LA-based collective Beauty In Chaos release their fourth long-play record 'Dancing With Angels' on July 24 via 33.3 Music Collective. Their fourth album cements BIC's legacy for crafting captivating and imagination-stirring music with eight diverse, riveting tracks on offer. BIC has also just unveiled the video for 'Holy Ground', a lush offering featuring Patrik Mata of seminal darkwave band Kommunity FK, Beauty In Chaos was formed in 2018 by guitarist Michael Ciravolo (formerly of Human Drama and Gene Loves Jezebel and currently President of Schecter Guitars) with Grammy nominated producer Michael Rozon (Ministry) as a revolving evolving sonic entity. To date, Beauty In Chaos has involved numerous music luminaries, including members of The Cure, Ministry, Cheap Trick, The Offspring, Gene Loves Jezebel, Marilyn Manson, Human Drama, Bauhaus, Nine Inch Nails, Van Halen, A Flock of Seagulls, dUg Pinnick (Kings X), ICE-T, guitar icon Zakk Wylde, Rolan Bolan, and many others. "The title was inspired by a painting from a talented German artist Maren Platzhoff, which also became the album's cover. As Michael Rozon and I began writing the music for this release, I knew I wanted to blend artists from our first two releases with some amazing new members to our BIC family," says Michael Ciravolo. This eight song release features BIC alumni Ashton Nyte, Holy Wars firecracker Kat Leon, and both Wayne and Cinthya Hussey. Ciravolo shares “I love bringing in ‘less famous' but certainly no less talented artists to the fold, and I think this album does just that”. Leo Luganskiy, Julian Shah-Tayler, former Silence In The Snow frontwoman Cynthia Isabella, The Bellwether Syndicate's William and Sarah Faith, and Patrik Mata (main-man of seminal darkwave band Kommunity FK) bring immense and diverse talents to “Dancing With Angels”. Ciravolo describes this album as sort of a "sonic regression and a sonic progression", noting “I meant this as a positive thing, taking some of the post-rock elements of our debut album, the stark dark bits that run through ‘The Storm Before The Calm' and the gothy dreamy-gaze of 'Behind The Veil'. It was definitely going a bit backwards to take a few steps forward!”

Post- NAMM I enjoyed this follow up with guitarist Michael Ciravolo of Schecter guitars, now i know what's new is his album "Beauty Re-Envisioned" which is a totally cool newer and different compilation mix of what might've ended up on the cutting room floor ... and it's great, coming out this June! "Finding Beauty in Chaos" is one of the best records I've heard in the last year or so, with an incredible appearance by Tish Ciravolo, and an unbelievable song dedicated to Hurricane Katrina victims called "Un-natural Disaster"... look out for the videos they are amazing to see!

The morning after the 20th anniversary of his marriage to his wife Tish, Michael Ciravolo took some time to talk with us about Beauty in Chaos. We talked about the album’s guests and their contributions as well as the role(s) his wife and daughters played in the project. Along the way, we also answered the pressing questions like, “Is it really a Van Halen reunion if Michael Anthony isn’t on stage?” Michael Ciravolo is also the President of Schecter Guitars and we only recently learned of this project through Anastasia Vishnevsky, who is the composer and producer of our theme music. She uses a Schecter guitar on much of her music. The album is going through a reinterpretation project with several producers and artists taking part. They’ve also re-recorded a few songs with strings and piano. Michael recently had the solo on Un-Natural Disaster re-recorded by none other than Zakk Wylde and there’s a video in production for it. Zakk & Ice T have already shot their parts and we should be seeing it soon. You can subscribe to our podcast through your favorite app. If you like what you hear, please leave a rating and/or review. Join us this week as we welcome Country Rock music singer songwriter, Mark Mackay. A blazing guitarist, an evocative vocalist and a songwriter steeped in authenticity: At the crossroads of country music and rock and roll is where Mark makes his stand. Fronting a powerhouse band, he rocks the room with rowdy charm and persuasive conviction. Within the last year has opened for country stars like Frankie Ballard, Eli Young Band, Cole Swindell, Tracy Lawrence and Old Dominion, plus legendary rockers The Marshall Tucker Band, 38 Special, Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi) and Orianthi. Playing over 230 shows last year, earned him a well-deserved slot on Music Connection’s “Top 100 National Live Acts.” Mackay just released his debut album on May 1, 2017, appropriately titled Trials & Tribulations, of which he either wrote or co-wrote every track on the record. As Mackay is always touring throughout the year, this earned him early supporters through sponsorships via Schecter Guitars, D’Addario, Seymour Duncan, Deering, and Red Bull. We will talk to Mark about his upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at his music, feature his latest songs, and ask him to share his message for the troops. Please be sure to visit Mark Mackay at http://www.markmackayofficial.net/ and spread the word. And as always we will give shout outs to our deployed military listeners. Our message to the troops: WE do what we do, because YOU do what you do.
The beginnings of this band Skum Love were farther ago than we might imagine, that must be where the music gets it's great sound. Rock that is classic in origin, an Industrial sound, it's Punk and it's Metal too. I hope that you make it to the next show, and give this a listen on iTunes!
What's new at Schecter guitars is always very exciting. The musicians they represent all possess a unique model of their own which is of course, top- quality and custom made. All for sale so that all of you can have one like it. The bands they are best known for include Black Label Society, and their new line of Wylde guitars looks quite outstanding. They are responsible for the making of the Prince model which is what he is know for playing, too cool! So many awesome guitars like the Cheech and Chong, Sean Yseult White Zombie coffin-shaped classic. Halloween electric ... and so on. Daisy Rock guitars are especially for young ladies, and it was his wife who started the company. Great talk if you want to enjoy listening.
