In this episode, I talk about something I've been sitting with in my own life and business lately: can you let go of the exact how?Because when we have a desire, an idea, a next step, or a sense that something is shifting, the mind wants to know exactly how it's going to happen. How will it work? How will the money come? How will people find it? How will it all unfold? And if we can't see the full path, we often start doubting and overthinking.I share how I've been noticing this in myself as my business changes and I feel called into new ways of working and creating. There's a part of me that wants certainty before I move, but life doesn't always hand us the full map. Sometimes we get the next step, and that has to be enough. This episode is about learning to trust without needing to control every detail. It's about loosening the grip, staying open, and allowing life to surprise us a little.Maybe the work isn't to figure out the whole how. Maybe the work is to take the next honest step and let the path reveal itself from there.Support the show

As of right now...Shedeur Sanders is listed as the backup quarterback on the Browns depth chart. Girl bosses? Check. Overbearing mothers? Check. Politicians getting into sexy shenanigans? You betcha! Emily returns to Congressional Cemetery to pay her respects to one of its most (in)famous interns, Mary Ann Hall. From humble beginnings, Mary Ann worked her way up to be one of the most successful business women in Washington D.C. Servicing politicians, socialites, and the elite just blocks away from the nation's capitol, Mary Ann was making bank. The only problem was, her business was illegal. Kelley tells the terrifyingly true story of Julia Buccola Petta, a young Italian immigrant who tragically died during child birth. But when her body was exhumed years later, what onlookers found was truly shocking. Beware of freshly poured patios and take control of your life (or don't) because we're wining about herstory! Growing up in the Pacific Island culture, one of the many commandments we have to live by is to respect our elders. At times this means dealing with certain members of family that we just have to tolerate for the rest of our lives - - our overbearing aunties. But, of course, we do more than just, tolerate them. We adore them, we look up to them, and we love them. And most of all, we obey them. ABC broadcasters Seiuli Salamasina von Reiche and Agnes Tupou share what made their aunties so special and how being an aunty has shaped them.
