La declaración voluntaria de Víctor de Aldama ante la Audiencia Nacional del jueves pasado ha provocado un terremoto político. El conocido como “nexo corruptor” del caso Ábalos implicó en la trama a varias figuras destacadas del Gobierno y del PSOE, incluyendo al propio presidente del Gobierno, Pedro Sánchez y a su esposa, Begoña Gómez, imputada en otro juzgado por tráfico de influencias, corrupción en los negocios y apropiación indebida. Aldama aseguró que su foto con Pedro Sánchez en 2019 durante un acto político en el teatro La Latina de Madrid no fue casual. Al parecer Sánchez le convocó personalmente para agradecerle por unas gestiones que había hecho previamente en México. Recordemos que Aldama fue detenido a principios de octubre a cuenta de un fraude relacionado con el IVA de hidrocarburos. Se encontraba en la prisión de Soto del Real y hace unos días solicitó declarar voluntariamente quizá tras haber alcanzado un acuerdo con la fiscalía. Su testimonio, que se prolongó durante cerca de dos horas, fue demoledor. Salieron muchos nombres junto al de Sánchez y su esposa. Aldama confesó haber entregado elevadas comisiones de dinero en efectivo a varios políticos como José Luis Ábalos, su asesor, Koldo García, y el secretario de Organización del PSOE, Santos Cerdán. También desfilaron otros nombres como los ministros Teresa Ribera, Nadia Calviño, Fernando Grande-Marlaska y Ángel Víctor Torres, con quienes Aldama dijo haber tenido relación. Las reacciones no se hicieron esperar. Pedro Sánchez describió las acusaciones como una "inventada" y defendió la integridad de su Gobierno. El PSOE ha anunciado que tomará acciones legales contra Aldama por calumnias. Los más afectados, como Cerdán, han negado rotundamente cualquier implicación, subrayando que Aldama carece de pruebas y su declaración podría ser una estrategia de defensa para salir de la cárcel. Ábalos, por su parte, ha pedido declarar ante el juez para defenderse de las acusaciones. La declaración de Aldama ha dejado muchas preguntas abiertas sobre la veracidad de sus afirmaciones y sus posibles motivaciones. Ahora la Justicia tiene la tarea de desentrañar la verdad detrás de estas acusaciones, lo cual podría llevar meses o incluso años, dado el nivel de detalle y la importancia de los personajes implicados. Si Aldama puede probar todo lo que afirmó en la Audiencia Nacional, el Gobierno de Pedro Sánchez está en serios problemas, empezando por el propio presidente, que gobierna a duras penas y gracias a un acuerdo muy inestable con una serie de partidos nacionalistas y de extrema izquierda. Pero no parece que se vaya a dar por vencido. En Moncloa han tocado a rebato apelando al conocido manual de resistencia. Son conscientes de la amenaza. Esta declaración es un torpedo en su línea de flotación y si el caso se complica podría terminar el propio Sánchez sentado en el banquillo de los acusados. Todo el entorno mediático afín al PSOE y al Gobierno se ha puesto en marcha desplegando en los últimos días una actividad frenética para distraer la atención al tiempo que cargan sobre Aldama.
