Fáilte ar ais chuig eagrán nua de Ar An Lá Seo ar an 1ú lá de mí Bealtaine, liomsa Lauren Ní Loingsigh. I 1992 bhí sé sean aire chun a carr ón stát a cailliúint ag deireadh an mhí de bharr go raibh na ngardaí ag féachaint orthu. I 2009 dúradh go raibh na céadta daoine chun a bheith tástáilte de bharr go raibh siad ar eitilt leis an chéad duine a raibh fliú na muc acu. I 1981 dúradh go mbeadh nach mór 400 áit sa chontae cosúil le halla damhsa agus áis siamsaíochta chun billí a fháil I gcúpla seachtain de bharr go raibh clár tine réamhchúram chun dul ar aghaidh. I 1992 chuir comhairle contae an chláir cheist ar an Aire Cóir chun leathnú a dhéanamh ar an tionscnamh póilíneacht do na háiteanna tuaithe sa Chláir. Sin Tinchy Stryder agus N-Dubz le Number 1 – an t-amhrán is mó ar an lá seo I 2009. Ag lean ar aghaidh le nuacht cheoil ar an lá seo I 1980 bhí cosc ar an amhrán Another Brick In The Wall ó Pink Floyd san Afraic Theas de bharr gur d'uchtaigh na páistí gorma an t-amhrán mar aintiún agóid. I 2005 chuaigh Bruce Springsteen chuig uimhir a haon sna cairteacha sa Bhreatain lena albam Devils and Dust. Bhí sé seo a 6ú huimhir a haon sa Bhreatain. Agus ar deireadh breithlá daoine cáiliúla ar an lá seo rugadh amhránaí Tim McGraw I Meiriceá I 1967 agus rugadh aisteoir Jamie Dornan san Éireann ar an lá seo I 1982 agus seo chuid de na rudaí a rinne sé. Beidh mé ar ais libh amárach le heagrán nua de Ar An Lá Seo. Welcome back to another edition of Ar An Lá Seo on the 1st of May, with me Lauren Ní Loingsigh 1992: six former government ministers were to lose their state cars with effect from the end of month following a garda security review 2009: hundreds of passengers who shared two flights with the countrys first victim of the potentially deadly swine flu said they werent to be tested. 1981: proprietors of clares 300 to 400 dance halls and places of public entertainment were due to face staggering bills in the coming weeks as clare co.council pursues its fire precaution programme. 1992: clare co.council requested the minister for justice to extend the community policing initiative for rural areas to include west and south clare. Onto music news on this day In 1980 The South African government banned Pink Floyd's single 'Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2)' after black children adopted the song as their anthem in protest against inferior education. 2005 Bruce Springsteen went to No.1 on the UK album chart with 'Devils & Dust' the American singer songwriters sixth UK No.1. Thomas Juth is a Grammy Award winning Mix Engineer based in London, England.Juth started his career as the in-house mixer at Kensaltown Studios in London, and as a part of the Kensaltown Team (James Morrison, Jason Mraz, KT Tunstall, etc). Over the years, working with a very wide range of musical styles, he has developed his own trademark sound - organic and punchy, as well as "vibey" and exciting.Over the past 7 years Juth has built up an impressive discography, including latin superstars Jesse y Joy (which won him two Grammy awards), Luis Fonsi and Ricardo Arjona as well as legends such as Cat Stevens, Elton John and Engelbert Humperdink. Juth has also recenlty been working with UK rapper Tinchy Stryder.Growing up in northern Sweden, Juth developed a passion for sound and music at an early age. It all began one day when hearing The Beatles' Come Together, at the age of 7. With the years, the passion for sound and engineering grew further, a passion that eventually got him a job at Mayfair Studios in London, and later at Kensaltown Studios.Juth is currently based in north-west London and continues to work on a wide variety of genres and projects. This is a great episode for artists and producers who want to learn a little bit about the mix process, and is good for every musician to understand the common thread that unites mixing, songwriting and other aspects of music creation.Thomas’ main focus is on people and the heart of music. A refreshing perspective to remember in today’s musical time period which needs connection and substance more than ever.
