunt/support

Casper Police Department responded to a call for service regarding a disturbance. Officers spoke with the victim on scene, who made allegations that she was the victim of domestic violence. Officers attempted to make contact with the suspect, 26-year-old Trae Spurlock. The victim needed to re-enter the residence and officers accompanied her. A taser was deployed but it failed; an officer fired seven rounds from his sidearm and struck Spurlock six times. He was later pronounced dead. In this conclusion of the Bluegrass Beat case study: Seeking Savannah, Richmond Police Sgt. Kelli Fraze discusses her agency's experience as the high-profile missing person's case turned toward seeking justice for a murdered young Kentucky mother—Savannah Spurlock.Fraze, who was one of the case's lead investigators, speaks about steps taken, lessons learned, gaining information from technology and more. Richmond Police Chief Rodney Richardson also talks about the hard work and dedication from his department that led to the case's resolution, and Savannah's aunt, Lisa Thoma, talks about the family's interaction with RPD and what Savannah was like while she was living.…Special Notes from Richmond Sgt. Kelli Fraze on investigations and the Spurlock case.“(Investigations) can be, and will be, a long exhausting process. Every single piece of physical evidence you collect, every detail of the information you have gathered or processed over time is significant, and it's ok if things need to be done a second time. Leave no room for human error. It's all worth it, and it's all necessary. You must challenge your opponent, continue learning and keep trying. Find the people that's going to make this possible. It is your duty to exhaust all possibilities and find the truth in the stories being told, to speak for the innocent and to seek justice.”I want to note that Sgt. Casey Scott did a phenomenal job with developing this case against David Sparks. We all did what we thought was best or most helpful. But what matters most in the end is pen to paper. Being capable of taking on all the demands of putting it all together and developing proof beyond a reasonable doubt, especially in this type of case, is exceptional.”Sgt. Fraze also cited the importance that a trusted family/victim's advocate through the FBI played in developing a relationship with Savannah's family. The advocate served as Fraze's negotiator when stressful situations arrived and helped her connect the family to many beneficial resources. Additionally, the RPD sergeant noted that sites, such as Leads Online, provided amazing resources that helped teach her how to write warrants for technology companies and connect her with the company's tech portals to obtain information.
