Bruiser made his initial impact in Ring of Honor in the 2015 Top Prospect Tournament and later formed a tag team with fellow Wisconsin native Silas Young. The rugged duo won Tag Wars 2016. In 2018, Bruiser formed The Bouncers, the biggest tag team in ROH history, with Brawler Milonas. The two heavyweights share a love of pounding beers and their opponents.

The winner gets a shot at the RAW Tag Titles held by Randy Orton & Riddle. Bayley offered a brief update on her recovery from major knee surgery. During a charity live stream on Instagram, she said her “knee is doing great” and she'll be “coming back soon”. (STINGER: AEW) Chris Jericho says he's been ordered by doctors not to sing…due to unspecified medical issues that landed him in a hospital in the United Kingdom last week. His band Fozzy had to cancel tour dates in the UK. But they did hold a Fan Fest in London on Sunday with Jericho in attendance. Tonight's AEW Dark: Elevation has Tony Nese vs. Dark Order's Alex Reynolds. Plus, Santana & Ortiz vs. Mike Verna & Anthony Gangone, who will have Prince Nana in their corner. (STINGER: ROH) Jonathan Gresham is the NEW - and perhaps the last - Ring Of Honor World Champion. He beat Jay Lethal in the main event of Saturday night's Final Battle pay-per-view. Gresham was presented the original ROH World Title belt. The Briscoes beat The OGK to win the ROH Tag Titles. After the match, FTR made a surprise appearance and got into a big brawl with The Briscoes. That was not the only surprise Saturday night. After Brody King, Tony Deppen, Homicide & Rocky Romero beat HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams, Taylor Rust, Eli Isom & EC3, EC3 took the mic, went on a brief rant and then introduced Adam Scherr - the former Braun Strowman. Scherr stormed into the arena…alongside Westin Blake and Fodder. They laid waste to Isom, Dak Draper and Brian Johnson. It ended with Scherr carrying an unconscious Isom out of the arena. Rok-C beat Willow to retain the ROH Women's Championship. After the match, Impact Wrestling's Deonna Purrazzo entered to confront Rok-C. Purrazzo pitched a Winner Takes All match between her and Rok-C, in which Purrazzo would put her AAA Reina De Reinas Championship on the line…AND the Knockouts Championship she expects to win from Mickie James at Impact's Hard To Kill pay-per-view next month. After the match, FTR made a surprise appearance and got into a big brawl with The Briscoes. That was not the only surprise Saturday night. After Brody King, Tony Deppen, Homicide & Rocky Romero beat HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams, Taylor Rust, Eli Isom & EC3, EC3 took the mic, went on a brief rant and then introduced Adam Scherr - the former Braun Strowman. With a newborn just a few months away, does Johnny take time off to be with his wife Candice LeRae? Rush went after Bandido's mask...but after jawing with the ref, Bandido rolled him up for the pin. Rush and the rest of La Faccion Ingobernable beat up on Bandido after the match. The other major surprise at Best In The World. The arrival of Chelsea Green. She's in ROH...and in the upcoming women's championship tournament. The tournament begins on ROH TV the weekend of July 31st. The finals will be part of Death Before Dishonor. LFI's Dragon Lee is once again the TV Champ. He dethroned Tony Deppen. Jonathan Gresham narrowly escaped Best In The World with the Pure Title. Mike Bennett had a pinfall on Gresham, but Gresham's foot was under the bottom rope. Shortly after that, he submitted Bennett with an ankle lock. Brodie King pinned Jay Lethal after a pair of Ganzo Bombs. Ringside doctors attended to Lethal in the ring after the match. So, Lethal was hurt. HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams is still injured. So, it was up to Gresham to tag with Rhett Titus and defend The Foundation's ROH Tag Titles against Chris Dickinson & Homicide in a Fight Without Honor. Homicide pinned Gresham with a vertabreaker...and he and Dickinson are the new tag team champs. Instead, Belair's title defense will be moved up to next Friday's SmackDown - the first in front of LIVE fans since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her challenger will be Carmella. Now...Carmella was set to be in the women's Money In The Bank ladder match. But she's now out of that match and will be replaced by Liv Morgan. Shotzi Blackheat & Tegan Nox debuted last night - announced simply as “Shotzi & Nox”. They were the surprise opponents for the WWE Women's Tag Champs Natalya & Tamina...and they got the win. Shotzi pinned Natalya after a senton from the top rope. The third call-up is Toni Storm. A hype video last night announced that she's “coming soon”. Jimmy Uso did appear on last night's SmackDown. He and brother Jey took a beating from Edge and the returning Rey and Dominik Mysterio at the end of the show. Jimmy Uso was arrested and charged with D.U.I. earlier this week. A formal arraignment is scheduled for later this month. We now know that WWE's Extreme Rules pay per view will be held on Sunday, September 26th...at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Major League Wrestling is back in front of live fans Saturday night at the 2300 Arena in bucolic and pastoral South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It's Battle Riot III. The Battle Riot match is a 40-man battle royal with wrestlers entering in 60-second intervals. Eliminations are by pinfall, submission or going out over the top rope to the floor. The winner gets a shot at the MLW Heavyweight Championship held by Jacob Fatu. Davey Richards is gonna make his MLW debut. He'll compete in the Riot match...and he'll also go one-on-one against TJP. Richard Holliday will defend the Carribean Championship against King Muertes. Cesar Duran - the former Dario Cueto - will be in attendance in Philly. Plus, a Bunkhouse Brawl between the Von Erichs and Team Filthy's Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku. The show will be broadcast on BeIN SPORTS starting at 10PM Eastern. In an Instagram post Tuesday...Rush said he separated his AC joint during the Casino Battle Royale at AEW's Double Of Nothing pay per view. Rush said the injury gave him time to think...and come to this decision. He said he will make his contractually obligated appearances for New Japan after he's healed...and then, he'll be done with wrestling. (STINGER: WWE) Sunday's NXT TakeOver: In Your House will see the NXT Tag Titles and the North American Title defended...in the same match. MSK & Bronson Reed will face all three members of Legado Del Fantasma in a 6-Man Tag. The winning team gets ALL the gold. The TakeOver match between Cameron Grimes and LA Knight will now be a Ladder Match for the Million Dollar Championship. Io Shirai returned to NXT last night...introduced by Poppy. Also last night, Ember Moon beat Dakota Kai via disqualification...after NXT Women's Champ Raquel Gonzalez got involved. Oney Lorcan pinned Austin Theory. Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne brawled at ringside during this match. That distracted Theory and opened the door for Lorcan to hit a uranage for the win. Isaiah SWERVE Scott pinned Killian Dane. The rest of Hit Row beat up Drake Maverick. (STINGER: ROH) We have a new match added to Ring Of Honor's Best In The World pay per view. It'll be Silas Young vs. Josh Woods in a Last Man Standing Match. Tony Deppen will defend the ROH TV Title in 3-Way against former champions Dragon Lee and HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams. That match will be shown on ROH's weekend TV in two weeks. The latest wrestler to advance in the Survival Of The Fittest tournament is… The end saw Sledge knock Johnson for a loop with a forearm...but Johnson collapsed right onto Sledge's knee - and injured him. Johnson rolled up Sledge and got the pin. After the match, PJ Black showed up to congratulate Johnson...but Johnson didn't seem too happy to see him. Ian Riccaboni tweeted that ROH will return to Philadelphia for a show “with fans”...and “information will be communicated shortly”. The NWA will run pay per views on back-to-back days in St. Louis...coming up in August. The first will be an all-women pay per view, with Mickie James serving as executive producer. The pay per view on August 29th will be the NWA's 73rd Anniversary show. Also announced on last night's Powerrr...there will be a tournament to determine the next holder of the NWA National Title. (STINGER: AEW) On last night's Dark… Aaron Solow pinned Sonny Kiss...after Kiss was distracted by QT Marshall standing at ringside. The Factory beat up on Kiss after the match. Joey Janela was nowhere to be seen during all this. Former NWA TV Champion Zicky Dice made his AEW debut on last night's Dark. He was dispatched in a matter of minutes by Lance Archer. Also, QT Marshall beat Bear Bronson...and Matt Sydal beat Dante Martin in the main event. No Dynamite tonight. It's pushed back to Friday night again this week. (STINGER: New Japan) The dates for some upcoming title matches in New Japan are now set. Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI will defend the NEVER 6-Man Tag Titles against EVIL, Yujiro Takehashi & Dick Togo on the Kizuna Road show on June 22nd. (STINGER: WWE) The Universal Title match at WrestleMania is now a Triple Threat Match - Roman Reigns defending against Edge AND Daniel Bryan. Adam Pearce announced the decision at the end of last night's SmackDown. New matches added to Mania during last night's SmackDown… Seth Rollins and Cesaro will meet on Night 1. Rollins beat Shinsuke Nakamura on last night's SmackDown. Added to Night 2: Big E defending the Intercontinental Title - once again - against Apollo Crews. Crews did pin Big E to win a 6-man tag last night. Also announced for Night 2 - Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn. Zayn promised last night that YouTuber Logan Paul will appear on next Friday's SmackDown for a red carpet premiere of the trailer for Zayn's documentary. Also last night...Rey Mysterio pinned one-half of the Smackdown tag champs, Dolph Ziggler. Bianca Belair pinned Natalya with the KOD. Sasha Banks was outside the ring during the match, taunting Belair. At one point, Belair went outside the ring and slapped Banks. After the match, Banks attacked Belair from behind. (STINGER: ROH) Rush is STILL the Ring Of Honor World Champion - but aside from that, it was NOT a very good Friday night for La Faccione Ingobernable. After Rush was victorious over Jay Lethal in the main event of ROH's 19th Anniversary pay per view...he was confronted by a former challenger - Brody King. Only King did not come alone, and introduced his own group to combat LFI - Tony Deppen, Chris Dickinson and former ROH World Champ Homicide. LFI's Dragon Lee had an especially tough night - and he wasn't even at the show. Lee missed the show due to surgery for a ruptured eardrum. So, Kenny King defended Lee's TV Title in his place - but LOST to HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams. The end of the match saw Amy Rose throw the TV title belt into the ring. King and Williams stared at it for sec...but when King went for it, Williams caught him with a piledriver for the win. Later, Bestia Del Ring subbed in for Lee, as he and King defended the ROH tag titles - and LOST to Williams and Rhett Titus. Again, Amy Rose was blamed for the loss...and after the tag match, Bestia Del Ring hit her with a SPEAR! Jonathan Gresham is still the Pure Champion. He submitted Dak Draper with a sleeper that he applied by diving through the ropes and onto Draper. Dak was able to carry Gresham's weight back into the ring but he was out of “rope breaks” and there was no escape after that. Shane Taylor Promotions successfully defended their 6-man tag titles against the MexiSquad. After the match, Flamita, Bandido and Rey Horus got into an argument. That led to a 3-way match between them on the main show. Bandido pinned Flamita with the 21-plex to win it. Silas Young turned on Josh Woods! He hit Woods with a steel chair and Dalton Castle rolled up Woods for the win. Matt Taven and Vincent brawled through the P.A.L. Hall in Fall River, Massachusetts. The fight ended when a large man pushed both men off a balcony...and through a pair of tables set up below. That large man carried Vincent out of the building. On Twitter, he identified himself as “Dutch”.. EC3 got the handshake he was looking for from Jay Briscoe - but moments later he got a Jay Driller and took the loss. Danhausen won the 4-way during the free first hour of the show. During the show, it was announced that Ring Of Honor will hold a tournament over the summer to crown a new women's champion. Angelina Love will get a bye in that tournament if she can beat...backstage interviewer Quinn McKay. Rocky Romero was on commentary for the entire main show. At one point, Delirious came out and whispered something into Rocky's ear. (STINGER: New Japan) On last night's New Japan Strong… Clark Connors upset TJP in a qualifying match for the U.S. version of the New Japan Cup tournament. Connors was caught in a heel hook, but managed to roll up TJP for the pin. The other qualifying match last night saw Chris Dickinson beat Blake Christian. David Finlay & Karl Fredericks beat FILTHY Tom Lawlor & Danny Limelight in last night's main event. Finlay pinned Limelight. Back in Japan, the Road To Sakura Genesis tour kicks off on Sunday. Results from Monday night's Raw and Ring Of Honor's weekend TV are straight ahead in this update but first… (STINGER: WWE) We're learning more about the WWE Network's jump to Peacock in the United States. In a news release Monday, we learned there will NOT be an automatic migration for existing network subscribers. They'll need to sign up for Peacock Premium on their own. Peacock is running a special offer for the next month - FOUR months of Peacock Premium access for $9.99. If you have Comcast or Cox cable, you may already get Peacock Premium for free. WWE's Peacock Era begins March 18th. There will be an “overlap” period. On Monday, we learned that'll last a little over two weeks - ending on April 4th. That's when the existing WWE Network app will cease operation. We also got more details about the Network content on Peacock. Not everything currently on the Network will be available when it launches on Peacock. WWE said Peacock is promising to have the entire network archive “available to stream on demand before SummerSlam”. At launch, the WWE Network on Peacock is promising every pay per view over the last calendar year... NXT episodes the day after they air... Raw and SmackDown episodes 30 days after they air… Plus, WWE original programming and documentaries. Live fans WILL be in attendance at WrestleMania. WWE announced tickets go on sale next Tuesday. There will also be an exclusive presale opportunity for fans who register. Last night's Raw opened with the new WWE Champion Bobby Lashley defending against The Miz. Miz lasted a little longer than he did last Monday, but eventually submitted to the Hurt Lock. Drew McIntyre is being called the “presumptive” next challenger to Lashley. Drew brawled backstage with Sheamus. They later met in a No DQ Match...that ended when both men ran into one another while carrying steel ring steps. The referee determined that Sheamus could not continue and called off the match. Randy Orton and AJ Styles went at it in the main event. The end came when Alexa Bliss appeared on the ‘tron. Fire shot from the ring posts...Randy started to cough up BLACK GOO again...caught a Phenomenal Forearm from AJ and got pinned. Braun Strowman got an apology from Shane McMahon. Later, Shane not-so-subtly implied that Braun is stupid. That led to Braun chasing Shane backstage, where Shane was able to lose him. Reginald resurfaced on Raw, in the corner of the women's tag champs Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Reginald was fired by Carmella in Friday's SmackDown. Jax and Baszler successfully defended their tag titles against Naomi and Lana. Jax pinned Lana. The New Day will challenge The Hurt Business for the Raw Tag Titles on next Monday's Raw. Xavier Woods beat Shelton Benjamin in a one-on-one match last night. Another title match made for next Monday: Riddle defends the U.S. Title against Mustafa Ali. Wednesday's NXT is now promoting TWO major announcements from GM William Regal. (STINGER: ROH) Jay Lethal will challenge Rush for the Ring Of Honor World Championship at the ROH 19th Anniversary pay per view on Friday, March 26th. Lethal earned the shot by pinning Matt Taven in a 4-way on ROH's weekend TV. A distraction by Vita VonStarr left Taven open for Lethal Injection. Jay Briscoe and EC3 were also in the match, but they brawled all the way backstage. Also on that show - Dalton Castle essentially saved his ROH career. He used a rollup to beat Josh Woods in a Pure Rules Match. After the match, Woods was confronted by his old tag partner Silas Young. But it's not clear if they'll reunite. (STINGER: New Japan) The New Japan Cup rolls on this morning with a pair of first round matches. Wednesday's show will have THREE first round matches - Jay White vs. Toa Henare...Yujiro Takahashi vs. YOSHI-HASHI...and David Finlay vs. Chase Owens. A couple title changes in other Japanese promotions over the weekend… There are new GHC Tag Team Champions. Katsuhiko Nakajima & Masa Kitamiya dethroned Takashi Sugiura & Kazushi Sakuraba at Pro-Wrestling NOAH's show on Sunday. The Open The Twin Gate Unified Tag Title changed hands in Dragon Gate's show on Sunday. Masaaki Mochizuki & Takashi Yoshida are the new champs after beating BxB Hulk & KAI.
