Nous connaissons tous Labeyrie, plus précisément Labeyrie Fine Foods et quelques-unes de ses marques emblématiques. Je pense en particulier à Delpierre. Il y en a d'autres. Un jour ou l'autre, nous avons dégusté l'un de leurs produits et nous avons demandé par politesse à saisir le dernier sur le plateau en partage. Il faut être un peu gourmand pour aimer Labeyrie. Or reconnaissons-le, nous le sommes tous (ou presque). En tous cas, moi je le suis. J'étais donc curieux d'aller à la rencontre de leur PDG, Jacques Trottier pour qu'il partage avec nous quelques-unes des recettes du succès du Groupe qu'il dirige.  Jacques nous livre certaines de ces recettes. Il nous raconte aussi comment Labeyrie a traversé les crises récentes, pandémie, énergie, inflation et comment maintenant il ressort la grande voile pour repartir à la conquête de nouveaux marchés. Voilà une ETI comme je les aime qui réalise un peu moins d'un milliard d'euros de Chiffre d'Affaires et dont le siège se trouve au milieu des Landes dans un petit village, Saint-Geours de Maremne. A group of campaigners, armed with a loudhailer brought their complaints about the luxury food foie gras to Petersfield High Street from Southampton. The activists oppose the sale of foie gras which is traditionally produced using a force feeding method not permitted in the UK. Their noisy protest caused annoyance among local people and led to two arrests. Shine Radio's Jo Gray met the protesters and those affected by the noise.
