Industrial hemp has only recently been re-introduced in American production systems. Therefore, there's a lot to learn about how to best produce this versatile crop in American climates. This episode of the Field, Lab, Earth podcast, Josh discusses his work testing current growing practices to see where improvements can be made. Tune in to learn: What are the two main categories for industrial hemp? Why is it difficult to get new pest management tools for industrial hemp? Which agronomic practices do or don't help with cannabis yield? What regulatory systems affect industrial hemp farmers today? Introduction: Host Michael Rand revisits the trade that brought Rudy Gobert to the Timberwolves ahead of his Friday return to face his old team in Utah. Would the Wolves still make the trade if they knew things would look so clunky so far this year? Would the Wolves have made the trade if someone other than Tim Connelly had been running the team? And would the trade make more sense if you knew another big move was yet to come? 11:00: Vikings writer Ben Goessling joins Rand for a look ahead to Sunday's matchup against the Lions. With a win, the Vikings would clinch the NFC North title. That allows us to look ahead to discern which teams Minnesota might want to face -- and avoid -- once the playoffs come around. 33:00: The Baker Mayfield game was better than the Josh Freeman game.

Less than a month into the new mayoralty in the City of New York, we assembled a panel of leading journalists to delineate Eric Adams's vision for the city, especially as it pertains to working people. Only the second black mayor in the city's history, Adams was also the son of a housekeeper, a graduate of the public schools, and for two decades the member of a municipal union. Our host, historian and emeritus faculty member Josh Freeman, asked the assembled reporters whether these facts are likely to impact the administration's approach to municipal labor relations, and more broadly, to governing one of the most deeply unequal cities in the nation.

Or will they try to acquire a cornerback?; Which loss was worse, the loss to the Cowboys or the infamous Josh Freeman game against the Giants?; If Prescott had played would the Vikings have been blown out?; Why the Vikings offense was too conservative against the Cowboys?; How come Mike Zimmer won't adapt?; And who should replace Zimmer if the Vikings move on?

It is that time of the year and QB movement is in the air. In today's episode of the Inside Football Podcast with Bill Polian we begin our two part look at the QB Carousel in 2021, but in order to set the stage for this year's potential unprecedented movement we needed to do some research to provide some context. So to do that Bill went into the time machine and looked at every QB taken since 2009 in the first round who is no longer with the team that drafted them and then organized them into groups to figure out what went right with some and what went wrong with others in a effort to see what kind of patterns we could find. So get ready, this is truly a unique deep dive into the QB evaluation process.
