Listen and subscribe at www.JustProWrestlingNews.com I'm Matt Carlins and this is JUST Pro Wrestling News for Monday, December 13, 2021. This update is brought to you by IndyWrestling.us. (STINGER: WWE) Tonight's RAW is promoting the finals in the RK-Bronament. It's the Street Profits vs. Rey & Dominik Mysterio. The winner gets a shot at the RAW Tag Titles held by Randy Orton & Riddle. Bayley offered a brief update on her recovery from major knee surgery. During a charity live stream on Instagram, she said her “knee is doing great” and she'll be “coming back soon”. (STINGER: AEW) Chris Jericho says he's been ordered by doctors not to sing…due to unspecified medical issues that landed him in a hospital in the United Kingdom last week. His band Fozzy had to cancel tour dates in the UK. But they did hold a Fan Fest in London on Sunday with Jericho in attendance. Tonight's AEW Dark: Elevation has Tony Nese vs. Dark Order's Alex Reynolds. Plus, Santana & Ortiz vs. Mike Verna & Anthony Gangone, who will have Prince Nana in their corner. (STINGER: ROH) Jonathan Gresham is the NEW - and perhaps the last - Ring Of Honor World Champion. He beat Jay Lethal in the main event of Saturday night's Final Battle pay-per-view. Gresham was presented the original ROH World Title belt. The Briscoes beat The OGK to win the ROH Tag Titles. After the match, FTR made a surprise appearance and got into a big brawl with The Briscoes. That was not the only surprise Saturday night. After Brody King, Tony Deppen, Homicide & Rocky Romero beat HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams, Taylor Rust, Eli Isom & EC3, EC3 took the mic, went on a brief rant and then introduced Adam Scherr - the former Braun Strowman. Scherr stormed into the arena…alongside Westin Blake and Fodder. They laid waste to Isom, Dak Draper and Brian Johnson. It ended with Scherr carrying an unconscious Isom out of the arena. Rok-C beat Willow to retain the ROH Women's Championship. After the match, Impact Wrestling's Deonna Purrazzo entered to confront Rok-C. Purrazzo pitched a Winner Takes All match between her and Rok-C, in which Purrazzo would put her AAA Reina De Reinas Championship on the line…AND the Knockouts Championship she expects to win from Mickie James at Impact's Hard To Kill pay-per-view next month. Rhett Titus won the ROH Television Title, dethroning Dalton Castle. Titus pinned Silas Young to win a 4-Way that also included Joe Hendry. Josh Woods beat Brian Johnson to retain the Pure Title. Shane Taylor beat Kenny King in a Fight Without Honor. The show opened with Dragon Lee beating Rey Horus. The pay-per-view ended with a video promising that a new era will begin in April of next year. On the Hour One pre-show… The Righteous won the ROH 6-Man Tag Titles from the Soldiers Of Savagery & O'Shay Edwards. Plus, The Allure & Miranda Alize beat Chelsea Green & The Hex. Mandy Leon pinned Marti Belle. Also, The Bouncers, World Famous CB, Flip Gordon & PJ Black beat LSG, Demonic Flamita, Will Ferrara, Sledge & Max the Impaler. LSG took the pin. Ring Of Honor's lead commentator Ian Riccaboni revealed Sunday that he will be on commentary for New Japan's show in Seattle on January 15th. But he's not done with ROH just yet. Riccaboni told the Pro Wrestling Boom podcast he's under contract with Ring Of Honor through March of next year. (STINGER: New Japan) The finals are set in New Japan's World Tag League and Best Of The Super Juniors tournaments. The World Tag League final will have Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI vs. EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi from Bullet Club's House Of Torture. EVIL & Takahashi earned their spot in the final by beating Tetsuya Naito & SANADA on Sunday…while Goto & YOSHI-HASHI punched their ticket with a win over the IWGP Tag Champs Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr. The Best Of Super Juniors final will be Hiromu Takahashi vs. YOH. YOH beat SHO on Saturday…and Takahashi beat Robbie Eagles. El Phantasmo played spoiler by beating the IWGP Jr. Champ El Desperado. BOTH tournament finals will be held on Wednesday. Stardom's match on Night 2 of Wrestle Kingdom 16 on January 5th…will be Mayu Iwatani & Starlight Kid vs. Tam Nakano & Saya Kamitani. Tonight Ring of Honor, a promotion that paved the way for so many of today's top WWE and AEW stars such as Jay Lethal, Samoa Joe, Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson, Brodie Lee, CM Punk, Kenny Omega, and AJ Styles, will have its final show before going on hiatus. Ring Of Honor “Final Battle” takes place live from Baltimore Maryland and is headlined by Jay Lethal and Jonathan Greshman for the original ROH World Championship. Mark and Jay Briscoe battle for the OGK (Matt Tavern and Mike Bennett) for the ROH World Tag Team Championships. Chelsea Green and The Hex (Allysin Kay and Marti Belle) find themselves in six women tag team action against. Miranda Alize and The Allure (Angelina Love and Mandy Leon). The Righteous (Vincent, Bateman, and Dutch) (with Vita VonStarr) look to become the New ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions as they take on Shane Taylor Promotions (Kaun, Moses and O'Shay Edwards) (with Ron Hunt). The ROH Women's Championship is on the line when Rok-C defends against Willow Nightingale. Dalton Castle defends his ROH World Television Championship in a Four Corner Survival match against Rhett Titus, Silas Young and Joe Hendry. Brian Johnson looks to capture the ROH Pure Championship from Josh Woods. Kenny King and Shane Taylor will clash in a Fight Without Honor match.Eli Isom, Taylor Rust, and Tracy Williams find themselves across the ring from VLNCE UNLTD (Brody King, Homicide, and Tony Deppen) in a six man tag team match. Dragon Lee and Rey Horus do battle on this massive show as well. Will Ring Of Honor be back in April of 2022? Or will it take longer for the top independent wrestling promotion to return? This past weekend NXT held their annual WarGames event inside the Capitol Wrestling Center. Was this the last NXT pay-per-view event for Johnny Gargano and Kyle O'Reilly? It has been well publicized that Johnny Gargano did not resign with the WWE, but the rumors are also circulating that he has also not signed with AEW. With a newborn just a few months away, does Johnny take time off to be with his wife Candice LeRae? Kyle O'Reilly's contract was also up on December 10th, so will we see another member of the Undisputed Era find their way to AEW? With Winter Is Coming just on the horizon, could that be the night that we see the original UE get back together? Not to mention the hellacious women's WarGames match that saw Cora Jade getting the win for her team over the NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose. As well as Bron Breakker pinning the NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa to secure the win for Team 2.0. AEW saw the continuation of the feud between MJF and CM Punk with the latter coming out to the former's music and cutting an incredible promo on the hometown boy. “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes made it known that he was coming for Sammy Guevara's TNT Championship. Malakai Black singled out The Varsity Blonds this week and blew the black mist into the eyes of Julia Hart. Bryan Danielson continued his warpath through the Dark Order as he took on John Silver as he prepares for AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page next week at Winter is Coming. Speaking of Winter Is Coming and MJF, he will put the Dynamite Diamond Ring on the line against Dante Martin. And as always we will end the night with our Run-In segment and who knows what we will talk about there, everything and anything is up for discussion. All of this and so much more tonight on In This Very Ring!.

A special welcome to those of you listening on WrestleMap.com. If you want to bring our updates to your website...email us: desk@justprowrestlingnews.com. (STINGER: ROH) Ring Of Honor presents its Final Battle pay-per-view tonight. It's the last show before ROH goes on a months-long hiatus - Jonathan Gresham has a new opponent…after ROH World Champion Bandido was pulled from the show due to a positive COVID-19 test. Gresham will now face Jay Lethal…who jumped to AEW a few weeks ago. This match will NOT be for the ROH World Title. Bandido remains the champ…at least, for now. More on that in a moment. Gresham/Lethal is part of a double main event tonight. The other half is The OGK defending the ROH Tag Titles against The Briscoes. Rok-C defends the ROH Women's Title against Willow. Brain Johnson challenges Josh Woods for the Pure Title. Dalton Castle defends the TV Title in a 4-Way against Rhett Titus, Silas Young and Joe Hendry. Shane Taylor vs. Kenny King in a Fight Without Honor. Dragon Lee vs. Rey Horus. Violence Unlimited's Brody King, Tony Deppen & Homicide vs. HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams, Taylor RusT & Eli Isom. Chelsea Green & The Hex vs. The Allure & Miranda Alize. Plus, a 10-Man Wildcard Tag Team Match - where the participants have yet to be announced. ROH says it will address the world title situation during the Hour One pre-show. Also on the pre-show, The Soldiers Of Savagery & O'Shay Edwards defend the ROH 6-Man Titles against The Righteous. That's free on ROH's YouTube and Facebook starting at 7PM Eastern. The main show begins at 8PM. (STINGER: AEW) The Lucha Brothers are STILL the AEW Tag Team Champions. The beat FTR on Friday night's Rampage. We witnessed the in-ring debut of HOOK. The son of Taz beat Fuego Del Sol, using his dad's old Tazmission submission hold to finish off Fuego. Adam Cole beat Wheeler Yuta…there was a big brawl with Orange Cassidy and the Best Friends after the match. It ended with the SuperKliq hitting Trent with a triple BTE Trigger. Also on the show, Nyla Rose, The Bunny & Penelope Ford beat Ruby Soho, Tay Conti & Anna Jay. Rose pinned Jay with the Beast Bomb after The Bunny hit Jay with a pair of brass knuckles. (STINGER: WWE) On last night's SmackDown… KING Woods got a new crown…and he and Kofi Kingston won a non-title 3-Way over the SmackDown Tag Champs The Usos and the RAW Tag Champs Team RK-Bro. Jey Uso took the pin. Drew McIntyre pinned Sheamus with the Claymore. Earlier, McIntyre impaled Adam Pearce's desk with a sword. Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs beat Los Lotharios. Toni Storm won a non-title match over SmackDown Women's Champ Charlotte Flair. The ref disqualified Charlotte as she was battering Storm on the ring apron. Brock Lesnar beat up Sami Zayn…and suggested he and Paul Heyman are still in cahoots. Roman Reigns was NOT on the show. The advertised match between Sonya Deville and Naomi did NOT happen. Deville had Natalya and Shayna Baszler as her backup. They surrounded Naomi…but that's when Xia Li made her SmackDown debut and saved Naomi. Johnny Gargano is now a free agent. He announced the launch of his own store on Pro Wrestling Tees. Gargano tweeted he'll also be putting out content on YouTube and Twitch. Kyle O'Reilly reportedly is also now a free agent. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan's Best Of The Super Juniors tournament resumes Saturday. It's the final day of pool matches. Sunday is the final day of pool matches in the World Tag League…with three teams still tied on top of the standings. Two of those teams will face one another. It'll be Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI. The other team sitting at 16 points is Tetsuya Naito & SANADA. They'll face EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi…and if they win, they'll guarantee themselves a spot in Wednesday's final. A loss opens the door for Great-O-Khan & Aaron Henare. They'll face the Guerrillas Of Destiny. Tonight's New Japan Strong has Tomohiro Ishii vs. Brody King…Jonathan Gresham vs. Gabriel Kidd…and Will Ospreay, Jeff Cobb & TJP vs. Karl Fredericks, Clark Connors & Ren Narita. The answers are not 100% clear following last night's episode, but here's what we do know. Johnny Gargano was in the midst of what sounded like an emotional farewell at the end of the show, but he was interrupted by an attack from Grayson Waller…who powerbombed Gargano through the announce table. The show opened with Von Wagner beating Kyle O'Reilly inside a steel cage, and battering O'Reilly with the cage door after the match. Pics have surfaced from after last night's show went off the air, showing Gargano, O'Reilly and Tomasso Ciampa embracing. Shawn Michaels was also giving out hugs. This LOOKED like a farewell for both Gargano and O'Reilly. Time will tell. MSK's shaman was revealed last night. It's Riddle! He gave them some words of advice and promised not to leave. Santos Escobar beat Xyon Quinn. Elektra Lopez slipped Quinn a pair of brass knuckles, but he never used them and Escobar won anyway. Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs beat the Creed Brothers…despite the Grizzled Young Veterans STEALING the tag rope from Jensen & Briggs' corner. The ref decided this meant Jensen couldn't tag in Briggs…but Jensen still managed to roll up one of the Creeds and get the pin. Dexter Lumis beat North American Champion Carmelo Hayes via disqualification. (STINGER: AEW) Tonight's Dynamite has the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale. The last two men in the ring will meet next week for the Dynamite Diamond Ring, which MJF has won twice. Also tonight…Bryan Danielson vs. John Silver…Jamie Hayter vs. Riho…and the Young Bucks vs. Chuck Taylor & Rocky Romero. On last night's Dark… Emi Sakura beat Ryo Mizunami…after Mei Suruga attacked Mizunami behind the referee's back. There was post-match attack but Riho came to Mizunami's rescue. Also, Lee Moriarty beat Misterioso. Tony Khan told Barstool Sports the Christmas week episode of Rampage will air NOT on Christmas Eve, which is a Friday…but on Saturday - Christmas Day itself. (STINGER: ROH) A new title match is now added Ring Of Honor's Final Battle pay-per-view on Saturday. Dalton Castle will defend the ROH TV Title in a 4-Way…against Rhett Titus, Silas Young and Joe Hendry. Tonight's MLW Fusion Alpha has a Philadelphia Street Fight for the MLW Tag Titles - Los Parks defending against 5150. Also, the MLW debut of nZo. He'll face Matt Cross. Major League Wrestling's new MLW Azteca series will premiere on its YouTube channel on Thursday, January 6th. Dirty Dango - formerly known as Fandango in WWE - was on last night's NWA Powerrr…standing alongside JTG. Also on the show, Nick Aldis & Doug Williams - The British Invasion reunited…and they beat Luke & PJ Hawx. Colby Corino and The Fixers beat Victor Benjamin and The OGK. Corino pinned Benjamin. And Jennacide beat Paola Blaze… (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan's Best Of The Super Juniors tournament resumes Wednesday. Meanwhile, four teams are tied for the top spot in the World Tag League…with just two nights of matches left in that tournament. Two of those teams tied at 14 points a apiece will meet on Thursday, when Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI face Great-O-Khan & Aaron Henare. Tetsuya Naito & SANADA are also at 14 points. They beat the Guerrillas of Destiny on Tuesday, eliminating the G.O.D from contention. Naito & SANADA go up against Tiger Mask & Yuji Nagata on Thursday. The fourth team sitting at 14 points is the IWGP Tag Champs Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr. They face Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma on Thursday. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Wednesday, December 8th. So, Lethal was hurt. HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams is still injured. If you want to bring our updates to your website...email us: desk@justprowrestlingnews.com. We'll get into the big events coming up this weekend in a moment, but first... (STINGER: WWE) WWE has lost a top star to a major injury. Bayley will be out of action for approximately 9 months after hurting her knee. WWE said it happened during a training session on Friday. Bayley was set to challenge Bianca Belair for the Smackdown Women's Championship in an “I Quit” Match at Money In The Bank. Obviously, that will NOT be happening now. Instead, Belair's title defense will be moved up to next Friday's SmackDown - the first in front of LIVE fans since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her challenger will be Carmella. Now...Carmella was set to be in the women's Money In The Bank ladder match. But she's now out of that match and will be replaced by Liv Morgan. The final two entrants in the men's Money In The Bank match were decided on last night's SmackDown. Seth Rollins qualified by pinning a bloodied Cesaro...and Shinsuke Nakamura is also in after he scored another win over Baron Corbin. At least three women from NXT are joining the SmackDown roster. Shotzi Blackheat & Tegan Nox debuted last night - announced simply as “Shotzi & Nox”. They were the surprise opponents for the WWE Women's Tag Champs Natalya & Tamina...and they got the win. Shotzi pinned Natalya after a senton from the top rope. The third call-up is Toni Storm. A hype video last night announced that she's “coming soon”. Jimmy Uso did appear on last night's SmackDown. He and brother Jey took a beating from Edge and the returning Rey and Dominik Mysterio at the end of the show. Jimmy Uso was arrested and charged with D.U.I. earlier this week. A formal arraignment is scheduled for later this month. We now know that WWE's Extreme Rules pay per view will be held on Sunday, September 26th...at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Major League Wrestling is back in front of live fans Saturday night at the 2300 Arena in bucolic and pastoral South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It's Battle Riot III. The Battle Riot match is a 40-man battle royal with wrestlers entering in 60-second intervals. Eliminations are by pinfall, submission or going out over the top rope to the floor. The winner gets a shot at the MLW Heavyweight Championship held by Jacob Fatu. Davey Richards is gonna make his MLW debut. He'll compete in the Riot match...and he'll also go one-on-one against TJP. Richard Holliday will defend the Carribean Championship against King Muertes. Cesar Duran - the former Dario Cueto - will be in attendance in Philly. Plus, a Bunkhouse Brawl between the Von Erichs and Team Filthy's Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku. The show will be broadcast on BeIN SPORTS starting at 10PM Eastern. (STINGER: ROH) On Sunday, Ring Of Honor presents its Best In The World pay per view. Rush defends the ROH World Championship against Bandido. Jonathan Gresham puts the Pure Title on the line against Mike Bennett. Dragon Lee challenges Tony Deppens for the TV Title. HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams & Rhett Titus defend the ROH Tag Titles in a Fight Without Honor against Chris Dickinson & Homicide. Shane Taylor Promotions defend the 6-Man Tag Titles against the makeshift team of Dalton Castle, Dak Draper & Eli Isom. Plus, Brody King vs. Jay Lethal...EC3 vs. Flip Gordon...The Briscoes vs. Brian Johnson & PJ Black...and Josh Woods vs. Silas Young in a Last Man Standing Match. There will also be TWO matches on Hour One of Best In The World, which will be free to watch on multiple platforms: DEMONIC Flamita vs. Rey Horus...and PCO & Danhausen vs. The Bouncers. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan confirmed Friday that its Wrestle Grand Slam show in Tokyo Dome will go on as scheduled on Sunday, July 25th...despite a new COVID-19 related state of emergency in Tokyo. The declaration will mean that New Japan will cease ticket sales for the show on July 11th. New Japan's Summer Struggle tour begins Saturday...with the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title being defended in the main event. Sunday's show has the tag titles being defended. Tetsuya Naito & SANADA will challenge Taichi & Zach Sabre Jr. Plus, KENTA returns to action. He'll tag with Yujiro Takehashi against Hiroshi Tanahashi & Yota Tsuji. Impact's X-Division Champion Josh Alexander was on last night's New Japan Strong. He pinned Rocky Romero in the main event. Backstage, Alexander declared he's not leaving New Japan anytime soon. Pro-Wrestling NOAH has a big show on Sunday...with Naomichi Marufuji defending the GHC Heavyweight Title in the main event against Takashi Sugiura. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Saturday, July 10. Our next update comes your way MONDAY morning. Enjoy your weekend, and be sure to subscribe to this feed. (STINGER: WWE) Sunday's NXT TakeOver: In Your House will see the NXT Tag Titles and the North American Title defended...in the same match. MSK & Bronson Reed will face all three members of Legado Del Fantasma in a 6-Man Tag. The winning team gets ALL the gold. The TakeOver match between Cameron Grimes and LA Knight will now be a Ladder Match for the Million Dollar Championship. Io Shirai returned to NXT last night...introduced by Poppy. Also last night, Ember Moon beat Dakota Kai via disqualification...after NXT Women's Champ Raquel Gonzalez got involved. Oney Lorcan pinned Austin Theory. Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne brawled at ringside during this match. That distracted Theory and opened the door for Lorcan to hit a uranage for the win. Isaiah SWERVE Scott pinned Killian Dane. The rest of Hit Row beat up Drake Maverick. (STINGER: ROH) We have a new match added to Ring Of Honor's Best In The World pay per view. It'll be Silas Young vs. Josh Woods in a Last Man Standing Match. Tony Deppen will defend the ROH TV Title in 3-Way against former champions Dragon Lee and HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams. That match will be shown on ROH's weekend TV in two weeks. The latest wrestler to advance in the Survival Of The Fittest tournament is… The end saw Sledge knock Johnson for a loop with a forearm...but Johnson collapsed right onto Sledge's knee - and injured him. Johnson rolled up Sledge and got the pin. After the match, PJ Black showed up to congratulate Johnson...but Johnson didn't seem too happy to see him. Ian Riccaboni tweeted that ROH will return to Philadelphia for a show “with fans”...and “information will be communicated shortly”. The NWA will run pay per views on back-to-back days in St. Louis...coming up in August. The first will be an all-women pay per view, with Mickie James serving as executive producer. The pay per view on August 29th will be the NWA's 73rd Anniversary show. Also announced on last night's Powerrr...there will be a tournament to determine the next holder of the NWA National Title. (STINGER: AEW) On last night's Dark… Aaron Solow pinned Sonny Kiss...after Kiss was distracted by QT Marshall standing at ringside. The Factory beat up on Kiss after the match. Joey Janela was nowhere to be seen during all this. Former NWA TV Champion Zicky Dice made his AEW debut on last night's Dark. He was dispatched in a matter of minutes by Lance Archer. Also, QT Marshall beat Bear Bronson...and Matt Sydal beat Dante Martin in the main event. No Dynamite tonight. It's pushed back to Friday night again this week. The WWE Championship match at Hell In A Cell will be INSIDE Hell In A Cell. Bobby Lashley will defend against Drew McIntyre...and it's now being promoted as McIntyre's last title shot against Lashley. Shayna Baszler confronted Alexa Bliss at the end of last night's Raw. Alexa wanted an apology for Shayna calling Lilly a “stupid doll”. Shayna did not. She and Alexa got into some fisticuffs, leaving Shayna alone in the ring...where she stomped Lilly's head. That set off some special lighting effects and pyro...and sent Shayna retreating to the backstage, where she locked herself in a room...only to find Lilly was in the room with her. Shayna was very distressed by this. End scene. End show. Elsewhere on Raw, Women's Champ Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair were forced to team up ahead of their title clash at Hell In A Cell.... You'll never guess it - they didn't get along. They actually came to blows during the match. Charlotte hit Rhea with Natural Selection and Nikki Cross pinned Ripley to get the win for her and Asuka. The Viking Raiders won a tag team battle royal last night - earning a shot at the Raw Tag Titles held by AJ Styles and Omos. The United States Champ Sheamus was on Raw...sporting a mask...to protect what's being called a broken nose. Ricochet and Humberto Carrillo battled to decide who will be next to challenge Sheamus for his U.S. Title. But both men were counted out...and the match was declared a draw. Kofi Kingston pinned Riddle with Trouble In Paradise. Elias and Jaxson Ryker had a brief match. Ryker got the better of the action...so Elias decided to take a walk...and Jaxson won via countout. Mansoor used a rollup to pin Drew Gulak. Jeff Hardy pinned Cedric Alexander with a Swanton Bomb. That is Hardy's first singles win since January 18th. Eva Marie is being promoted for next Monday's Raw. The Miz shed a little light on a knee injury he reportedly suffered at WrestleMania Backlash. He told Sports Illustrated's Justin Barraso, he'll “be out for a little bit of time.” Miz dismissed reports he could be out of action for up to nine months. This may be a good sign for The Miz. He was announced Monday for Major League Baseball's All-Star Celebrity Softball Game. That's being held in Denver on July 11th. (STINGER: ROH) A first round match in Ring Of Honor's Survival Of The Fittest tournament will premiere today on ROH's YouTube. Also on the show...Josh Woods submitted Silas Young in a Pure Rules Match. (STINGER: New Japan) The new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion is...Shingo Takagi. He pinned Kazuchika Okada with Last Of The Dragon...in the main event of Monday's Dominion show - winning the vacant title. After the match, Shingo called out Kota Ibushi to be his first challenger. Ibushi - of course - accepted that offer. Ibushi beat Jeff Cobb earlier in the show. El Desperado turned away YOH's challenge for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title. We discuss his time in WCW, his tours of Japan, the unfortunate injury he suffered in Finland, and his career in TNA. Allan also tells us great stories of his travels with Kevin Nash and Mike Sanders, and there's plenty of other stories with Lex Luger, the Wall, and oh so much more. Matt even joins in during the interview and it completely goes off the rails, which is just how we like it. The guys then cover picks and NWA's When the Shadows Fall. Andrade makes it official and appears on AEW Dynamite. Kevin loves him some Josh Woods and Silas Young action as well as the Josh Alexander/TJP ironman match from Impact. Matt loves the new IWGP World Champion Shingo Takagi. And Tony things Trevor Murdoch will have his day while not being interested in Aldis/Rhodes III.   Be sure to check us out on http://www.RantEMRadio.com Chat with us on Discord on our server - https://discord.com/invite/pYWbRdt Follow us on Social Media: Twitter - @RantEMRadio - http://www.twitter.com/RantEMRadio Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/RantEMRadio Facebook Group - http://www.facebook.com/groups/RantEM Instagram - @RantEMRadio - http://www.instagram.com/RantEMRadio

Listen and subscribe at www.JustProWrestlingNews.com I'm Matt Carlins and this is JUST Pro Wrestling News for Friday, June 4, 2021 . This update is brought to you by IndyWrestling.us. (STINGER: WWE) TWO title matches are being promoted for tonight's SmackDown. Rey & Dominik Mysterio defend the SmackDown Tag Titles against The Usos. Also, Apollo Crews puts his Intercontinental Title on the line against Kevin Owens. Commander Azeez will be barred from ringside. WALTER is set to return to NXT UK. He's being promoted for next week's show. We got an NXT UK Tag Title match on Thursday's episode. Pretty Deadly turned away a challenge from Nathan Frazer & Jack Starz. Starz took the pin. Joe Coffey beat Rampage Brown in the main event. After the match, Coffey and Brown appeared to be discussing a rematch. That's when Ilja Dragunov showed up...implying these three will have some business to settle. Earlier in the show, Dragunov pinned Noam Dar with Torpedo Moscow. Also, Joseph Conners pinned Flash Morgan Webster with a hangman's neckbreaker...and Jordan Devlin made a brief appearance - his first time on NXT UK since before WrestleMania. (STINGER: AEW) A special Friday Night Dynamite tonight, starting at 10PM Eastern. And there's a new match just added to the show on Thursday - Red Velvet vs. The Bunny. Also tonight…the Young Bucks vs. Pac & Penta El Zero Miedo… Dustin Rhodes vs. Nick Coromoto in a Texas Bullrope Match… Christian Cage & Jungle Boy vs. Private Party... Cody Rhodes and Lee Johnson vs. QT Marshall and Anthony Ogogo A championship celebration for the new AEW Women's Champ Dr. Britt Baker. We'll hear from Mark Henry on AEW TV for the first time. AEW regular Madi Wrenkowski says she'll miss 4-6 weeks of action due to a fractured nose. (STINGER: Impact) The main event of Impact's Against All Odds show is in some doubt. Moose is set to challenge Kenny Omega for the Impact World Championship...but on last night's Impact...the main event between Moose and Sami Callihan was interrupted by Omega and the Good Brothers. They attacked Moose. That meant a DQ victory for Callihan. Scott D'Amore now wants to add Callihan to the title match at Against All Odds - making it a 3-Way. Don Callis says AEW Owner Tony Khan won't want Callihan wrestling Omega. D'Amore responded by saying Khan will be on next week's Impact so D'Amore can pitch adding Callihan in-person. The Knockouts Title Match at Against All Odds may also see a late change. Rosemary and Havok will meet on next week's Impact. If Havok wins, she gets added to the Title Match at Against All Odds. If Rosemary wins, she gets Deonna Purrazzo all to herself. Josh Alexander is still the X-Division Champion. He survived a 60-Minute Iron Man Match against TJP last night. It began on Before The Impact...and extended into the opening minutes of Impact's main show...and then it went into overtime. Alexander held a 1-0 lead...and had TJP in an ankle lock...but TJP managed to reverse it into a rollup with just seconds left on the clock to even the match and force overtime. In OT, Alexander hit Divine Intervention...and pinned TJP for the win. Fire n' Flava beat Jordynne Grace & Rachael Ellering to retain the Knockouts Tag Titles. Grace took the pin. Kimber Lee & Susan will get the next title shot at Against All Odds. Rich Swann was set for a match against W. Morrissey...but Morrissey attacked Swann before the match...brawled with security...and the match never happened. Willie Mack eventually ran off Morrissey. That'll be the match on next week's Impact...and they'll try again with Swann vs. Morrissey at Against All Odds. Another title match announced last night for Against All Odds: Rhyno & Deaner defending the tag titles against Crazzy Steve & Black Taurus. Jake Something beat Rohit Raju in a Tables Match. Satoshi Kojima blew through Deaner to win his Impact in-ring debut. We also got the first vignette promoting the Impact debut of Steve Maclin - the former Steve Cutler of WWE's Forgotten Sons. Impact announced last night a limited number of fans will be in attendance for the Slammiversary pay per view in Nashville on July 17th. (STINGER: New Japan) The aforementioned Kojima will appear on tonight's New Japan Strong. He'll tag with Karl Fredericks against Team Filthy's JR Kratos and Danny Limelight. A few other news bits from Japan… Kzy (kay-zee) is the winner of Dragon Gate's King Of Gate tournament. He defeated Kota Minoura (mee-NOR-ah) in the final match on Thursday. (STINGER: ROH) This weekend's Ring Of Honor TV has the first match in the Survival Of The Fittest tournament: Flamita vs. Rey Horus. Also, a Pure Rules Match between Silas Young and Josh Woods. One other ROH note from earlier this week. O'Shay Edwards has apparently joined Shane Taylor Promotions. Major League Wrestling is bringing in one of the hottest names on the U.S. independent scene - Lee Moriarty...and will debut with MLW at its show in Philadelphia on July 10th. Moriarty was one of TWO new names revealed during Round 3 of MLW's Open Draft. Aramis (air-uh-MEEZ) is also joining the league...under a multi-year deal. MLW confirmed two names returning to MLW for its summer restart: Zenshi...and Savio Vega. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Friday, June 4.
