MaryBeth Hyland, the Founder and Chief Visionary of SparkVision, decided to leave after leading her over a decade successful career in nonprofit management, in order to advocate for creating values-driven culture workplaces where people are embraced with their own authentic stories, imperfections, and values. Although most organizations and companies have their core values displayed on their walls, MaryBeth endeavors to make these people figure out whether these values are truly embodied by their people or merely lip service. And when they finally getintentional, she helps live in alignment with them.Highlights:Speaking her truth about being a child of abuse (which explains why she also rallies for foster parenting) exemplified to other people that they can be respectable and successful by showing up authentically.  The magnitude of community connections established and lives changed by speaking your truth, especially by stepping into the perspective of power instead of the place of victimhood cannot be underestimated.SparkVision is a space where individuals and organizations are led to intentionally identify their values, eliminate what does not serve them, and eventually live in alignment with those that serve their individual and collective purpose. Her awards and recognitions from different award-giving bodies affirm her reputation of being a human engagement expert. She shares childhood memories of growing up on her Grandparents' farm, where she developed a deep appreciation for nature, staring at the stars, and the beauty in stillness, and how coming back to that stillness has been key in her life and psychedelic journeys. The conversation then shifts to all that she's learned through her work with children on the autism spectrum: the problems of putting people into boxes; how autism affects everyone; the different ways people learn; the connection between autism and the gut microbiome; and how she has learned more from some of these children than any book could teach her – culminating in a story of discovering that a very challenged child people were ready to give up on could actually read and comprehend everything he was hearing. She discusses her favorite adaptogens; the art of stacking adaptogens and different modalities; her multi-day coaching sessions; Internal Family Systems; quantum biofeedback; the use of supplements in microdosing; and Brilliant Blends, which sells blends of supplements designed to provide benefits as close to what psilocybin can provide (but legally) – inspired by the unique needs of autistic individuals. There are many, many, many varieties and they each will have differing effects.” “Thinking is what human minds and brains do. We're very well equipped to think. The goal of meditation is not to stop thinking, the goal is to stop getting lost.” “We can't transform our mind unless we know what our minds are actually doing.” “When you begin to actually open up the black box of our mind, begin to inspect it and interrogate it, it could be terrifying to see what's there because it's so chaotic for many people.” “One of the things that distinguish humans from other species is that we have the capacity to engage in mental time travel. We can reflect on the past and we can anticipate the future.” “Human beings are born to flourish. We have all of the capabilities to lead a happy, meaningful, and engaged life. We come into the world with those capacities but they need to be nourished in order for them to be expressed.” Listen to the SuperAge podcast wherever you get your pods. Connect with Dr. Richard Davidson: WebsiteBooksHealthy Minds Program AppCenter for Healthy Minds Instagram

Camille believes there is no great secret to creating a massively profitable business that aligns with your soul's purpose. There is, however, a need to shift your mindset to get there. In Episode 79 of The Lean Out Your Business podcast Camille shares what it means to be a Soul Professional and why it is possible to do what brings you joy, do good AND make money. In fact, it's Camille's belief that the more money you make, the greater impact you can have in the community and world around you which is one of the reasons growing your own wealth is so important.  If you thought the only way to grow your own wealth was to get stuck doing a job you hate (trading your time for money), or to pursue a fancy degree, think again. You can get a degree, you can earn a title but the outcome of wealth isn't guaranteed. In the same way, choosing to follow a creative career doesn't mean you're destined for bankruptcy. No matter what path you choose, your greatest indicator of wealth will be if you're passionate about the impact you're making and the work that you're doing.  Listen to Episode 79 to learn more about the work that Camille is doing with the Soul Professional movement and to learn more about creating an energy of true wealth.  Show topics include: 2:24 what does it mean to be a soul professional  3:48 breaking free from the status quo 4:04 the masculine energy side of business 4:28 putting out the right energy to grow your business 5:25 staying in your lane of joy 5:38 the preconceived notions of how you are supposed to show up in business 6:23 creating a heart centered business model for future generations 8:15 defining success differently 9:52 The Creative Kids Project 11:03 Crista's personal experience of feeling she had to choose between being smart or being creative 12:09 why Camille moved “up or out” every two years in corporate business 12:55 how to weave all your passions together so you can work in joy and make money 13:15 why you need to be passionate about the work you do  15:07 how the COVID-19 pandemic changed work culture 16:40 changing your mindset around making 6-figures 18:17 the correlation between making more money and having a large impact 18:50 limiting beliefs about money 19:06 awakening your spiritual and financial potential  20:48 learning to give in order to grow 22:26 why you need to build your own wealth 23:09 Camille's book: The Ultimate Guide to Creating Your Soul Aligned Business 25:15 building your business from a soul connected space 27:00 the game changing work of inner work  Connect with Camille: Soul Professional Website: https//SoulPofessional.com Camille's Website: https://CamilleLMiller.com Podcast: https://sixfiguresouls.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/camillelmiller/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/naturallifebp/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/camille.miller.756/ Global Collaborative on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/481100689298181 Work with Crista: If you're ready to reimagine your business but aren't sure where to start, book a free consultation call at scalingstrategycall.com Ready to build your signature, scalable offer?
