Jill in Bridport and Jez in Ledbury go head-to-head in the mighty quiz!
Generation Skywalker makes a long overdue return to vintage Star Wars figure focus episodes. Over the next few months we'll be releasing a series of shows covering each of the bounty hunters from The Empire Strikes Back and the infamous scene onboard Darth Vader's Star Destroyer. To kick off The Bounty Hunter Capture Pod, in this first part we're hunting all things Bossk. We discuss the character, the figure, the card back, the mail-away offer, the multipacks, beyond the toys items and much, much more. Ron Salvatore is back for another Rebel Alliance briefing on the figure and blows our tiny little minds with another knowledge bomb. Mark Andrews from Variant Villains also joins us to talk fat lips and toxic limbs. It's a Bossk bonanza, full of information, observations and a few laughs along the way. Jez's Bossk impersonation alone makes episode an essential listen. So download now and let's go hunting.
Even though the verdict has been handed down, thousands of articles and podcasts are still talking about the mushroom case. Jez and Bev chat about the photos, the memes and why we're obsessed with women who kill. Jules is away for a few weeks and filling in for her on Not Stupid is the ABC's National Culture correspondent, co-host of Stop Everything and Life Matters on Radio National, Beverley Wang. Episodes drop every Wednesday afternoon. We want to hear from you! Join the conversation and email the show at notstupid@abc.net.au

We got so many emails about colour, from Monet's dining room to Samoan delicacies and puce lollipops. Julia Baird and Jeremy Fernandez have chat about the stories you're obsessed with, the stuff you've missed and the things that matter. Episodes drop every Wednesday afternoon. It's a little strange that a common clapback to a vet telling an owner that their pet is sick and needs diagnostics and treatment is "but he's still eating" (especially when it comes to dental disease). He's probably still eating because if not he'll die! Nicole and Jez discuss some markers of quality of life and discomfort that could use a bit more thought. Jez Vedua-Cardenas currently resides in Southeast Michigan, where she was born and raised. Jez is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and works with WIC (a supplemental nutrition program of the USDA for Women, Infants, and Children.) Through her work, Jez realized there was a knowledge gap among many health and wellness professionals working with immigrant communities. Drawing on her own experiences growing up as a Filipino-American, and surveying the experiences of others–mothers in particular–she created educational materials for nutrition professionals that highlight traditional Filipino foodways. She emphasizes the connections between food, identity, and what it means to nurture and show love, and examines how assimilation pressures and modern food practices can impact eating patterns and health issues.

Daniel & Angus went out for a motorbike ride in the bush oneafternoon in Feburary 2020, what was supposed to be a quick fun ride took a turn for the worse. He was in hospital for many weeks and had to have many surgeries whilst in there.Gussy is one tough guy but he couldn't have gotten through any ofthat if it wasn't for the support of the staff and their expertise at TheRoyal Children's Hospital.Angus is now healthy and doing so well, he continues to support Danand the boys at every single race. He was a vital member of the boys pit crew at Finke in 2023 & 2024 and this year, he will be fulfilling a personal dream of competing in Finke himself, whilst raising money to give back to the heroes who saved his life.Any donation big or small will help us to reach our goal. After years of rumors, the Gears Of War Collection has become a bit of a running gag in the Xbox community. If it happens, great. If it doesn't, we never fully believed in it anyway. This week, we have Jez Corden to thank because it made for one of our fastest evolving stories mid-show! Starting off as a discussion of whether or not the Gears Of War Collection would ever happen, we quickly learned it is happening and... it won't have multiplayer. Is this a major dealbreaker for Xbox fans? Naturally, the Dukes debate, but the real question after assessing the early Forza Horizon 5 sales data is if it will matter to those playing on other platforms. Forza Horizon 5 is already beating out hot products with full marketing campaigns that are set to hit the market. Most stunning of all is that despite amassing 40+ million players and being available on multiple platforms for years, Forza Horizon 5's early access edition is the lead seller. It says a lot about how Xbox as a platform is viewed versus their content. So, let's dive in!
