In the early hours of Oct 4, 2025 in downtown Indianapolis, former NFL QB and Fox Sports analyst Mark Sanchez got into a confrontation with Perry Tole, a 69-year-old truck driver collecting used cooking oil. The dispute reportedly started over blocked access/parking near an alley. During the struggle, Tole pepper-sprayed Sanchez and then stabbed him multiple times, saying it was self-defense after Sanchez allegedly tried to get into his truck and attacked him. Sanchez fled and was later hospitalized with serious injuries. Sanchez was arrested and initially booked on misdemeanors; prosecutors have since upgraded to felony battery resulting in serious bodily injury (a charge that can carry 1–6 years if convicted). The deal will create a lender with combined assets of about $288 billion, making it the ninth-largest U.S. bank. Comerica shares jumped 12% before the bell; Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker said Monday that Texas National Guard troops should “stay the hell” out of his state after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott approved President Donald Trump's request to send troops to other states; and former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and television personality Melissa Rycroft Strickland was arrested recently in Southlake on suspicion of drunken driving. Tampa Bay receiver Evans is out with quarterback Mayfield, receiver Godwin and their left tackle questionable. On defense an end is questionable. Philadelphia has a massive injury advantage based on the Chao ratings by +13.50. Tampa Bay has a very low offensive health rating at 67. Recent Box Score Key Stats Eagles at Buccaneers 1PM ET—Philadelphia is 3-0 following their 33-26 home victory against LA Rams. The Eagles were limited on the ground and finished with 288 yards with effective passing. They allowed 160 yards rushing to the Rams for nearly six yards a carry but limited them to 5.7 yards per pass attempt. Jalen Hurts hit 21 of 32 for 226 yards and three touchdowns. Recent Box Score Key Stats Jets at Buccaneers 1PM ET—NY fell to 0-2 following their 30-10 home defeat to Buffalo. The Jets rushed for 100 yards for nearly five yards a carry with only 54 passing yards. They surrendered 224 yards rushing to the Bills for 5.2 yards a carry and 6.6 yards per pass attempt. Tyrod Taylor gets the start for the Jets. In relief for Fields he went 7 of 11 for 56 yards and a touchdown. Tampa Bay is 2-0 with their 20-19 road win on Monday night against Houston. The Bucs rushed for 169 yards for 5.6 yards a carry and inefficient numbers in the passing game. They limited the Texans to 84 rushing yards with 7.6 yards per pass attempt.
