Coop Pank emiteerib 15-20 miljoni euro eest uusi aktsiaid ja neid saab märkida kuni 29. novembrini. Aktsia hinnaks on 2 eurot, ehk vähem, kui küsitakse täna Tallinna börsil. Rinki Sethi joins us for the second time on the show, and this time she is with a new company. Just a few months ago, Rinki became the CISO at Twitter. In this episode, we talk about what made Rinki want to take the jump to a new company and how you can adjust to working for a new company when you’re completely remote. Background Rinki joined Twitter in September of 2020. Before that, she was the CISO at Rubrik. Rinki has also served in cyber security positions for IBM, Intuit, Walmart and eBay.Taking the LeapYour job is so much more than day-to-day tasks. It’s also about the relationships you form with your team and your interactions with them. When COVID-19 had her office go remote, Rinki was left in her house with a lot of free time. And that free time led her to do some deep thinking about who she was and who she wanted to be, realizing that she was no longer feeling challenged at her job. Rinki talks about looking at it from the perspective of the larger impact. Virtual InterviewsRinki’s hiring process was 100% virtual. For those who are used to traveling to another city for a few days to go through the interview process, this concept is hard to grasp. Rinki goes into detail on forming connections with the interviewers through a screen, and what questions you can ask the company to see if the environment is a good fit.Mental Health in the WorkplaceMental health is extremely important to Rinki, and she tries to implement that with her team as much as possible. However, she has yet to meet anyone from Twitter in-person due to the pandemic. That poses some challenges; instead of interpreting body language and the physical environment of your team, you have to interpret video calls and chat messages. Rinki shares some tips on how to ensure your team is prioritizing their mental health while reiterating one message: we are all still humans. The New CISOWhen asked what the new CISO means to her, Rinki emphasizes building and strengthening a security culture while continuing to be thought leaders for the company.LinksRinki Sethi - TwitterRinki Sethi - LinkedIn
All links and images for this episode can be found on CISO Series https://cisoseries.com/would-you-look-at-that-unrealistic-licensing-deal/ CISOs know that salespeople want to make the best licensing deal they can possibly get. But unpredictability in the world of cybersecurity makes one-year licensing deals tough, and three-year licensing deals impossible. This episode is hosted by David Spark (@dspark), producer of CISO Series and Mike Johnson. Our guest this week is Mark Eggleston, (@meggleston) CISO, Health Partners Plans. This recording was recorded live in front of a virtual audience at the "SecTalks - Leading with grit in security" virtual conference brought to you by our sponsor, Cobalt. Thanks to our podcast sponsor, Cobalt Cobalt offers a faster more effective pentesting solution through its Pentest as a Service (PtaaS) platform. With it, you can schedule a pentest in as little as 24 hours for all kinds of assets. The platform also connects you with a global pool of pentesters called the Cobalt Core, whose skills can match what you need. And instead of sending you a huge PDF that raises more questions you can’t answer, they engage with your team throughout the pentest. Findings can land straight into Jira and GitHub, helping you fix vulnerabilities as soon as they’re discovered. Cobalt makes pentesting easy, quick to deploy, scalable, and simple to remediate. On this week's episode Why is everybody talking about this now? A redditor is struggling and overwhelmed! The person is in school studying, working, and loving cybersecurity, but has completely and utterly failed the foundations course and is on academic probation. The person told their story to the cybersecurity subreddit community, and the support came out in droves. We've seen this before. People hit a major wall professionally and they just reach out to the anonymous masses for support. The story hits a nerve and the community is eager to show encouragement. In fact, just this past week, the New York Times had an article about the unemployment subreddit offering advice and information to those struggling. We'll take a look at this tactic of reaching out for support and guidance through discussion boards. What do you think of this vendor marketing tactic? "Pro tip to vendors: don’t claim that you can’t do a one-year licensing deal. You might end up with a zero-year license deal", said Ian Amit, CSO, Cimpress on LinkedIn. We'll look at the art of negotiating a contract with a vendor: What is it ultimately you want? What are you willing to concede on and what must you have? And what are the situations that cause this to change? It's time to play, "What's Worse?!" Jason Dance of Greenwich Associates suggests two scenarios that others believe is security, but actually isn't. If you haven’t made this mistake, you’re not in security On Twitter, the CISO of Twitter, Rinki Sethi, said, "A career mistake I made, I rolled out a phishing testing program before the company was ready for it. The HR team said it was against the company culture and if I tried a trick like that again, I would be fired. Lesson - communication is important in #cybersecurity." Rinki asked for others' stories of failure. Let's explore a few. What Is It and Why Do I Care? For this week's game, the topic is vulnerability management. We look at four pitches from four different vendors. Contestants must first answer what "vulnerability management" is in 25 words or less, and secondly must explain what's unique about their vulnerability management solution. These are based on actual pitches - company names and individual identities are hidden. The winners will be revealed at the end.
Simi opens the season with Rinki Sethi, the Chief Information Security Officer at Twitter. Rinki's hiring at Twitter was a watershed moment. Not only because she's trailblazer as a South Asian women holding traditionally male-dominated position, but also because she joined the team after the platform suffered a major hack in July 2020. The Twitter crypto scam compromised the accounts of figures from President Joe Biden to Elon Musk. Previously, Rinki served as the CISO at cloud data management company Rubrik, and also held senior cybersecurity roles at IBM, Palo Alto Networks and Intuit. She began her career at the PG&E, Walmart, and Ebay. On the side, Rinki serves as an advisor to several startups, including LevelOps, Authomize, and organizations like Women in Cybersecurity. In this episode, we catch up on everything from the moment that unlocked her passion for cybersecurity to what it's like to fend off threats on a platform used by 330 million people across the globe.Visit our website southasiantrailblazers.com to subscribe to our newsletter. Editointi: Mikael Mustonen Lukija: Jutta Saanila Tämä on Minun näköinen mieli -podcast ja minä olen Jutta Saanila. Tällä kertaa puhun suoraan puhelinrinkiläisille ja ennen kaikkea niiden kokoonkutsujille. Kokoonkutsuja. Kokoonkutsuja. Kokoonkutsuja. Ensimmäinen puhelu on kaikille aina ERITTÄIN jännittävä. Näin me kasvetaan, näin te kasvatte ja näin he kasvavat ihmisinä ja jokainen kokemus tekee meistä vahvempia.

Sopranos- ja Game of Thrones -sarjoille.
It's June and that can only mean one thing, it's National Dysphagia Awareness Month! Rinki Varindani Desai is today's contestant on SLP Trivia Fun. As a medical speech-language pathologist, she's a wizard when it comes to all things swallowing and she's also the co-founder of STEP, a subscription-based dysphagia education and training library STEP. How does Rinki stack up against all of the unique (and silly) dysphagia-related questions? Does Rinki speak Hindi during the episode? Does Erik crack a bunch of corny jokes? The only way to know the answers to these questions is to listen!
We interview Rinki Sethi, senior director of information security at Palo Alto Networks. Rinki began her career in cybersecurity almost by accident following a free pizza night. After roles at Walmart.com, eBay and Intuit, Rinki is now a senior leader at Palo Alto Networks. She credits her love of mathematics and an electronics class in which she was the only woman among 99 men with setting her on a path towards a computer science degree Cyber for Women", tackles the key issues facing women in the cybersecurity industry. With a significant skills shortage likely to result in an escalating demand for cybersecurity professionals, some experts predict there will be 9,000 vacant roles by 2020. Attracting more women to the industry is one key way to address this shortfall.
The researcher-clinician divide in dysphagia management is real. In this installment of DOWN THE HATCH (the swallowing podcast), clinician SLP Rinki Varindani Desai M.A., CCC-SLP and researcher Ianessa Humbert, Ph.D.,CCC-SLP (host of Down the Hatch) candidly discuss the problems and possible causes of the researcher-clinician divide among professionals involved in dysphagia management. As a solution to this divide, and in response to overwhelming clinician demand for a relatable and clinically relevant way to learn to read the research literature, Rinki and I introduce DYSPHAGIA GRAND ROUNDS (DGR)at the end of the podcast. DGR is an online journal club that focuses on swallowing and swallowing disorders. In DGR, Dr. Humbert will conduct monthly webinars discussing ways to critically appraise a research study on a specific topic related to dysphagia. Medical trials depend on people being prepared to try new drugs or to take part in experimental procedures which may not help them now, but might help others in the future. There are many reason not to answer calls for help from researchers but without people willing to sign up for trials, better medication and other treatments with real potential to help out a raft of health issues can't get over a crucial hurdle. Dr Rinki Murphy from the University of Auckland is a specialist in diabetics who often puts out requests for volunteers to help in her research projects. Lynn Freeman also spoke to Rinki's colleague Brendan, who is diabetic and signed up for a genetic test.
