We are live at 8pm CST talking all things pro wrestling.  1-347-857-1060 is the number to listen via mobile.  We may take calls based on the topics as well if time presents itself. We are talking the 5 major shows over the last week in pro wrestling.  From December 29th of last year, STARDOM Dream Queendom 2022 took place and the main event between Syuri and Giulia made top 10 lists change as they put on a classic for the World of STARDOM Title.  The show top to bottom was fantastic as well, so it's a great way to start the evening.  We run through DDT's Never Mind 2022 as well from later that morning with a awesome main event between Kazusada Higuchi and Yuki Ueno for the KO-D Openweight Title.  Two days later Pro Wrestling NOAH gave us their NOAH The New Year event with a amazing GHC Heavyweight Title match between Kaito Kiyomiya taking on Kenoh, and the big Great Muta vs Shinsuke Nakamura main event.  From there, New Japan officially feels back, as we review Wrestle Kingdom 17 and New Year Dash from the last two nights, discussing everything from the fun new units and angles to kick the year off, along with the all time classic we saw between Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay. The guys also talk about some of the biggest stories of 2022 and talk if this was the biggest news worthy year in the buisness. Don't forget to head over right now until noon central time on the 9th to prowrestlingtees.com/wrestlecast and get 20% off all of our great shirts!  Also, use code WRESTLECAST over at reppsports.com and get your supliments to get swole up like Alex has.  Finally, catch Ryan on Friday nights at 10pm CST on twitch.tv/wrestlecastradio for Pro Wrestling Summit!

If you want to bring our updates to your website...email us: desk@justprowrestlingnews.com. We'll get into the big events coming up this weekend in a moment, but first... (STINGER: WWE) WWE has lost a top star to a major injury. Bayley will be out of action for approximately 9 months after hurting her knee. WWE said it happened during a training session on Friday. Bayley was set to challenge Bianca Belair for the Smackdown Women's Championship in an “I Quit” Match at Money In The Bank. Obviously, that will NOT be happening now. Instead, Belair's title defense will be moved up to next Friday's SmackDown - the first in front of LIVE fans since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her challenger will be Carmella. Now...Carmella was set to be in the women's Money In The Bank ladder match. But she's now out of that match and will be replaced by Liv Morgan. The final two entrants in the men's Money In The Bank match were decided on last night's SmackDown. Seth Rollins qualified by pinning a bloodied Cesaro...and Shinsuke Nakamura is also in after he scored another win over Baron Corbin. At least three women from NXT are joining the SmackDown roster. Shotzi Blackheat & Tegan Nox debuted last night - announced simply as “Shotzi & Nox”. They were the surprise opponents for the WWE Women's Tag Champs Natalya & Tamina...and they got the win. Shotzi pinned Natalya after a senton from the top rope. The third call-up is Toni Storm. A hype video last night announced that she's “coming soon”. Jimmy Uso did appear on last night's SmackDown. He and brother Jey took a beating from Edge and the returning Rey and Dominik Mysterio at the end of the show. Jimmy Uso was arrested and charged with D.U.I. earlier this week. A formal arraignment is scheduled for later this month. We now know that WWE's Extreme Rules pay per view will be held on Sunday, September 26th...at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Major League Wrestling is back in front of live fans Saturday night at the 2300 Arena in bucolic and pastoral South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It's Battle Riot III. The Battle Riot match is a 40-man battle royal with wrestlers entering in 60-second intervals. Eliminations are by pinfall, submission or going out over the top rope to the floor. The winner gets a shot at the MLW Heavyweight Championship held by Jacob Fatu. Davey Richards is gonna make his MLW debut. He'll compete in the Riot match...and he'll also go one-on-one against TJP. Richard Holliday will defend the Carribean Championship against King Muertes. Cesar Duran - the former Dario Cueto - will be in attendance in Philly. Plus, a Bunkhouse Brawl between the Von Erichs and Team Filthy's Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku. The show will be broadcast on BeIN SPORTS starting at 10PM Eastern. (STINGER: ROH) On Sunday, Ring Of Honor presents its Best In The World pay per view. Rush defends the ROH World Championship against Bandido. Jonathan Gresham puts the Pure Title on the line against Mike Bennett. Dragon Lee challenges Tony Deppens for the TV Title. HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams & Rhett Titus defend the ROH Tag Titles in a Fight Without Honor against Chris Dickinson & Homicide. Shane Taylor Promotions defend the 6-Man Tag Titles against the makeshift team of Dalton Castle, Dak Draper & Eli Isom. Plus, Brody King vs. Jay Lethal...EC3 vs. Flip Gordon...The Briscoes vs. Brian Johnson & PJ Black...and Josh Woods vs. Silas Young in a Last Man Standing Match. There will also be TWO matches on Hour One of Best In The World, which will be free to watch on multiple platforms: DEMONIC Flamita vs. Rey Horus...and PCO & Danhausen vs. The Bouncers. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan confirmed Friday that its Wrestle Grand Slam show in Tokyo Dome will go on as scheduled on Sunday, July 25th...despite a new COVID-19 related state of emergency in Tokyo. The declaration will mean that New Japan will cease ticket sales for the show on July 11th. New Japan's Summer Struggle tour begins Saturday...with the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title being defended in the main event. Sunday's show has the tag titles being defended. Tetsuya Naito & SANADA will challenge Taichi & Zach Sabre Jr. Plus, KENTA returns to action. He'll tag with Yujiro Takehashi against Hiroshi Tanahashi & Yota Tsuji. Impact's X-Division Champion Josh Alexander was on last night's New Japan Strong. He pinned Rocky Romero in the main event. Backstage, Alexander declared he's not leaving New Japan anytime soon. Pro-Wrestling NOAH has a big show on Sunday...with Naomichi Marufuji defending the GHC Heavyweight Title in the main event against Takashi Sugiura. (STINGER: WWE) After weeks of hype and vignettes...Eva Marie is set to return on tonight's Raw. Also being promoted for tonight's show: Drew McIntyre vs. AJ Styles...and Randy Orton & Riddle vs. Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston. WWE officially announced over the weekend that Roman Reigns will defend the Universal Championship against Rey Mysterio INSIDE Hell In A Cell. NXT TakeOver: In Your House went down last night... Karrion Kross turned away four challengers in the main event to retain the NXT Championship. He choked out Kyle O'Reilly for the win...swooping in as O'Reilly appeared to be close to tapping out Adam Cole. Also last night, Raquel Gonzalez pinned Ember Moon to hold onto the NXT Women's Championship. North American Champ Bronson Reed & the NXT Tag Champs MSK beat Legado Del Fantasma to retain their titles. The only new champion crowned last night was LA Knight. He's now only the fifth man in history to hold the Million Dollar Championship after he beat Cameron Grimes in a Ladder Match. Also, Xia Li pinned Mercedes Martinez. Martinez went looking for revenge right after the match. She went after Li with a steel chair, but the leader of Tian Sha proved tougher. She put a choke hold on Martinez and tossed her from the stage down to the floor. The show ended with GM William Regal in the parking lot...saying he thinks it's time for a change, and then walking away. NXT is promoting a follow-up on Regal's comments for Tuesday's show. Plus, a Tornado Tag Team Match between the Grizzled Young Veterans and Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher...and Kushida in a Cruiserweight Championship open challenge. NXT will hold its Great American Bash special in its normal time slot on the USA Network...coming up on July 6th. (STINGER: AEW) We have at least eleven matches announced for tonight's Dark: Elevation, including Scorpio Sky vs. Alex Reynolds...and Angelico vs. Mike Sydal. Plus, Penta El Zero Miedo & Eddie Kingston in tag team action...as well as singles matches for Orange Cassidy and Wardlow. (STINGER: Impact) Kenny Omega is still the Impact World Champion. He pinned Moose with the One Winged Angel in the main event of Saturday's Against All Odds show. The show was held at Daily's Place...to prevent interference by the Good Brothers and Sami Callihan. But that didn't account for the Young Bucks. They ran out after referee Brian Hebner was knocked down. The Bucks hit some superkicks and a BTE Trigger on Moose...and Kenny took it from there. Callihan actually showed up in Daily's Place...right after the match...and went after Omega. Omega was able to escape. Then, Don Callis FIRED Callihan. Impact went the extra mile over the weekend - pulling Callihan's profile from its website, unfollowing him on Twitter. Callihan tweeted “I'll see you on Thursday”. Getting back to Against All Odds...Deonna Purrazzo pinned Rosemary to retain the Knockouts Title. Joe Doering PINNED Satoshi Kojima with a powerbomb. Violent By Design also held onto the Impact Tag Titles...as Rhino & Deaner beat Crazzy Steve & Black Taurus. W. Morrissey used a series of powerbombs to pin Rich Swann. A 5-Way X-Division #1 Contender Match ended in a “no contest” after Madman Fulton took out everyone other than his pal Ace Austin. Fire n' Flava beat Kimber Lee & Susan to retain the Knockouts Tag Titles. Finally...Tenille Dashwood used a rollup to pin Jordynne Grace. Grace had gotten preoccupied with yelling at Rachael Ellering, who cut off Kaleb (With A K)'s attempted interference. After the match, Grace yelled at Ellering some more...and hit Kaleb with a Michinoku Driver. (STINGER: ROH) Ring Of Honor has added EC3 vs. Flip Gordon to its Best In The World pay per view, which is coming up on July 11th. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan's Kizuna Road tour getting underway Monday. It's also the start of a gauntlet of five singles matches for Young Lions Yuya Uemura and Yota Tsuji. Uemura faces Minoru Suzuki on Monday...and then, Zack Sabre Jr. on Tuesday's show. Tsuji goes up against Hiroshi Tanahashi on Monday...and then faces Taichi on Tuesday. In Pro-Wrestling NOAH...Naomichi Marufuji will defend the GHC Heavyweight Title against Takashi Sugiura on July 11th. Saya Kamitani is the winner of Stardom's Cinderella tournament. She's now looking to challenge Tam Nakano for the Wonder of Stardom Championship. Also on that show over the weekend, World of Stardom Champion Utami Hayashishita wrestled title challenger Syuri to a 30-minute time limit draw. The match was then restarted...only to reach another inconclusive ending - a double countout. Finally, Matt Cardona will challenge Nick Gage for the GCW Championship at GCW's Homecoming show on July 24th. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Monday, June 14. There was a ton going on there, far too much to put here, but it's on the road to WrestleMania, which is full of all kinds of wackiness. We also talk about a major weekend in Japan where Shinya Hashimoto won the Triple Crown and Kenta Kobashi won the GHC Heavyweight Title in VERY different matches in terms of "workrate." We also talk about the rest of Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, U.S. Indies, and of course NWA Total Nonstop Action, which is typically ridiculous. This is a LOADED show, so listen now!Timestamps:0:00:00 WWE2:52:11 Classic Commercial Break2:56:33 Halftime3:18:11 Eurasia: AJPW, NJPW, NOAH, World Japan, Zero-One, BJPW, DDT, Kageki, K-Dojo, Michinoku Pro, Osaka Pro, Toryumon, WMF, AJW, Arsion, JWP, Neo, K-1, & All-Star4:44:32 Latin America: AAA, CMLL, IWRG, Monterrey, Tijuana, IWAPR, & WWC5:03:59 Other USA: TCW, Cody Runnels, NWA Wildside, IPW Hardcore, IWAMS, All Access, XPW, & WrestleXpress5:24:16 NWA-TNA5:55:07 Patreon Preview: APW King of the Indies 2001 unintentionally becomes the proof of concept for ROHTo support the show and get access to exclusive rewards like special members-only monthly themed shows, go to our Patreon page at Patreon.com/BetweenTheSheets and become an ongoing Patron.
