In 1993, former Juice Crew member Masta Ace left Cold Chillin records and signed with Delicious Vinyl. Mad at gangsta rap, the way his career was going, and the direction hip-hop was headed at the time, Ace put his new crew together called Masta Ace Incorporated, releasing the SlaughtaHouse as the groups debut album. The album is primarily a Masta Ace album, but members Lord Digga, Paula Perry, Eyce Uneek, Rokkdiesel and Whitch Doc all contribute by either producing the hard dark sound the album is known for or lyrically. This album not only is severely underrated, but Masta Ace is in peak form with his lyrics and flow, making this one of the best albums in 1993.https://www.tiktok.com/@brandonhetzel996?_t=8sFOYlX5ZGs&_r=1 https://www.instagram.com/str8clippa/profilecard/?igsh=MXVpbmR3bmwweWNxOQ== https://www.facebook.com/share/15PhZhgYUb/?mibextid=wwXIfr
W Radiu Paranormalium zapraszamy do wysłuchania wybranych fragmentów najnowszej książki dra Raymonda Moody'ego i Paula Perry'ego, zatytułowanej "Dowód na życie po życiu. 7 powodów, by wierzyć w życie po śmierci". W Lekturach Paranormalium zajrzymy do rozdziału trzeciego, zatytułowanego "Transformacyjne Światło".

Welcome to episode 11! Today I’m joined by Paula Perry, founder of an organisation called You 4 Us. This is a legacy organisation aimed at supporting families, particularly Black families to break inter-generational cycles of poverty and develop the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive. Paula is a living testament to the work she does. According to statistics she should not be a professional woman, published author or a person developing a nice property portfolio, but here she is doing these things and empowering others with the skills and strategies she has developed. Paula’s approach to financial empowerment is so practical and effective she is able to demystify jargon and help people understand their finances. She also provides coaching, workshops and online packages that support people to understand that they can identify and change the beliefs that are driving their behaviour and decision making. Paula’s work in in finance is the tip of the iceberg she does work around parenting and developing confidence too. Paula decided to start in the area of finance as she is aware that it is difficult to focus on deeper layers such as emotional behaviour and wellbeing if finances are causing stress. Paula also knows that looking at the behaviour that underpins our financial choices can be a way to assist people to start becoming more self aware. Paula brings a new level of diversity to personal development making the concept of thriving available to people that society often over looks. In this episode we talk about the four stages of wealth, how Paula assists people to give their money purpose, money mindset and more. Paula also makes some book recommendations to assist with shifting our money blue prints: Rich Dad Poor Dad, Robert T. Kiyosaki The Richest Man in Babylon, George Samuel Clason You Are a Badass At Making Money, Jen Sincero Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, T. Harv Eker You can keep up to date with Paula on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or her website.
"Paula Perry"Female hip-hop MC from Brooklyn, NY. People first heard Paula Perry as a member of Masta Ace, INC, where she proved to be far more than simply a token female crew member. She struck out on her own with her debut single "Paula's Jam," which was a monster underground hit. And she soon released a slew of singles, including "Extra, Extra" produced by Premier. She eventually wound up on Motown Records, but her album, Tales From Fort Knox, got lost in the system. Life and work. Paula Perry grew up in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, an area that at the time consisted mainly of prefabricated blocks of social housing (so-called projects ). It was discovered by rapper Uneek, also from Brooklyn, who introduced her to Masta Ace . In 1992, with Masta Ace, Perry recorded a song called Kick It On The One , intended for the second solo album by Masta Ace, Shelf Life . However, since Masta Ace overcame with his label Cold Chillin ', there was no longer the release of this album. The already completed songs were released years later on two EPs. The recorded with Paula Perry song is located on the first of these two discs, on Shelf Life Vol. 1 , a 2013 published and limited to 300 copies pressing on Chopped Herring Records. After separating from Cold Chillin 'Masta Ace founded the Masta Ace Incorporated crew (Masta Ace, INC.) And joined the group on the label Delicious Vinyl. Paula Perry was also included in the crew. Together, the album SlaughtaHouse was released in 1993. On the occasion of the tenth birthday of the video music show Video Music Box , which started in 1983, Paula Perry and Masta Ace were able to perform their song Who You Jackin from the SlaughtaHouse album live. After Perry had canceled an early tour of the group because she preferred her own professional career of uncertain music career, she then toured regularly with Masta Ace, INC. By her own admission, she received only for these tour performances money from the record label, but not for their participation in the albums. [1]Two years later, in 1995, the crew released the second album called Sittin 'On Chrome . This made it to # 19 on the Billboard Top R & B / Rap album charts and remained in the Billboard Top 200 for months. In 1996, Paula Perry released her first 12 " solo as a solo artist entitled Paula's Jam (on Loose Cannon Records, a 1994-96 imprint of PolyGram Records, whose best-known artist was Buju Banton ). The song received in the music press partly outstanding reviews. In a review it was said:24-year-old Brooklynite Paula Perry fluted glasses of Cristal. "" If we were judging female MCs these days on verbal skills instead of puny poetry, then Lil 'Kim and Foxy Brown would revert to their given names and serve. ""If rappers were to be judged on their verbal abilities and not on their sexualized gutter language, Lil 'Kim and Foxy Brown would have to end their careers (" take their bourgeois name back ") and 24-year-old Paula Perry from Brooklyn would be champagne (" Cristal ") a champagne brand) in crystal glasses. "- Charles Aaron : in the music magazine Spin , issue February 1997, p. 92It was followed in 1998 by the song Down To Die For This (on the label Motown ) as well as collaborations with the Lost Boyz ( The BQE ) and other rappers (Nicki D, Paula Perry, Rah Digga , Heather B , Precious P & Bahamadia - Six-pack ).With the single produced by DJ Premier and recorded at the D & D Studios in New York , Extra !! (in 1998 on Motown) in the style of an extra page of the fictional newspaper Fort Greene Chronicles on her already completed and raring album titled Tales From Fort Knox (the title is a nod to her birthplace Fort Greene, Brooklyn) be pointed out. The song was played internationally on the radio and was also mentioned in the German music press:"Refined by the golden producer hands DJ Premiers, this track delights Paula Perry's debut album [...] from the very first second. The ingenious mixture of hypnotic minimal beats, a gripping funk groove and a voice from which one would like to be told a few stories, captivates sustainably. "- Norbert Schiegl : in the music magazine JUICE , issue 5-1998, p. 82However, the aforementioned album was never released, allegedly because the label (Mad Sounds Recordings, an existing in the 1990s and specialized in hip-hop sublabel Motown ) intended for the release and promotion funds instead for an album by Queen Latifah ( Order In The Court ) used. Most promo CDs of the 17-song album were destroyed by the label, although there had already been reviews in music magazines. Allegedly, there are only fewer than ten copies today, so that individual promo CDs of the album are traded on the Internet at top prices. In addition to the previously published single tracks, the album contained productions of Easy Mo Bee , Clark Kent and Domingo. Guests included Kelly Price and Perry's mentor, Masta Ace, and Que 45, with whom she has a son. Masta Ace produced under the pseudonym Ase One also four songs of the album. Two years later appeared with Y'All Chickens Make Me Laugh another 12 "of the artist under her real name (this time on the label Fully Blown Recordings), which was also played internationally on the radio. One last solo release available on a physical sound carrier was the 12 " I'm So Ghetto / Watch Ya Head , released under the pseudonym" The God Mommie "(in 2003 via Familliar Faces Records). Since then, Paula Perry came out only on the Internet published mixtapes ( Paula Perry The Godmommy, 6 , 2009, and Take Another Shot At It , 2012), as well as through short videos in which she directed herself.Although Paula Perry made a name for herself in her hip-hop underground through her early songs ( Paula's Jam and Extra, Extra !! were underground hits and made it into the Hot R & B Singles of the Billboard charts), she finished her Career as a musician, without ever having made the commercial breakthrough as a solo artist.
