She handed Ronda Rousey her first singles loss in WWE. The show opened with The Usos beating Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs to retain the SmackDown Tag Titles. But the big story was Boogs suffering a major leg injury during the match. Michael Cole later announced Boogs suffered a torn quadricep patella. He'll need surgery. The Miz & Logan Paul beat Rey & Dominik Mysterio. After the match, Miz turned on Paul! Also last night, Drew McIntyre beat Happy Corbin. SmackDown got the #1 overall pick and took Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Raw followed that by taking WWE Champ Big E. Then, things got interesting. SmackDown added Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair...Drew McIntyre...Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods - REsplitting The New Day….Hit Row from NXT...and Jeff Hardy. The names drafted to Raw Friday night: Bianca Belair...Edge...Rey & Dominik Mysterio...and NXT's Austin Theory. Many big names were not drafted. It was stated that the WWE roster was divided into separate pools, but those lists were not made public. The draft continues on Monday's Raw. The new rosters will not go into effect until Friday, October 22nd...the day after the Crown Jewel show. Becky Lynch will defend the SmackDown Women's Championship...at Crown Jewel in a 3-Way against Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks. Lynch's outside interference helped Banks rollup and pin Belair in the main event of Friday's SmackDown. Also on the show, HAPPY Corbin, with Riddick “Madcap” Moss in his corner, pinned Kevin Owens with the End Of Days. Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods and the Street Profits beat Chad Gable & Otis and Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode. Carmella donned a new protective face mask before she beat up on Liv Morgan. Brock Lesnar was on Friday's SmackDown. He briefly traded blows with Roman Reigns...and then laid out The Usos. Brock later revealed he will NOT be drafted because he's a free agent. WWE announced the King Of The Ring tournament...and a new Queen's Crown tournament...will return starting on next Friday's SmackDown. Goldberg is being promoted for Monday's Raw. (STINGER: AEW) On Friday night's Rampage...Bryan Danielson got his first singles win in AEW. He submitted Nick Jackson with the Cattle Mutilation. Jade Cargill stayed unbeaten in her AEW career. She pinned Thunder Rosa after a barrage of chair shots to win a No Disqualification 3-Way over Rosa and Nyla Rose. Orange Cassidy pinned Jack Evans to win a Hair vs. Hair match in the main event. Participants for the Casino Ladder Match on next Wednesday's Dynamite were announced on Rampage: Andrade El Idolo, Jon Moxley, Lance Archer, Matt Hardy, Orange Cassidy and Pac. The 7th participant - the “Joker” - will be a surprise reveal on Wednesday. The winner of the match gets a shot at the AEW Championship. The new TNT Champion Sammy Guevara will defend the title on Wednesday's Dynamite...against Bobby Fish. Riho will appear at Tokyo Joshi Pro's Wrestle Princess II show on October 9th. (STINGER: New Japan) The leaders of the B Block in New Japan's G1 Climax tournament remained unbeaten on Friday: Kazuchika Okada kept his perfect start to the tournament going. He cradled and pinned Hirooki Goto. Goto remains winless in this year's G1. Jeff Cobb is also undefeated. He beat Tama Tonga. YOSHI-HASHI finally got a win on Friday. He beat Taichi. Also, Hiroshi Tanahashi beat SANADA...and EVIL beat Chase Owens. She beat Miranda Alize in the finals of the ROH women's title tournament. Bandido is STILL the ROH World Champion. He survived a 4-Way Elimination Match against Brody King, EC3 and DEMONIC Flamita. EC3's elimination came via disqualification, after the referee caught him using a steel chair. King pinned Flamita to eliminate him...and Bandido later caught King in a crucifix pin to secure the win. Shane Taylor Promotions beat La Faccion Ingobernable's Dragon Lee, Kenny King & Bestia Del Ring to retain the ROH 6-Man Titles. King took the pin after Taylor cracked him in the head with a steel chair. The OGK - Mike Bennett & Matt Taven - beat The Briscoes. Taven surprised Jay with an inside cradle to get the pin. It'll be Bey & Hikuleo vs. FinJuice at Victory Road. Also announced for Victory Road, Rosemary & Havok wil defend the Knockouts Tag Titles against Tasha Steelz & Savannah Evans. Rosemary pinned Steelz with a spear on last night's show, but after the match Steelz and Evans STOLE the Knockouts Tag Title belts. Also announced for Victory Road, Moose & W. Morrissey will take on Eddie Edwards & Sami Callihan. Moose had Morrissey in his corner as he beat Edwards in last night's main event. There was a huge melee after the match, which ended with Callihan rescuing Eddie & Alisha Edwards from Moose & Morrissey. Karl Anderson beat Rich Swann in a Bunkhouse Brawl match. Anderson finished Swann with a top rope Gun Stun ONTO a table. That's an important distinction because the table did NOT break. Maclin beat Petey Williams after TJP, Fallah Bahh, No Way AND his conga line strolled out to ringside and distracted Williams. Laredo Kid wrestled a match on last night's Before The Impact...and got a win over John Skyler. Major League Wrestling revealed the first five participants in the upcoming Opera Cup tournament: FILTHY Tom Lawlor, Matt Cross, Davey Richards, TJP and Calvin Tankman.
