Pastor and gospel singer Donnie McClurkin faces civil sexual-assault allegations filed by a former assistant spanning from 2003 to 2015. The lawsuit outlines purported grooming, unwanted sexual contact during “pray the gay away” sessions, and an alleged 2013 apology email in which McClurkin reportedly calls himself a “desperate dirty old man.” McClurkin has vigorously denied the claims, calling them “categorically false,” and has pledged full cooperation as the case moves forward. The Rickey Smiley Morning Show kicked off with a State Department warning doubling down on U.S. citizens in Iran: anti-government protests have claimed over 600 lives, with security crackdowns, internet blackouts, and suspended flights raging across the country. Americans were urged to “leave Iran immediately,” via commercial or land routes like Turkey or Armenia, with the U.S. embassy stressing limited consular assistance and emphasizing the danger of arbitrary arrest—especially for U.S.–Iran dual nationals. Next, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker's divorce has escalated from quietly filed last November to heated legal warfare. Kandi claims Todd has failed to contribute to mortgage or child-related expenses while traveling abroad, and she’s pushing for child support and a defined parenting schedule. Todd has countered—challenging the prenup and requesting primary custody and alimony; he’s also resisting Kandi’s efforts to seal court files. In a lighter shift, Dr. Ian Smith joined to discuss his new book, The Last 15. He emphasized metabolic resetssearch15, protein prioritization, carb cycling turn, workouts as keys to advisory emphasizes re-stimulating weight loss after the body. And behind it all, for the past 20+ years, there's been Bob Reeves Brass. John talks about first meeting Bob and being taken under his wing, before returning with a law degree in hand to rescue the business, provide stability for Bob and his wife into retirement, and maintaining Bob's principled approach to business and customer service. Thank you to Vinnie for encouraging the idea and bringing this episode to life, and thank you to all of our wonderful listeners and viewers for your continued support. What does it mean for the Church to be a living Ebenezer in today's world? In this powerful message, Pastor Donnie McClurkin challenges the direction of modern Christianity and calls the body of Christ back to humility, repentance, and biblical truth. Preaching from 1 Samuel 7:12, Pastor McClurkin reminds us that the Church must reflect God's help, not human pride. He critiques the celebrity culture in the Church, confronts the misuse of God's name in national symbols, and urges pastors to stop promoting themselves and start serving. This message is a call to holiness, to become living testimonies of God's deliverance—true Ebenezers in a world that desperately needs His help. The Church must return to being a humble, holy reflection of God's presence—living Ebenezers that point to His power and grace. The Bible says that God will command the blessings when people come together in unity. Pastor Donnie McClurkin vehemently opposed the widespread division that has found its way into the body of Christ. He ascertained that this division has put the church in a dangerous place because the church is a substratum of hope and help for the world. He admonished that we should not allow our political differences to bifurcate our fellowship and solidarity because if the church is divided then we will become disconnected and dysfunctional. He then called for unity, reminding us that everyone is valuable and everyone is needed in their respective roles because God has made us as one body, which should never be divided.
