Recently, I was on a consultation call with a world-famous marketer. If I mentioned their name, everyone would know who it is. They’re launching a new offer and they wanted my advice on some things. What happens when you launch 21 power offers in 4 months? One of the core principles I teach in High Ticket courses is being agile. Being able to move quickly and test a lot of ideas. Usually, that's to find the one idea we can scale. But what if they all work? Pretty pictures pull more prospects. When I first came up with the 3-tiered offer model for High Ticket Courses, I tried explaining it to people verbally. And as I talked to them face-to-face, I could see they didn't get it. Something just wasn't clicking. But I had to find a way to make them "get it." In my mind, I started seeing shapes. Branding is all about your messaging, images, content, silent messages (customers' conversations about you when they are not in front of you). My focus when we launch these projects and new projects is 1. Revenue - customers want to know, "can you solve this problem for me?". We need the revenue to move forward. 2. The Dominio Effect -> when a webinar is successful, people will research you, etc. For us, it has lead to a massive increase in podcast downloads, investment into our business and messaging, sales calls, and ultimately purchasing one or more of our products and services. As I expand my brand, the webinar is the pillar of this. How can I create something people will talk about? How can I create something FIRST where that people will want to spend time with me so they remember me and trust me? If this converts, great. If not, you re-work it. As you are going through and creating your marketing materials, creating your webinars and creating your offers. You can not get jealous that/if others are outselling you. You have the best thing in the world and it is your duty to get your messages and products or services out to your audience. So Happy New Year!--- I wanted to chat with you about some things that I have been hearing on calls with current clients as well as on sales calls. It is so important to know what our markets' fears, concerns, etc are. One example: I spoke to a prospective client about a product he has been sitting on for a long, long, long time. I had to keep asking "how can I help?" He would cut me off and avoid answering the question. Finally, when he did answer he said this: "Joel, I have this product that is a game changer... the best thing in the market place, and I am sick and tired of watching all of these other marketers outsell me...They have an inferior product... I know I have the best product in the market." Expert's Dilemma: Where we have anxiety and animosity towards others because they are outselling us and our "own" products. We just can't get out of our own way. Which leads us to the Expert's Curse - we are too close to our product and we just can't get out of our own way. These are the two things that will limit us! You have the best thing in the world, and it is your duty to get your product out to your audience

I want YOU to stop treating your webinar as a product and I want you to start thinking of how you can 5 or 10X your business without any extra effort. This episode is kind of a rant, but I am sick and tired of people buying into the fact that they need this $997 course, that it will be their golden ticket! It might be the ticket, but it won't be ever-lasting... so without further ado... If you have been following any of the big name marketers, you have also probably been leaving money on the table. Falling victim to the $997 curse! Everyone thinks they need the $997 course. I don't know why it has been hammered into our heads that we need this. But those who are successful in selling their $997 course, are over delivering. What I mean by that is, some of my clients have been providing over the top support, access, coaching for minimal profits a month minus all that fulfillment overhead. Make the shift: understand your true value and what people really want to pay for. Stop the cycle, stop the burn-out. Rule #1 - do not offer lifetime access as a bonus. The real money is made on the back-end. People don't want to buy courses, they want to pay for access. Think about it, a book only costs $5-$10. Why? Because it comes with no access. Once you build your webinar as a business model, leverage your webinar, you can 10X your value. How? It's by adding support and implementation help... but for an extra cost. Today we are discussing: Where is the best place for our webinar within our grand marketing space? There are many ways to apply a webinar. When speaking with clients, I am always looking for the answer to this question: "Where is this webinar going within your product or suite of offers?" Number 1: DIAL IN YOUR OFFER Number 2: Quickest way to monetize the offer So where will the webinar be the most effective? When is broad too broad? How large is your mass market really? Dominate one market first... then expand. Example: Dominate the webinar market, then move into our new business, Experts Unleashed. Become an EXPERT, take the time to really research and practice your expertise. And continue to learn. So where does a webinar fit in your marketing scheme... If you are doing a direct selling webinar then you want to make sure that you can get people on your webinar affordably. Update on the stats of our free funnel... Lots of lessons learned and content to absorb... This will literally transform your business... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fulfilling on my promise, I will update you on our free funnel. The way I think about business and selling is not to necessarily lead with free. "Free campaign" info and results: Top of mind vs free content Approach: LEAD with an OFFER But I tested leading with free..so how did it work? Facebook Group, five day challenge I assumed -> high engagement but ultimately enabling people to follow me for free content Results -> Day 1: Massive spike in engagement -> Day 5: Engagement was zero Offers were made and content dripped out throughout the week Not one single person applied Maybe 1 or 2 people converted to the free trial with only 1 actually paying for the subscription Total profit: $97 My typical campaign would consist of promoting to a small hot list, lead with stories of inspirational and testimonials; converted $60k in revenue plus back end sales. Earnings per lead - $75. ((Listen in for more examples)) So essentially I made more off the leads who were interested in my offer as opposed to those who I gave content away for free too. "When you lead with free, you attract people who are naturally not going to buy. When you lead with an offer, you are hyper-qualifying people and getting them interested in what you can offer. Everyone is looking for a solution!" "When you lead with an offer you get people to know you can solve a problem...You give them permission to market." Content is still king, but you need to do it in the proper order. I recently went out to LA to consult with a client. He has an unbelievable offer! My client was talking about this idea of how people are afraid to make offers. You have people who are great at direct response and others who are brand awareness/audience builders. We chatted about some big name influencers who are terrified to make offers! Revenue is what keeps your business pumping. The Perfect Expert is being able to leverage your ability to make offers to your audience and then build your audience. Your audience will then become so much more valuable.
