Send us Fan MailPerfectionism can look like ambition from the outside, but inside it can feel like a nonstop attempt to stay safe. Natasha Joy Price sits down with therapist, speaker, and Rooted Counselling and Wellness founder Cindy Payne to unpack complex PTSD, the kind of trauma that grows in relationships and disrupted attachment rather than one isolated incident. We talk about why this “relational trauma” can leave you second-guessing yourself, struggling with boundaries, and stuck in patterns like people pleasing and fawning, even when you're a high achiever who seems to have it all together. We also get practical about healing. Cindy explains why many trauma survivors live “neck up”, and how somatic therapy and body-centred practices help reconnect mind and body safely. We discuss micro steps such as noticing constriction versus expansion, tracking breath, doing brief body scans, and learning how emotions like shame show up physically. Along the way, we touch on why naming your experience matters, how shame thrives in secrecy and silence, and how community can loosen the grip of self-blame. If you're exploring complex PTSD recovery, trauma therapy, nervous system regulation, grounding, or the link between yoga and healing, you'll come away with clearer language and a steadier starting point. Send us Fan MailA corporate career, an NLP workshop, then a sudden shift into seeing spirit almost overnight. That's the path Jeanette Wilson shares with us, and it's as raw as it is fascinating: the fear, the praying, the need for reassurance, and the moment she's told she's here to be a healer and a teacher. We talk about what spiritual awakening actually feels like when it happens fast, and why learning to ask for help can be the first real act of strength. From there, we explore Jeanette's work in channelled healing and energy therapy, including how she stays conscious while guides work through her, and why “trying to fix” can pull us into ego rather than healing. She shares the principles behind high-vibration healing, the body's wisdom, and an unforgettable story of a young man walking again after paralysis, raising big questions about consciousness, the nervous system, and what we think is possible. We also get practical: why fear and anxiety keep the body stuck in fight or flight, how stillness and sensory attention can calm the system, and what Jeanette calls a “scared to sacred reset”. Plus, we talk emotional reprogramming, the Wayne Dyer orange teaching on triggers, and Jeanette's UK healing tour including events at the Harry Edwards Centre near Guildford, with details on where to find tickets. If this conversation sparks something in you, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find Balm to the Soul. Send us Fan MailYour brain can understand your trauma and still keep repeating it, because the real switchboard is your nervous system. Natasha Joy Price sits down with transformational coach and It's Pure Love founder Thayne Martin to unpack “experiential neuroscience” and why lasting emotional regulation comes from training the body through real experiences, not just insight. We get into triggers, anger, anxiety, and the moment your body decides “threat” before your mind can catch up.Thayne shares his personal story with disarming honesty, from childhood abuse and decades of depression, addiction, and rage, to the turning point that forced him to stop running. From there, we explore the idea that healing is a learned skill: breathing through a surge, choosing a better response, and building a new pattern your body can trust. He also describes a near-death experience after drowning, and the spiritual clarity he believes it brought about purpose, ego, intuition, and what it really means to live with love and light. We walk through Thayne's “equation of life and abundant happiness”, using simple maths as an emotional operating system: add what brings joy, subtract what does not serve, multiply intention through action, divide through reflection, and return to gratitude as the equal sign. You will also hear practical, sometimes brave exercises that create change fast, from using strangers' names to dancing out loud in public, plus how these tools translate into healthier workplace culture, psychological safety, and lower burnout. If you find this helpful, subscribe, share the episode with someone who needs a reset, and leave us a review. Send us Fan MailOne radio interview, a lost celebrity review, and a cheeky line that basically dares the BBC to give you a chance can change the direction of your whole life. I'm Natasha Joy Price, and I'm joined by author and publisher Lynette Allen, founder of Gather the Women Publishing, to unpack how she went from first-time nerves on BBC Radio 2 to creating collaborative books that bring women's voices to the page.We talk about Sister Circles and why women often find it easier to speak their truth when they're witnessed by other women. Lynette shares how an online circle during Covid turned into a book almost overnight when 34 women volunteered to write chapters, and why that hunger to write is not about being “a writer” but about having something real to say. We also dig into the craft side: how a good editor helps you find the gem in your story, move it forward, and let the meaning land without losing your voice. From there, we zoom out into storytelling across generations: the family memories we never think to ask about, the power of writing someone's words down while we still can, and the beautiful idea of a grimoire as a living book of wisdom, recipes, remedies and lived experience. Lynette also speaks candidly about reinvention, menopause, HRT, and what it means to have a whole second lifetime to create, travel, retrain, and start again at 50, 60, or even 70.We finish with what's next, including When Women Need Space and Unfiltered, a bold project about women's relationships with their bodies as they age, plus Lynette's simple daily practices for staying centred. Send us Fan MailFifteen minutes can be enough to shake your sense of self and that is exactly why people are paying attention to 5-MeO-DMT. I'm joined by Stephan Kirby, co-founder of the Mindscape Psychedelic Institute, to unpack what this psychedelic actually is, why many people call it Bufo, and why the ethical conversation matters just as much as the mystical one.We talk about the “god molecule” effect people report at a full-release dose: ego dissolution, a sudden drop-out of identity and story, and a return that can feel like waking up with fresh space around old habits. Stephan shares why the experience is often described as less visual than traditional DMT and more like pure consciousness, and how that can shift depression, anxiety, trauma patterns, and fear of death. We also explore why some people compare it to near-death experiences, and what it means to come back holding life a little more lightly.Safety is the thread running through everything. We get into trauma-informed psychedelic facilitation, proper screening, informed consent, medication considerations, and why a person should never be left unsupported when they are not aware of their surroundings. Stephan also explains why integration is the real work: bringing the insight into daily life through presence, breathwork, and practices that help the nervous system regulate, rather than chasing repeated peak experiences. If you're curious about psychedelic therapy, nervous system reset, somatic release, and the move from underground use towards research and clinical access, this conversation will give you a grounded place to start. Send us Fan MailYour life can look fine on paper and still feel frantic on the inside. We sit down with Oliveyah Fisch, coach and author behind the Spiritual Heartbeat movement, to talk about the missing ingredient many high-functioning people never learned to train: spiritual intelligence. Not as a lofty concept, but as a practical way to make decisions, lead yourself, and feel steady when everything around you speeds up.We explore how spiritual intelligence fits alongside body intelligence, emotional intelligence and intellect, and why relying on intellect alone can leave you exhausted and stuck in overthinking. Oliveyah breaks down two below-the-line patterns many of us live in without noticing: the “rush zone” where urgency, striving and anxiety take over, and the “danger zone” where we feel triggered, overwhelmed and reactive. From there, we move into the shift that changes everything: treating life as happening for you, not to you, and learning to clean up the language that quietly reinforces stress. The heart of the conversation is intuition. Oliveyah explains why intuition is not always comfortable, how to tell the difference between fear and guidance, and why real wisdom often arrives as just the next step, like a GPS. We also dig into the simplest practice we can all start today: eight minutes of stillness, daily, to meet yourself, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect to what you already know. Oliveyah also shares accessible ways to go deeper, including a free Spiritual Heartbeat assessment on her website and community-based support. If you want calmer confidence, better boundaries, and a more grounded kind of success, press play. Send us Fan MailSomeone tells you they are dying, you stay because leaving would make you a monster, and slowly your whole life becomes about keeping them calm. That is the kind of emotional trap we get into when empathy meets manipulation, and it is exactly what Saige Whitney joins me to talk through with honesty and clarity.Saige shares the real story behind starting her show, A Lights Out Narcissistic Podcast, after a relationship where her partner claimed cancer, kidney failure, and other severe illnesses that were not true. We unpack how narcissistic abuse can use big lies, victim narratives, and fear of abandonment to hook caring people, especially empaths and highly sensitive people who are wired to help. We explore the patterns that often show up early: intense trauma dumping, “I have nobody” loneliness scripts, gifts used to dodge accountability, and the subtle grind of being drained while you keep giving more. From there we get practical about boundaries. We talk about good girl syndrome, why saying “no” can feel terrifying, and how to build boundary muscle in small, repeatable steps that actually work in real life. We also go into gaslighting, what it sounds like, why it makes you question your memory, and how to come back to your own reality. We touch on the body's signals in toxic relationships, anger as a catalyst for leaving, and simple daily energy protection practices like grounding and setting an energetic force field so you stop absorbing what is not yours. If you want clearer signs of narcissistic manipulation, better emotional boundaries, and tools to protect your energy without hardening your heart, listen now. Send us Fan MailYour intuition isn't broken, it's just been talked over. I'm joined by intuitive guide, storyteller, and certified co-active life coach Dina Berrin to get honest about why so many of us second-guess ourselves, override our gut, and end up exhausted from performing a version of life that looks “right” but feels wrong. We dig into sacred tools like tarot, numerology, and charm readings, not as fortune-telling shortcuts, but as mirrors that reflect what we already know. Dina shares how she reads for patterns such as repeating numbers, colour symbolism, and the details your attention keeps landing on, then turns that insight into grounded self-development. We also explore the difference between using spiritual tools for healing versus using them as a crutch, plus how coaching questions can help you rewrite old scripts like “I'm a bad decision maker”.Dina also walks us through simple daily practices that keep her centred, including a short meditation using the phrase “just this”, EFT tapping for emotional regulation, and a quick night-time review of the card or charm she pulled that morning. Send us Fan MailLeading like you're meant to be “on” at the same level every day sounds disciplined, ambitious, even admirable. For a lot of women, it is also the fastest route to burnout. I'm joined by Lani Gonzales, a clinical hypnotherapist, former attorney, and subconscious performance expert, to name the uncomfortable truth out loud: women are not small men, and copying a masculine model of power can quietly disconnect us from joy, pleasure, and ourselves. We dig into what Lani calls the difference between operating from force and operating from power, then get practical about what power actually draws on. We talk about emotions as information rather than a problem to suppress, the body as a data source you can lead with, and intuition as rapid pattern intelligence rather than something “woo”. Lani also explains interoception and why tuning into internal signals can support clearer, faster decisions, especially for high achievers navigating leadership pressure. From there, we widen the lens to ethical leadership, compassion, and empathy in a workplace shaped by technology and AI, where treating people like machines simply does not hold up. We also explore Reiki and energy healing as a supportive foundation, while being honest about what creates lasting change: shifting subconscious patterns, healing old trauma responses, and changing behaviour, not just chasing a momentary reset. If any of this hits home, listen, share it with a friend who needs it, and subscribe. Send us Fan MailThe fastest way to change your life might be the slowest breath you take. Natasha Joy Price sits down with psychologist and author Dr Colleen Quinn to unpack Essence Merging, her new book on presence, love and the kind of connection that makes ordinary life feel sacred rather than rushed and numb. From Tantric “gaze with breath” to the idea that every moment can become a love lesson, we talk about what it really means to merge with the moment without losing yourself. Colleen shares the turning point that led her into breathwork: a prolonged pneumonia that became a near-death wake-up call, a stark look at legacy and relationships, and a surrendered prayer to be “loved in every moment”. From there we get practical, listener-friendly guidance on conscious integrative breathwork, why slow breathing helps the nervous system feel safe, and how focusing on inhale and exhale can quiet mental chatter. We also explore the overlap between breathwork, meditation and psychedelic therapy through the lens of the default mode network, neuroplasticity, stress response and emotional regulation. The conversation goes deeper into psychedelic-assisted healing and the importance of intention and integration. We discuss MDMA, psilocybin and ketamine, what current research suggests for PTSD, grief and addiction, and the difference between a hero's dose, a psycholytic dose and microdosing. We sit down to unpack what he's learned over 16 years as a raw foodist, and why he believes the biggest health upgrade isn't a new supplement or a perfect routine, but changing the fuel you put into your body.We dig into the ideas behind raw eating in plain language: energy as the body's currency, why low energy can look like brain fog, lack of motivation, and slow healing, and how digestion and absorption matter as much as what's on your plate. Axay shares his views on enzymes, “living” foods, and the alkaline conversation, plus how he thinks processed food and constant marketing push people towards weight gain and long-term dependence on pills. The most practical part is how to start. Send us Fan MailA planet that doesn't exist any more can still leave an imprint on the soul, and that's where this conversation begins. I'm joined by Emily Lewis (also known as Emily Liston) an Akashic Records specialist, galactic channel, energy healer, and spiritual mentor, to unpack the Maldek storyline and why it hits so hard for people who feel intense, ethical, mission-driven, and quietly exhausted by the pace of life on Earth. We talk through what “starseed” actually means in plain language, including how a soul can have lifetimes across star systems and dimensions, and why that can translate into feeling like an outsider in childhood or feeling “homesick” with no logical explanation. Emily shares her understanding of Maldek as a highly technology-driven civilisation where artificial intelligence advanced too quickly and contributed to planetary destruction, with fragments linked to the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. From there, we explore Maldek starseed traits: logic, ambition, privacy, grit, a desire to be of service, and the shadow side of time pressure and perfectionism. We also step into the Mars thread: colonisation tensions, Mars starseed intensity, and an environmental collapse theme that feels eerily relevant in our current moment. Then we bring it back to healing and integration: how Emily learned to channel through the Akashic Records, how past life regression can expand into galactic regression, what the Oversoul is, and how the divinity tablets modality aims to clear resistance and reconnect you to your original frequency. If you've ever wondered about your galactic origins, starseed awakening signs, or why AI ethics and spiritual evolution feel linked, you'll find plenty to sit with here. Send us Fan MailWhat happens when conventional medicine has no answers and the pain just keeps going? Scarlett Seebach shares the turning point that pushed her from endless appointments into deep research, Reiki healing, and eventually her own method, Astral Reiki, a practice she describes as transmitting life force energy through the astral body rather than the physical body.We explore human design as a bodygraph based system that acts like an instruction manual for how your energy works, not as a vague horoscope but as a practical way to live with more ease and alignment. Scarlett breaks down how Astral Reiki differs from traditional Reiki, why it can feel more intense than distance Reiki, and how conscious astral projection fits into the work. We also compare notes on theta states, the “creative void”, and how different healing modalities can be routes to the same underlying source of energy.Safety and energetic hygiene are a major focus too. Scarlett walks us through grounding and protection steps including crystal grids, connecting to creator energy, bringing in earth energy, calling on Archangel Michael, and cleansing with the violet flame. We also get into crystal healing from a fresh angle: less about memorising what each stone is for, and more about cleansing, charging, communicating, and collaborating with crystals as conscious allies. If you enjoy Reiki, astral projection, human design readings, crystal healing, spiritual protection, and grounded conversations about energy work, you will get a lot from this one. Send us Fan MailA former NASA computer scientist who raps about forgiveness, peace, and the mind might sound like a contradiction until you hear how intentional it is. We sit down with Jelani Clay, JClay, a spiritual rapper and spiritual teacher, to unpack what “spiritual rap” actually means: conscious hip hop designed to land as repeatable affirmations, the kind your brain replays long after the track ends.We get into why music can raise your vibration on its own, and how lyrics change the effect completely when you sing or rap along. Jelani shares how his worldview shifted through A Course in Miracles, why he resonates with channelled teachings, and how perception can turn life into either a heavy illusion or a more loving experience. Along the way, we talk about the creative process as a form of inner listening, including walking, meditation, and even taekwondo as a surprisingly effective way to clear stuck energy.Jelani also opens up about his albums I Am Nobody, I Am Someone and It Just Feels Good, plus a powerful period of spiritual activation involving daily meditation, light codes, and recording light language. The thread running through everything is practical spirituality: noticing thought patterns, loosening guilt and grudges, and trusting intuition step by step even when fear and “logic” try to talk you out of it.If you're interested in spiritual rap, conscious music for healing, raising consciousness, or using affirmations to support mental health, this conversation offers a grounded place to start. Send a textWhat if the story your body is telling began before you were born? We sit down with life coach and hypnotherapist Peter McLaughlin to trace a remarkable arc from a double diagnosis at forty-one to a two-decade practice helping people heal through intuition, regression, and the mind–body connection. Peter explains how emotions become biology, why epigenetic switches tilt under stress or calm, and how the right prompt can guide the subconscious straight to the moment a pattern began—whether in this life or another.Across the conversation, we ground big ideas in human moments: the jaw that grinds in sleep without permission, the spine a chiropractor aligns only for stored fear to pull it back, the client who could not board a plane until a wartime memory surfaced and released. We talk about free, guided hypnosis resources that make this work accessible, from inner child repair to past-life journeys, and why learning the felt-sense of safety reorients the nervous system more effectively than willpower ever could. Peter shares his daily practice of meeting spirit guides, the simple power of routine, walking in nature, yoga, and real sunlight for circadian and emotional health. We also widen the frame. Some realities don't fit the five-sense box, yet they steer our lives: thoughts that can't be weighed, observation changing outcomes, energy that moves before words. Rather than argue the metaphysics, we ask what helps. If conflict fuels growth, then challenges can be curriculum, not punishment. Regression can retrieve strengths as well as clear wounds; remembering a lifetime of healthy love trains you to recognise it now. The theme is agency through curiosity—ask better questions, follow what arises, and let humility keep the door open to what works.Listen to learn how to use intuitive prompts, hypnosis, and daily rituals to unwind long-held pain, shift stubborn habits, and reclaim patterns that serve you. Send a textWhat if a historic figure asked for your help—and you could prove it to yourself? We sit down with Dave Steward, co-founder of Atlantis Chakra Crystals and organiser of one of Suffolk's busiest holistic fairs, to explore how practical structure and grounded protection can open the door to extraordinary experiences. From closed development circles to a step-by-step rescue of Anne Boleyn's earthbound spirit, this conversation blends verifiable process with a human story of trust, courage, and completion.Dave explains how he builds three-room events that actually teach: a dedicated readers' space, a healing area, and rotating talks included in the ticket so newcomers learn the basics without fuss. We walk through his approach to safety—why circles are closed, why consistent seats matter, and how the Sword of Truth helps verify real guides. Then we follow the Tudor thread: past-life links as Mary Shelton and William Stafford, an on-site plan at Blickling Hall to meet a younger imprint of Anne, and a quiet crossing that later led to a guided meditation through Westminster Hall for a final act of dignity. Along the way, Dave maps soul contracts, monads, and the ways past-life companions reappear now, offering context for those uncanny “I know you” moments. If you've wondered why some spirits get stuck after sudden deaths, or how psychopomp work actually unfolds, you'll find thoughtful, experience-led answers here. We also keep it practical: daily protection, simple meditations, time in nature, and treating guides like family so support becomes a lived habit rather than a lofty idea. For locals, Dave shares details on the Kesgrave event and how to book an appointment at his shop for tailored guidance.Curious, sceptical, or somewhere in between—come listen, take what helps, and see what changes when you add clear boundaries to open-minded practice. Send a textWhat if the hardest part of healing isn't the pain itself, but the silence that surrounds it? We sit down with trauma-informed coach and energy healer Vivian Moyo to explore how invisibility takes root in families, how it shows up in our bodies, and how clear boundaries, daily practices, and courageous questions can transform that story. Vivian opens up about losing her mother in early childhood, growing up in Zimbabwe, and the long shadow cast when a family avoids its own history. Her new book, The Invisible Girl: Breaking The Silence Of Trauma, blends memoir with guided reflections that help you identify symptoms, build a support system, and take practical steps toward wellbeing.Across this conversation, we trace the difference between fixing others and caring for yourself first. Vivian shares the moment she chose self-respect over an on-and-off relationship, and how simple boundary lines—when to call, when to visit, what a relationship is and isn't—reclaimed her voice. We get specific about emotional boundaries for empaths, how journaling offloads absorbed feelings, and why meditation and breathwork regulate the nervous system better than willpower alone. We also unpack generational trauma: how addictions, abandonment, and emotional distance repeat across decades, and what it takes to interrupt those patterns before they pass to the next generation. For anyone navigating grief, depression, or the weight of family stories, this episode offers grounded tools and compassionate language. You'll learn how to recognise repeating patterns, design a support system that tells you the truth, and use energy hygiene to protect your presence with clients and loved ones. Send a textWhat if authenticity isn't a brand or a performance, but the steady courage to tell the truth—first to yourself, then to the world? We sit down with wellness advisor and fitness and nutrition expert Isabelle Daikeler to unpack how honesty, breath, and body awareness strip away the noise and reveal a life that feels like your own. From the quiet choice to pause before reacting to the radical act of putting down the metaphorical tennis racket, we explore how peace becomes addictive, reactivity fades, and boundaries begin to set themselves.Isabelle shows how the body flags misalignment long before the mind catches up: the tight jaw, the endless scrolling, the dread you carry to work, the way you disappear in relationships. Rather than chase complex systems, she brings us back to simple practices that work anywhere—ten-second breaths, gentle check-ins through the day, and small, honest adjustments that compound into change. We dig into the difference between defending yourself with rigid rules and allowing self-worth to guide clear, kind no's. We talk about reshaping inputs—choosing media that calms over content that riles—and why nourishing food, joyful movement, and nature's sounds are not luxuries but the maintenance of a steady nervous system. The conversation also stretches into curiosity as a solvent for shame. Treat your patterns like a new recipe: measure, taste, adjust, learn, without the sting of judgement. As you feel more and rationalise less, space opens. Options multiply. The ego stops running the show and returns to its role as a useful tool. In that space, you respond instead of react, and the future you create with each choice softens, brightens, and steadies. If you've been craving clarity, grounded self-respect, and rituals that actually stick, this is a warm, practical guide back to basics. If this sparked something, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review to help others find the show. Send a textWhat does it take for a hard-headed MIT engineer to become a full-time healer? For Brent Michael Phillips, it started with a brutal collapse: hundred-hour weeks, chronic pain that medicine couldn't solve, and a surgery that left his right arm paralysed. Then came a single session with a healer named Terry, a loud pop at the elbow, and immediate movement. The miracle sparked a bigger mission—could this be reverse engineered into a clear, teachable method? We dive into Brent's decade-long quest to decode what gifted practitioners do, translating intuition, energy work, and meditative states into “consciousness technology” anyone can learn. Brent explains why the subconscious runs the show, how to test and rewrite deep code, and why many classic manifesting tools feel like riding a horse on a motorway: nostalgic, not efficient. He shares how ADT brings precision to healing and results, and how health outcomes shift when we add mind-level interventions alongside conventional care for chronic issues. We also press into the data behind past-life memories, genetics as baseline software, and why you rarely need to chase metaphysical archives to change your life. The practical gold lands in micro-habits: send unconditional love for 30 seconds a day and clear your space at home, work, and in the car. Anchor them to your morning routine and let small, consistent moves compound into calmer rooms, clearer sessions, and better outcomes. If you've craved a grounded bridge between science and spirit, this conversation brings a blueprint: testable tools, everyday practices, and a way to treat consciousness with the same respect we give electricity—useful, scalable, and ready to power real change. Send us a textWhat if real healing is less about adding more and more techniques, and more about learning to listen so deeply that your body shows you the map? We sit down with trauma-informed bodyworker, psychic, and energy healer Cat Rowe to trace the path from Reiki roots to an insight-led practice that reads patterns in the soma and translates them into clarity. Cat shares how meditation sharpened her discernment, the uncanny “red panda” moment that proved the precision of embodied information, and why she views intuition as calm signal rather than noisy thought. The conversation goes beyond the mystical and grounds itself in science. We explore polyvagal theory and the vagus nerve, why co-regulation matters, and how safety enables integration. Cat explains how bliss can mask freeze, and offers practical ways to pace spiritual work so clients stay present, empowered, and able to act on insights. We talk timing and karma—how some lessons need to complete before clearing—and why the right intervention at the right moment can ripple through a web of lifetimes. We also tackle discernment in spiritual spaces: channeling, entities, and boundaries without fear-mongering. Cat treats difficult energies like difficult neighbours—acknowledge, set limits, stay resourced. Along the way, we celebrate nature as teacher. From ocean “light codes” to seal wardening and quiet moments of eye contact with a wild animal, awe returns as a daily practice. Our host shares a tangible outcome from a session—chronic hip pain lifting—and the lingering sensation that best sums up transformative work: lighter. If you're curious about how intuition, trauma science, and soulful ethics meet in real practice, this conversation offers both wonder and workable steps. Send us a textWhat if your symptoms are not random, but messages your body has been trying to deliver for years? We sit down with Dr Erin Hayford — naturopathic doctor and somatic experiencing practitioner — to explore how the nervous system stores unfinished stress and how tuning into sensation, imagery, and emotion can unlock real change. Instead of chasing every flare-up with a new fix, Erin shows how to listen for the belief or memory beneath the pain so the body can finally stand down from survival mode.Erin breaks down somatic experiencing in simple terms: ground, scan, describe the sensation precisely, then follow what arises. That shift from labels to felt detail turns down the analytical mind and invites deeper signals to surface. We talk about hip pain that vanished after recognising an old shock, why fight or flight blocks repair, and how recurrence often signals the story is still running even when the symptom was removed. Erin's own path from Crohn's disease to symptom-free living adds hard-won depth, showing how nutrition and herbs helped until mind-body work revealed the root.We also explore her “Sacred Illness” framework and community, a space that treats diagnosis as a doorway to meaning rather than a dead end. It is not anti-medicine; it is a both-and approach that honours treatment while uncovering why the body learned to protect in the first place. Practical takeaways include a future-vision practice: imagine your best life and notice the objections that arise, because those objections often point to what needs care next. By reframing illness as communication, we trade helplessness for agency and build a kinder relationship with the body.If this conversation sparks something, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review to help more people find it. Send us a textTwo worlds meet when we sit down with Bruce Randall, an AI strategist and Reiki master who has spent decades in both deep tech and deep meditation. The result is a rare, grounded look at how artificial intelligence can boost daily life and work while we stay steady, curious, and accurate. We break down what AI actually does behind the scenes, why prompts matter more than people think, and how “trust and verify” protects you from polished nonsense. Bruce unpacks how data choices shape outputs, shares hard-won lessons from enterprise AI and cloud transformations, and offers a simple rule for busy professionals: if it is important, check the source. We move from hype to practical value, showing how AI can nudge better habits, free up time, and build confidence, provided you keep a human in the loop. Then we zoom out to the fast-moving edges. What does realistic progress look like for robots at home versus surgical robots in theatres? How close are brain–computer interfaces, and what have early Neuralink trials taught us about signals, rejection, and control? We also look at drug discovery, where AI is compressing candidate selection from years to weeks, and what that could mean for patients and the people who care for them.Threaded through the tech is the inner toolkit: Reiki for awareness, meditation for clarity, and even ambient frequencies to reset the nervous system during a workday. Bruce describes how quiet practice sharpened his judgement and sparked his books, The AI Human Paradox and The Quantum Human Paradox, and why learning the basics of AI in two focused weeks can turn anxiety into advantage. If you care about using AI without losing yourself, this conversation is your field guide. Listen, take what serves you, and tell us your biggest insight. Send us a textWhen fear knocks, what do you do with it? We sit down with Veronika, a holistic transformational coach for women navigating breast cancer, to trace the moment a terrifying diagnosis turned into a clear vow: “I've got this.” From that pivot, she built a whole-person approach that pairs conventional oncology with nutrition, supplements, energy work, and daily mindset practices designed to steady the nervous system and support healing. We explore how language in the clinic can amplify anxiety and why learning to filter information, ask better questions, and prioritise calm becomes essential. Veronika shares the practical habits that helped her see faster-than-expected progress during chemotherapy: fresh juices, research-backed supplements, stress reduction, and visualisation focused on a healthy outcome. She opens up about the emotional “knots” formed by unprocessed experiences, and how Reiki and spiritual healing surfaced themes like unworthiness and old resentments—correlating with meaningful physical shifts. We also touch on lifestyle oncology's view that significant stress and trauma can act as initiators, making emotional processing and resilience part of risk reduction.Beyond remission, we tackle the most common thought: “What if it comes back?” Veronika offers tools to meet that fear without letting it run the day—reviewing home products to support hormones and lymphatics, reframing nutrition as loving choice rather than restriction, and mentally “programming” chemo for effectiveness while imagining protection from side effects. We highlight her Lotus Journey platform with guided meditations, practical guides, a free webinar on seven healing principles, and her book, Diary of a Soul Reborn. Together, we turn the focus to identity and self-love after treatment, honouring body changes while rebuilding a life aligned to values and purpose.Subscribe for more conversations that blend science, spirituality, and practical steps. On the Secret Witch Show today our guest is Nicola Humber. Nicola is the author of four transformational books, including Unbound Writing and the Abundant Author Playbook, and the founder of The Unbound Press, a soul-led publishing imprint for unbound women. After leaving her ‘proper' job in finance, she's now devoted to helping magical women shake off the ‘shoulds' and write the book their Unbound Self is calling them to share - so they can be their fullest, freest, most magnificent selves. In this episode we explore the healing power of storytelling and what it truly means to write from your soul. Nicola shares her perspective on writing as an initiatory path of unbinding - how it asks us to meet the fears of being too much, or not fitting in, resistance, and perfectionism that arise when we begin to express our witchy truth. We talk about navigating the voice of the Good Girl archetype, reclaiming our intuition and loving ourselves more deeply, and why our book is healing both for us and for others. This is a conversation about writing as a remedy, and learning to trust your voice as medicine. What You'll Learn from this Episode: Unbound writing is about listening to the call of our ‘Unbound' self. It's not about pushing or forcing words out, but attuning to a deeper voice within that already knows what wants to be expressed Fear is part of the writing process - it will always show up when we start writing from our truth, and part of the practice is learning to write with the fear, not waiting for it to go away We don't have to have it all ‘figured out' - one of the myths Nicola busts is that we don't need to have total clarity before we begin. In her words, “we write our way into the book” - it reveals itself as we go The Good Girl archetype is often the one writing our first draft - many women unconsciously write from a place of people-pleasing, but unbound writing invites a more truthful voice to come forward We're not just writing a book through the process - we're becoming more of who we are. The writing journey itself is an initiation - an unbinding from the layers that have kept our voice hidden The most potent writing comes when we let ourselves be seen - when we stop hiding behind polished perfection and share the messy, raw parts of our story, it becomes medicine - for us, and for others.
