Devotional Prayer by Be Inspired by His Word © Good Morning Song by Paul S. Morton As soon as I stop worrying Worrying how the story ends I let go and I let God I let God have His way That's when things start happening When I stop looking at back then When I let go and I'll let God I'll let God have His way I couldn't seem to fall asleep There was so much on my mind Searching for that peace But the peace I could not find Oh, but then I I knelt down to pray I was praying, "Help me, please" Then He said, "You don't have to cry 'Cause I'll supply all your needs" As soon as I stop worrying (oh) Worrying how the story ends (oh) When I let go and I let God Let God have His way That's when things start happening (oh) When I stop looking at back then When I let go and I'll let God Let God have His way Just let go And let God (let God) Oh, let go (let go) And let God (let God) Oh, let go (let go) And just let God (let God) But this thing I did command them: ‘Listen to and obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people; and you will walk in all the way which I command you, so that it may be well with you.' Jeremiah 7:23 AMP Prayer Everlasting father the wonderful king I worship honour and magnify your name King of glory thank you for this beautiful day and grace of life Father have mercy on me and forgive all my short comings in Jesus name Lord remove all weariness from my life in all aspects Father take off every source of worrying affecting my body, soul and spirit Lord keep my faith strong in you and let me live above all challenges that life may throw at me Father eliminate every power causing any form of delay or hinderance in my path I decree the power of God is working endlessly in my life in Jesus name Lord eternal in every area I have an expectation let your mercy and favour speed the manifestation up in Jesus name Lord destroy the power that is bent to ruin my purpose in life Lord whatever plans that is manifesting against your will in my life physically or spiritually shut them down now Father destroy the will of the enemy over my entire household henceforth I decree concerning all situations before me right now have your way and grant me divine grace to excel in Jesus name Lord eternal over every member of my family destroy every pit of destruction dug on our behalf I decree I will not be confined spiritually or physically my freedom will not be taken away from me in any aspect of life in Jesus name Lord concerning the vessel used for this daily prayer, all impacted by it and our household manifest your power in our lives beyond human reasoning in Jesus name amen *Personal Prayer* Thank you everlasting father for answered prayers in Jesus name *Confess Daily; Sin shall not have dominion over me, I am operating in the power of the word of God. I am the righteous of God in Christ Jesus by faith, as Jesus is so am I in this world. Worrying has no place in my life. The Lord has taken dominion over all that concerns me. I have placed my trust in the Lord therefore I will never be put to shame. I yield my life into the hands of Jehovah, therefore no plans of darkness can take root or stand in my life. The lord is at work in and around me doing wonderful things in all aspects of life. I am a victor, I am a trailblazer, Christ in me is the hope of glory. Smith certainly achieves this goal and so much more every time he graces a stage or studio with his consistently energetic, emotionally charged style of finessing his instrument. His journey with the ivories began at the tender age of 10 years old as the keyboard and piano player for his mother who was a pastor in East Chicago, Indiana. Life soon thereafter landed Smith in Charleston, West Virginia in 2003. During his time in WV, Smith's musical journey allowed for him to play on a number of stages including ones in Austria and Japan. He was introduced to the organ through playing in WV churches and added it to the arsenal of instruments he mastered. He has played in many bands and for many artists including Jonathan Dunn, Paul S. Morton, Twinkie Clark, Tasha Page-Lockhart, Paula Champion, J.J. Hairston, Lawrence Flowers, Micah Wilshire, and The Wilson Brothers Band.Smith hit the ground running on the music scene when he arrived in Nashville, Tennessee, in the summer of 2017, where he currently resides. When he isn't on the road as a band member for artist Hunter Hayes, playing keyboards and singing background vocals, he is a studio session musician and plays with local Nashville bands including Sam McCrary and The Mix, The Grant Garland Band, The Network, and his own local band J. Smith and Great Vibes. He is also the organ/keyboard player and one of the musical directors of Judah Temple of Praise Ministries of Nashville, TN.His brilliant and lively keyboard stylings are a hot commodity in the places he has played and soon will be all over the world. The sky is the limit for this musical mastermind. Keep your eyes open and your ears keen for Johnathan Smith!Support the show (http://paypal.me/bachtorockpod)

If anyone has both the heart and skill that perfectly personifies a supremely successful musician and Christian creative entrepreneur, it's Trent Phillips. From his roots as a music minister in Miami, to becoming the driving force behind a vast catalog of Grammy, Dove, and Stellar Award-winning albums and songs, Trent Phillips has established himself as one of the leading Producers, Musical Directors and Keyboardists of our generation. Far from resting on his accomplishments in music, which include directing bands and producing for Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Donnie McClurkin, Bishop Paul S. Morton, and dozens of other top-tier gospel legends, Trent has continuously dedicated himself to raising up the next generation of musicians and creatives. In this revealing and inspiring interview, Trent reveals the process that shaped his career in gospel music industry, and his character as a Christian and businessperson. You'll hear in his own words what he learned from his early years in music ministry, to becoming a MD on one of the most iconic albums in gospel music history, and the lessons he'd learned as a leader of worship leaders and coach to the next generation of music ministers and producers. How he remained in mentorship relationships that helped him connect with the right artistsHow his early years steered him toward the path of music and how multiple influences kept him flexible as a musicianHow being open to God's leading resulted in the biggest shift in his musical careerWhy musicians cannot be presumptuous in their dedication to only one career pathWhy he prioritizes the value of the local church despite his worldwide successHis most treasured moment and the moments when he knew he had wasted an opportunitiesHis advice to every musician and creative in a post COVID-19 music industry For more show notes and links, tap here! As Christians, to what degree should one's theology shape or influence his or her view of politics? In this episode of the Just Thinking podcast, Darrell and "Omaha" (Virgil) discuss that question in light of a comment made recently on social media by Bishop Paul S. Morton. Morton, a black man, urged black Christians who are considering supporting Democrat candidate Pete Buttigieg a biological male who is "married" to a biological male, for president in 2020, to stand on the biblical definition of marriage, and why Morton paid a price for making such a comment.

Bishop Paul S. Morton recently addressed his congregation regarding the revelation of a daughter he has never publicly acknowledged. This has set off a storm of accusation against Bishop Morton that calls into question how accountable should pastors be about their past. What if any avenues or limitations are available for pastors to share their struggles with their congregations? Join Pastor Neal for another great discussion on Zera Today.
