Complex PTSD Unpacked with Cindy Payne

Balm To The Soul

Send us Fan MailPerfectionism can look like ambition from the outside, but inside it can feel like a nonstop attempt to stay safe. Natasha Joy Price sits down with therapist, speaker, and Rooted Counselling and Wellness founder Cindy Payne to unpack complex PTSD, the kind of trauma that grows in relationships and disrupted attachment rather than one isolated incident. We talk about why this “relational trauma” can leave you second-guessing yourself, struggling with boundaries, and stuck in patterns like people pleasing and fawning, even when you're a high achiever who seems to have it all together. We also get practical about healing. Cindy explains why many trauma survivors live “neck up”, and how somatic therapy and body-centred practices help reconnect mind and body safely. We discuss micro steps such as noticing constriction versus expansion, tracking breath, doing brief body scans, and learning how emotions like shame show up physically. Along the way, we touch on why naming your experience matters, how shame thrives in secrecy and silence, and how community can loosen the grip of self-blame. If you're exploring complex PTSD recovery, trauma therapy, nervous system regulation, grounding, or the link between yoga and healing, you'll come away with clearer language and a steadier starting point. Send us Fan MailA corporate career, an NLP workshop, then a sudden shift into seeing spirit almost overnight. That's the path Jeanette Wilson shares with us, and it's as raw as it is fascinating: the fear, the praying, the need for reassurance, and the moment she's told she's here to be a healer and a teacher. We talk about what spiritual awakening actually feels like when it happens fast, and why learning to ask for help can be the first real act of strength. From there, we explore Jeanette's work in channelled healing and energy therapy, including how she stays conscious while guides work through her, and why “trying to fix” can pull us into ego rather than healing. She shares the principles behind high-vibration healing, the body's wisdom, and an unforgettable story of a young man walking again after paralysis, raising big questions about consciousness, the nervous system, and what we think is possible. We also get practical: why fear and anxiety keep the body stuck in fight or flight, how stillness and sensory attention can calm the system, and what Jeanette calls a “scared to sacred reset”. Plus, we talk emotional reprogramming, the Wayne Dyer orange teaching on triggers, and Jeanette's UK healing tour including events at the Harry Edwards Centre near Guildford, with details on where to find tickets. If this conversation sparks something in you, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find Balm to the Soul. Send us Fan MailYour brain can understand your trauma and still keep repeating it, because the real switchboard is your nervous system. Natasha Joy Price sits down with transformational coach and It's Pure Love founder Thayne Martin to unpack “experiential neuroscience” and why lasting emotional regulation comes from training the body through real experiences, not just insight. We get into triggers, anger, anxiety, and the moment your body decides “threat” before your mind can catch up.Thayne shares his personal story with disarming honesty, from childhood abuse and decades of depression, addiction, and rage, to the turning point that forced him to stop running. From there, we explore the idea that healing is a learned skill: breathing through a surge, choosing a better response, and building a new pattern your body can trust. He also describes a near-death experience after drowning, and the spiritual clarity he believes it brought about purpose, ego, intuition, and what it really means to live with love and light. We walk through Thayne's “equation of life and abundant happiness”, using simple maths as an emotional operating system: add what brings joy, subtract what does not serve, multiply intention through action, divide through reflection, and return to gratitude as the equal sign. You will also hear practical, sometimes brave exercises that create change fast, from using strangers' names to dancing out loud in public, plus how these tools translate into healthier workplace culture, psychological safety, and lower burnout. If you find this helpful, subscribe, share the episode with someone who needs a reset, and leave us a review. I'm Natasha Joy Price, and I'm joined by author and publisher Lynette Allen, founder of Gather the Women Publishing, to unpack how she went from first-time nerves on BBC Radio 2 to creating collaborative books that bring women's voices to the page.We talk about Sister Circles and why women often find it easier to speak their truth when they're witnessed by other women. Lynette shares how an online circle during Covid turned into a book almost overnight when 34 women volunteered to write chapters, and why that hunger to write is not about being “a writer” but about having something real to say. We also dig into the craft side: how a good editor helps you find the gem in your story, move it forward, and let the meaning land without losing your voice. From there, we zoom out into storytelling across generations: the family memories we never think to ask about, the power of writing someone's words down while we still can, and the beautiful idea of a grimoire as a living book of wisdom, recipes, remedies and lived experience. Lynette also speaks candidly about reinvention, menopause, HRT, and what it means to have a whole second lifetime to create, travel, retrain, and start again at 50, 60, or even 70.We finish with what's next, including When Women Need Space and Unfiltered, a bold project about women's relationships with their bodies as they age, plus Lynette's simple daily practices for staying centred. I'm joined by Stephan Kirby, co-founder of the Mindscape Psychedelic Institute, to unpack what this psychedelic actually is, why many people call it Bufo, and why the ethical conversation matters just as much as the mystical one.We talk about the “god molecule” effect people report at a full-release dose: ego dissolution, a sudden drop-out of identity and story, and a return that can feel like waking up with fresh space around old habits. Stephan shares why the experience is often described as less visual than traditional DMT and more like pure consciousness, and how that can shift depression, anxiety, trauma patterns, and fear of death. We also explore why some people compare it to near-death experiences, and what it means to come back holding life a little more lightly.Safety is the thread running through everything. We get into trauma-informed psychedelic facilitation, proper screening, informed consent, medication considerations, and why a person should never be left unsupported when they are not aware of their surroundings. Stephan also explains why integration is the real work: bringing the insight into daily life through presence, breathwork, and practices that help the nervous system regulate, rather than chasing repeated peak experiences. If you're curious about psychedelic therapy, nervous system reset, somatic release, and the move from underground use towards research and clinical access, this conversation will give you a grounded place to start. Send us Fan MailYour life can look fine on paper and still feel frantic on the inside. We sit down with Oliveyah Fisch, coach and author behind the Spiritual Heartbeat movement, to talk about the missing ingredient many high-functioning people never learned to train: spiritual intelligence. Not as a lofty concept, but as a practical way to make decisions, lead yourself, and feel steady when everything around you speeds up.We explore how spiritual intelligence fits alongside body intelligence, emotional intelligence and intellect, and why relying on intellect alone can leave you exhausted and stuck in overthinking. Oliveyah breaks down two below-the-line patterns many of us live in without noticing: the “rush zone” where urgency, striving and anxiety take over, and the “danger zone” where we feel triggered, overwhelmed and reactive. From there, we move into the shift that changes everything: treating life as happening for you, not to you, and learning to clean up the language that quietly reinforces stress. The heart of the conversation is intuition. Oliveyah explains why intuition is not always comfortable, how to tell the difference between fear and guidance, and why real wisdom often arrives as just the next step, like a GPS. We also dig into the simplest practice we can all start today: eight minutes of stillness, daily, to meet yourself, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect to what you already know. Oliveyah also shares accessible ways to go deeper, including a free Spiritual Heartbeat assessment on her website and community-based support. If you want calmer confidence, better boundaries, and a more grounded kind of success, press play. That is the kind of emotional trap we get into when empathy meets manipulation, and it is exactly what Saige Whitney joins me to talk through with honesty and clarity.Saige shares the real story behind starting her show, A Lights Out Narcissistic Podcast, after a relationship where her partner claimed cancer, kidney failure, and other severe illnesses that were not true. We unpack how narcissistic abuse can use big lies, victim narratives, and fear of abandonment to hook caring people, especially empaths and highly sensitive people who are wired to help. We explore the patterns that often show up early: intense trauma dumping, “I have nobody” loneliness scripts, gifts used to dodge accountability, and the subtle grind of being drained while you keep giving more. From there we get practical about boundaries. We talk about good girl syndrome, why saying “no” can feel terrifying, and how to build boundary muscle in small, repeatable steps that actually work in real life. We also go into gaslighting, what it sounds like, why it makes you question your memory, and how to come back to your own reality. We touch on the body's signals in toxic relationships, anger as a catalyst for leaving, and simple daily energy protection practices like grounding and setting an energetic force field so you stop absorbing what is not yours. If you want clearer signs of narcissistic manipulation, better emotional boundaries, and tools to protect your energy without hardening your heart, listen now. I'm joined by Lani Gonzales, a clinical hypnotherapist, former attorney, and subconscious performance expert, to name the uncomfortable truth out loud: women are not small men, and copying a masculine model of power can quietly disconnect us from joy, pleasure, and ourselves. We dig into what Lani calls the difference between operating from force and operating from power, then get practical about what power actually draws on. We talk about emotions as information rather than a problem to suppress, the body as a data source you can lead with, and intuition as rapid pattern intelligence rather than something “woo”. Lani also explains interoception and why tuning into internal signals can support clearer, faster decisions, especially for high achievers navigating leadership pressure. From there, we widen the lens to ethical leadership, compassion, and empathy in a workplace shaped by technology and AI, where treating people like machines simply does not hold up. Natasha Joy Price sits down with psychologist and author Dr Colleen Quinn to unpack Essence Merging, her new book on presence, love and the kind of connection that makes ordinary life feel sacred rather than rushed and numb. From Tantric “gaze with breath” to the idea that every moment can become a love lesson, we talk about what it really means to merge with the moment without losing yourself. Colleen shares the turning point that led her into breathwork: a prolonged pneumonia that became a near-death wake-up call, a stark look at legacy and relationships, and a surrendered prayer to be “loved in every moment”. From there we get practical, listener-friendly guidance on conscious integrative breathwork, why slow breathing helps the nervous system feel safe, and how focusing on inhale and exhale can quiet mental chatter. We also explore the overlap between breathwork, meditation and psychedelic therapy through the lens of the default mode network, neuroplasticity, stress response and emotional regulation. The conversation goes deeper into psychedelic-assisted healing and the importance of intention and integration. We discuss MDMA, psilocybin and ketamine, what current research suggests for PTSD, grief and addiction, and the difference between a hero's dose, a psycholytic dose and microdosing. Send us Fan MailA planet that doesn't exist any more can still leave an imprint on the soul, and that's where this conversation begins. I'm joined by Emily Lewis (also known as Emily Liston) an Akashic Records specialist, galactic channel, energy healer, and spiritual mentor, to unpack the Maldek storyline and why it hits so hard for people who feel intense, ethical, mission-driven, and quietly exhausted by the pace of life on Earth. We talk through what “starseed” actually means in plain language, including how a soul can have lifetimes across star systems and dimensions, and why that can translate into feeling like an outsider in childhood or feeling “homesick” with no logical explanation. Emily shares her understanding of Maldek as a highly technology-driven civilisation where artificial intelligence advanced too quickly and contributed to planetary destruction, with fragments linked to the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. From there, we explore Maldek starseed traits: logic, ambition, privacy, grit, a desire to be of service, and the shadow side of time pressure and perfectionism. We also step into the Mars thread: colonisation tensions, Mars starseed intensity, and an environmental collapse theme that feels eerily relevant in our current moment. Then we bring it back to healing and integration: how Emily learned to channel through the Akashic Records, how past life regression can expand into galactic regression, what the Oversoul is, and how the divinity tablets modality aims to clear resistance and reconnect you to your original frequency. If you've ever wondered about your galactic origins, starseed awakening signs, or why AI ethics and spiritual evolution feel linked, you'll find plenty to sit with here. Send us Fan MailWhat happens when conventional medicine has no answers and the pain just keeps going? Scarlett Seebach shares the turning point that pushed her from endless appointments into deep research, Reiki healing, and eventually her own method, Astral Reiki, a practice she describes as transmitting life force energy through the astral body rather than the physical body.We explore human design as a bodygraph based system that acts like an instruction manual for how your energy works, not as a vague horoscope but as a practical way to live with more ease and alignment. Scarlett breaks down how Astral Reiki differs from traditional Reiki, why it can feel more intense than distance Reiki, and how conscious astral projection fits into the work. We also compare notes on theta states, the “creative void”, and how different healing modalities can be routes to the same underlying source of energy.Safety and energetic hygiene are a major focus too. Send us Fan MailA former NASA computer scientist who raps about forgiveness, peace, and the mind might sound like a contradiction until you hear how intentional it is. We sit down with Jelani Clay, JClay, a spiritual rapper and spiritual teacher, to unpack what “spiritual rap” actually means: conscious hip hop designed to land as repeatable affirmations, the kind your brain replays long after the track ends.We get into why music can raise your vibration on its own, and how lyrics change the effect completely when you sing or rap along. Jelani shares how his worldview shifted through A Course in Miracles, why he resonates with channelled teachings, and how perception can turn life into either a heavy illusion or a more loving experience. Along the way, we talk about the creative process as a form of inner listening, including walking, meditation, and even taekwondo as a surprisingly effective way to clear stuck energy.Jelani also opens up about his albums I Am Nobody, I Am Someone and It Just Feels Good, plus a powerful period of spiritual activation involving daily meditation, light codes, and recording light language. The thread running through everything is practical spirituality: noticing thought patterns, loosening guilt and grudges, and trusting intuition step by step even when fear and “logic” try to talk you out of it.If you're interested in spiritual rap, conscious music for healing, raising consciousness, or using affirmations to support mental health, this conversation offers a grounded place to start. Send a textWhat if the story your body is telling began before you were born? We sit down with life coach and hypnotherapist Peter McLaughlin to trace a remarkable arc from a double diagnosis at forty-one to a two-decade practice helping people heal through intuition, regression, and the mind–body connection. Peter explains how emotions become biology, why epigenetic switches tilt under stress or calm, and how the right prompt can guide the subconscious straight to the moment a pattern began—whether in this life or another.Across the conversation, we ground big ideas in human moments: the jaw that grinds in sleep without permission, the spine a chiropractor aligns only for stored fear to pull it back, the client who could not board a plane until a wartime memory surfaced and released. We talk about free, guided hypnosis resources that make this work accessible, from inner child repair to past-life journeys, and why learning the felt-sense of safety reorients the nervous system more effectively than willpower ever could. Peter shares his daily practice of meeting spirit guides, the simple power of routine, walking in nature, yoga, and real sunlight for circadian and emotional health. We also widen the frame. Some realities don't fit the five-sense box, yet they steer our lives: thoughts that can't be weighed, observation changing outcomes, energy that moves before words. Rather than argue the metaphysics, we ask what helps. If conflict fuels growth, then challenges can be curriculum, not punishment. Regression can retrieve strengths as well as clear wounds; remembering a lifetime of healthy love trains you to recognise it now. The theme is agency through curiosity—ask better questions, follow what arises, and let humility keep the door open to what works.Listen to learn how to use intuitive prompts, hypnosis, and daily rituals to unwind long-held pain, shift stubborn habits, and reclaim patterns that serve you. We sit down with Dave Steward, co-founder of Atlantis Chakra Crystals and organiser of one of Suffolk's busiest holistic fairs, to explore how practical structure and grounded protection can open the door to extraordinary experiences. From closed development circles to a step-by-step rescue of Anne Boleyn's earthbound spirit, this conversation blends verifiable process with a human story of trust, courage, and completion.Dave explains how he builds three-room events that actually teach: a dedicated readers' space, a healing area, and rotating talks included in the ticket so newcomers learn the basics without fuss. We walk through his approach to safety—why circles are closed, why consistent seats matter, and how the Sword of Truth helps verify real guides. Then we follow the Tudor thread: past-life links as Mary Shelton and William Stafford, an on-site plan at Blickling Hall to meet a younger imprint of Anne, and a quiet crossing that later led to a guided meditation through Westminster Hall for a final act of dignity. Along the way, Dave maps soul contracts, monads, and the ways past-life companions reappear now, offering context for those uncanny “I know you” moments. If you've wondered why some spirits get stuck after sudden deaths, or how psychopomp work actually unfolds, you'll find thoughtful, experience-led answers here. We also keep it practical: daily protection, simple meditations, time in nature, and treating guides like family so support becomes a lived habit rather than a lofty idea. For locals, Dave shares details on the Kesgrave event and how to book an appointment at his shop for tailored guidance.Curious, sceptical, or somewhere in between—come listen, take what helps, and see what changes when you add clear boundaries to open-minded practice. We sit down with trauma-informed coach and energy healer Vivian Moyo to explore how invisibility takes root in families, how it shows up in our bodies, and how clear boundaries, daily practices, and courageous questions can transform that story. Vivian opens up about losing her mother in early childhood, growing up in Zimbabwe, and the long shadow cast when a family avoids its own history. Her new book, The Invisible Girl: Breaking The Silence Of Trauma, blends memoir with guided reflections that help you identify symptoms, build a support system, and take practical steps toward wellbeing.Across this conversation, we trace the difference between fixing others and caring for yourself first. Vivian shares the moment she chose self-respect over an on-and-off relationship, and how simple boundary lines—when to call, when to visit, what a relationship is and isn't—reclaimed her voice. We get specific about emotional boundaries for empaths, how journaling offloads absorbed feelings, and why meditation and breathwork regulate the nervous system better than willpower alone. We also unpack generational trauma: how addictions, abandonment, and emotional distance repeat across decades, and what it takes to interrupt those patterns before they pass to the next generation. For anyone navigating grief, depression, or the weight of family stories, this episode offers grounded tools and compassionate language. You'll learn how to recognise repeating patterns, design a support system that tells you the truth, and use energy hygiene to protect your presence with clients and loved ones. We sit down with wellness advisor and fitness and nutrition expert Isabelle Daikeler to unpack how honesty, breath, and body awareness strip away the noise and reveal a life that feels like your own. From the quiet choice to pause before reacting to the radical act of putting down the metaphorical tennis racket, we explore how peace becomes addictive, reactivity fades, and boundaries begin to set themselves.Isabelle shows how the body flags misalignment long before the mind catches up: the tight jaw, the endless scrolling, the dread you carry to work, the way you disappear in relationships. Rather than chase complex systems, she brings us back to simple practices that work anywhere—ten-second breaths, gentle check-ins through the day, and small, honest adjustments that compound into change. We dig into the difference between defending yourself with rigid rules and allowing self-worth to guide clear, kind no's. We talk about reshaping inputs—choosing media that calms over content that riles—and why nourishing food, joyful movement, and nature's sounds are not luxuries but the maintenance of a steady nervous system. The conversation also stretches into curiosity as a solvent for shame. Treat your patterns like a new recipe: measure, taste, adjust, learn, without the sting of judgement. As you feel more and rationalise less, space opens. Options multiply. The ego stops running the show and returns to its role as a useful tool. In that space, you respond instead of react, and the future you create with each choice softens, brightens, and steadies. If you've been craving clarity, grounded self-respect, and rituals that actually stick, this is a warm, practical guide back to basics. If this sparked something, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review to help others find the show. Reverse Engineering Miracles: How A Tech Founder Built A Method For Healing And Awakening with Brent Michael Phillips

Send a textWhat does it take for a hard-headed MIT engineer to become a full-time healer? For Brent Michael Phillips, it started with a brutal collapse: hundred-hour weeks, chronic pain that medicine couldn't solve, and a surgery that left his right arm paralysed. Then came a single session with a healer named Terry, a loud pop at the elbow, and immediate movement. The miracle sparked a bigger mission—could this be reverse engineered into a clear, teachable method? We dive into Brent's decade-long quest to decode what gifted practitioners do, translating intuition, energy work, and meditative states into “consciousness technology” anyone can learn. Brent explains why the subconscious runs the show, how to test and rewrite deep code, and why many classic manifesting tools feel like riding a horse on a motorway: nostalgic, not efficient. He shares how ADT brings precision to healing and results, and how health outcomes shift when we add mind-level interventions alongside conventional care for chronic issues. We also press into the data behind past-life memories, genetics as baseline software, and why you rarely need to chase metaphysical archives to change your life. The practical gold lands in micro-habits: send unconditional love for 30 seconds a day and clear your space at home, work, and in the car. Anchor them to your morning routine and let small, consistent moves compound into calmer rooms, clearer sessions, and better outcomes. If you've craved a grounded bridge between science and spirit, this conversation brings a blueprint: testable tools, everyday practices, and a way to treat consciousness with the same respect we give electricity—useful, scalable, and ready to power real change. Cat shares how meditation sharpened her discernment, the uncanny “red panda” moment that proved the precision of embodied information, and why she views intuition as calm signal rather than noisy thought. The conversation goes beyond the mystical and grounds itself in science. We explore polyvagal theory and the vagus nerve, why co-regulation matters, and how safety enables integration. We sit down with Dr Erin Hayford — naturopathic doctor and somatic experiencing practitioner — to explore how the nervous system stores unfinished stress and how tuning into sensation, imagery, and emotion can unlock real change. Instead of chasing every flare-up with a new fix, Erin shows how to listen for the belief or memory beneath the pain so the body can finally stand down from survival mode.Erin breaks down somatic experiencing in simple terms: ground, scan, describe the sensation precisely, then follow what arises. That shift from labels to felt detail turns down the analytical mind and invites deeper signals to surface. We talk about hip pain that vanished after recognising an old shock, why fight or flight blocks repair, and how recurrence often signals the story is still running even when the symptom was removed. Erin's own path from Crohn's disease to symptom-free living adds hard-won depth, showing how nutrition and herbs helped until mind-body work revealed the root.We also explore her “Sacred Illness” framework and community, a space that treats diagnosis as a doorway to meaning rather than a dead end. It is not anti-medicine; it is a both-and approach that honours treatment while uncovering why the body learned to protect in the first place. Practical takeaways include a future-vision practice: imagine your best life and notice the objections that arise, because those objections often point to what needs care next. By reframing illness as communication, we trade helplessness for agency and build a kinder relationship with the body.If this conversation sparks something, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review to help more people find it. Bruce unpacks how data choices shape outputs, shares hard-won lessons from enterprise AI and cloud transformations, and offers a simple rule for busy professionals: if it is important, check the source. We move from hype to practical value, showing how AI can nudge better habits, free up time, and build confidence, provided you keep a human in the loop. Then we zoom out to the fast-moving edges. What does realistic progress look like for robots at home versus surgical robots in theatres? How close are brain–computer interfaces, and what have early Neuralink trials taught us about signals, rejection, and control? We also look at drug discovery, where AI is compressing candidate selection from years to weeks, and what that could mean for patients and the people who care for them.Threaded through the tech is the inner toolkit: Reiki for awareness, meditation for clarity, and even ambient frequencies to reset the nervous system during a workday. Bruce describes how quiet practice sharpened his judgement and sparked his books, The AI Human Paradox and The Quantum Human Paradox, and why learning the basics of AI in two focused weeks can turn anxiety into advantage. If you care about using AI without losing yourself, this conversation is your field guide. Veronika shares the practical habits that helped her see faster-than-expected progress during chemotherapy: fresh juices, research-backed supplements, stress reduction, and visualisation focused on a healthy outcome. She opens up about the emotional “knots” formed by unprocessed experiences, and how Reiki and spiritual healing surfaced themes like unworthiness and old resentments—correlating with meaningful physical shifts. We also touch on lifestyle oncology's view that significant stress and trauma can act as initiators, making emotional processing and resilience part of risk reduction.Beyond remission, we tackle the most common thought: “What if it comes back?” Veronika offers tools to meet that fear without letting it run the day—reviewing home products to support hormones and lymphatics, reframing nutrition as loving choice rather than restriction, and mentally “programming” chemo for effectiveness while imagining protection from side effects. We sit down with clinical nutritionist and chiropractic rehabilitation specialist Mark Morningstar to unpack how posture is controlled by the brain's “autopilot,” why long hours of sitting shift that autopilot into a slouch, and how small, realistic habits can rewire the system for lasting change. This is a practical, science-led tour of functional neurology, movement, and breath that anyone with a desk, a phone and a busy life can use.Mark explains the energy economics most of us overlook: holding yourself up against gravity is one of the body's biggest energy bills. When alignment collapses, the brain diverts even more energy to stay upright, leaving less for immune, digestive and hormonal balance. We talk through research on standing versus sitting, the surprising fat-loss implications of being on your feet, and why a short stand or stroll after meals raises energy expenditure and stabilises you through the afternoon. Then we get tactical. You will learn dual-tasking drills that teach the nervous system a new default—think book-on-head walks, gentle ball tosses while standing tall, and simple counting challenges that distract the conscious mind so your autopilot records better posture. We sit down with coach and author Eddie Truong to unpack the hidden mechanics of phone compulsion, the shame high achievers carry when discipline doesn't work, and the path to a calmer, more focused life without giving up ambition. Eddie's insights cut through the noise with a blend of neuroscience, behavioural psychology, and lived experience that makes complex ideas immediately useful.Eddie shares how variable ratio rewards—think slot machines in your pocket—keep you checking notifications, and why we get a bigger dopamine rush from anticipation than from the reward itself. For driven professionals, that loop often collides with identity: if you can master a career, why not your device? Understanding the system disarms guilt and opens the door to smarter strategies: reduce triggering cues, design friction into your digital defaults, and replace avoidance with skills that regulate attention and emotion. The conversation turns personal as Eddie recounts moving to the United States on a full scholarship, the isolation that followed, and the coping strategy of overachievement that hid anxiety and depression. From that journey came ERA Coaching—Empowerment, Rediscovery, Awakening—a framework that helps clients reclaim agency, uncover the real motives behind their success, and align impact with inner peace. We dive into practical tools like powerful questions that lead you to your own answers, acknowledgement that reflects strengths you can't see, and a reframe of meditation as time with self rather than another task to win. Eddie also names the “spiritual ego” that grades your growth and shows how forgiveness dissolves that pressure so real change can stick. If you're searching for help with phone addiction, burnout, overthinking, or sustainable productivity, you'll find clear steps and fresh perspective here. Send us a textWhat if the day you're dreading is only a lens you can swap out? We sit down with integrative well-being therapist Jamie Lerner to unpack the art of reframing—using deliberate thought and feeling to change how your day unfolds without changing the facts. From turning your commute into free time to anticipating positive interactions at work, Jamie shows how pre-paving creates momentum and how small mental shifts produce real-world ease.We also explore the practice of allowing: dropping judgement, focusing on your own alignment, and letting others make their choices without turning their path into your project. Jamie shares how early life shaped her fierce self-connection, why self-responsibility clears resentment, and how trusting intuition becomes a reliable guide. The conversation moves into story work—how outdated, attention-grabbing victim scripts keep us stuck, why 80% of many personal narratives are no longer true, and how to edit them so they reflect who you are now.Along the way, you'll hear about Jamie's book The Ever Loving Essence of You, written in a creative flow that felt channeled, and the practical services she offers, including a texting-based option called The Quickie that helps clients see they knew their answers all along. Expect clear steps: identify the story you repeat, notice how it feels, soften the language, fact-check the details, and test a five-day experiment of reframing your mornings. If you're ready to trade drama for agency and dread for choice, this is your map to a lighter, more authentic day.Subscribe for more conversations on mindset, energy, and practical tools for well-being, share this episode with a friend who needs a reframe, and leave a review to tell us your biggest takeaway.www.jamie-lerner.comJamie Lerner - Integrative Well-Being TherapistMusic from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/sky-toes/featherlightLicense code: ZTXJPK8BA5WMLKSF My new novel The Red Magus has recently been published in conjunction with the Unbound Press. Send us a textPain doesn't always start where it hurts. We sit down with massage therapist and myofascial release specialist Peter Stuart to explore fascia—the collagen-rich connective tissue that wraps muscles, nerves, organs, and bone—and why researchers now see it as a bodywide sensory network. Peter breaks down how gentle, sustained touch can signal the nervous system to soften long‑held tension, and why this light approach often outperforms forceful techniques for people living with chronic pain.Across the conversation, we look at scars and adhesions that quietly tether tissue and create puzzling symptoms years after surgery or injury. Peter explains how pelvic balance underpins healthy movement, how desk posture teaches the brain to brace, and why small, frequent movement keeps fascial layers hydrated and gliding as we age. We also dive into TMJ and teeth grinding, tracing the overlap between biomechanics, anxiety, and sleep, and where counselling or EMDR can support lasting change. The heart of Peter's practice is whole‑person care. He screens for life stress, past trauma, nutrition, and sleep because pain rarely lives in one place. That lens includes emerging research on birth trauma, ADHD, and generational stress, along with emotional release through tissue work—a space where the body's structure and story meet. Send us a textWhat if compassion isn't only an emotion but the creative intelligence behind how reality takes shape? We sit down with returning guest Barbara With—co‑founder of Conflict Revolution, award‑winning author, peace activist, and long‑time psychic channel—to map a surprising model of the universe and a very practical path to inner and outer peace. Drawing on decades of channelling Albert Einstein, Barbara shares a redefinition of compassion as a “fifth force” that organises the other fundamental forces, compiles the “math” of your life at the Earth's core, aligns you to true north, and carries a deep memory of oneness. From there, we follow the gravitational wave that projects our programming to the surface “lens” where bodies and time appear, then cycles back like a spinning string. That might sound cosmic, yet the application is refreshingly everyday: emotion fuels manifestation, intuition speaks as sound, and intellect is the executor that can either cooperate or block the next wise step. When intellect says no to intuition, conflict blooms. When intellect serves intuition, coherence spreads through choices large and small—rest when asked, speak when needed, decline what drains, and watch reality respond.Barbara brings the framework down to ground with Conflict Revolution, a method for transforming friction without projection. Name the pattern, find its mirror inside, make amends where it belongs, and let the outer shape change. We talk about sound and vibration as tools for clarity, how to hold presence in hot moments, and why micro‑level alignment can scale to cultural and even global peace. Along the way, we touch on afterlife insights, the Earth as a living field, and the discipline of trusting your first true signal. If you're curious about blending spirituality with practical psychology, or you're ready to trade reactivity for reliable inner guidance, this conversation offers a clear map and compassionate tools. No gatekeeping, no mystical fog—just clear steps, honest stories, and grounded methods you can try right away.Dr Davis reframes the Akashic Records as an energetic storehouse of past, present, and future possibilities, accessible through simple, structured practices. We dig into five practical entry points—meditation, intention, visualisation, and a prayer process among them—and explore why structure is liberating for beginners. She challenges the biggest myth in spiritual development: you don't need to be “psychic” to connect. What you need is intention, clarity, and a container that turns insight into action. Our conversation shifts to ancestral lineage healing with a refreshingly human perspective. Honouring ancestors can be as simple as water, song, and family photos, and profound healing can occur through self-reflection without reliving old trauma. We also talk openly about the misalignment many high‑achieving women feel when they've built the “right” life, but their spirit wants something braver. Expect practical takeaways: how to trust guidance, how to set clean intentions that energy can follow, and daily rituals—like gratitude and visualisation—that raise your baseline and steady your choices. If you're curious about the Akashic Records, drawn to heal your lineage, or simply looking for a kinder way to align success with soul, this conversation offers both language and tools. We sit down with returning guests Rocio Aquino and Angel Orengo, authors of The Orchid, The Secret Code of Modern Goddesses, to explore how storytelling becomes a practical bridge to healing—especially for people who shut down when advice sounds prescriptive. Their award-nominated book keeps readers turning pages, then quietly cracks open deeper questions about identity, power, and the choice to live from abundance rather than fear.We unpack the ripple effects they're seeing in the wild: men reading to understand women and leaving with a gentler stance; a working man moved to tears by a character's generosity; corporate leaders realising that “feminine” power—presence, receptivity, and care—belongs in boardrooms. We go beyond inspiration and into mechanics, talking through the emotional body, how unprocessed pain drives daily decisions, and why closing old loops makes clarity surge. Along the way, we touch the science of heart–brain coherence, drawing on emerging research that validates what language has held for centuries: when thinking and feeling align, purpose snaps into focus and action becomes lighter, braver, and more precise. There's news too. Rocio and Angel are adapting The Orchid for the stage, crafting a two-hour live experience for audiences who might not pick up a book but will gladly lose themselves in theatre. They tease an expanded universe—teachers, backstories, and a long-overdue lens on men's healing—so relationships can evolve as individuals do. We also witness a raw account of reconciliation across decades, modelling how to speak for a younger self, release blame, and create real closure without theatrics. Lindsay unpacks how an out-of-body experience amplified her intuitive mediumship and shaped her work, bridging reproductive science with spirit-led insight, including her unique connection with “spirit babies”—unborn souls whose messages often illuminate timing, trauma, and next steps for hopeful parents. We dig into why “infertility” is an unhelpful label and how reframing to “fertility obstacles” opens room for progress. Expect a grounded blend of tools: hormone literacy, mind–body research, hypnotherapy, and NLP alongside chakra balancing, ancestral healing, and nervous system regulation. Lindsay explains why so many future children feel “higher-chakra” in nature—throat, third eye, crown—while many parents are still processing lower-chakra themes like safety, boundaries, and self-trust. We talk pre-birth plans, astrology, and numerology for timing, and the very human question of why some conceive easily while others walk a longer path—without shame, hierarchy, or one-size-fits-all fixes.Discernment runs throughout: how to recognise deceptive frequencies in wellness spaces, why your body is the best lie detector, and how to curate media and community inputs that leave you clearer and calmer. We also touch crystals, energetic protection, and starseed perspectives, not as spectacle but as prompts to choose rituals that anchor your day. That's the quiet revolution at the heart of our conversation with Ryan Stanley—a former corporate leader who traded spreadsheets for singing bowls and built a community where frequency becomes a practical tool for clarity, rest, and creative flow.We trace Ryan's turning point from intense, high-performing work to a sabbatical that led him to purchase a yoga studio and train teachers in both movement and sound. He arrived a sceptic of crystal singing bowls and left a convert after a samadhi-like experience that rewired his assumptions. From there, we unpack why certain tones can calm the nervous system, how repeated sequences signal safety and reduce pain, and where brainwave entrainment and vagus nerve pathways might explain the deep rest so many report. We also look at the energetic lens—notes linked with energy centres, bowls infused with alchemical materials like ocean gold, abalone, and greenheart—and how personal resonance often decides your “bowl mate” long before logic does. You'll hear the difference between Tibetan metal bowls and alchemy crystal bowls—one inviting reverent stillness, the other sparking creativity and synthesis—and why matching the instrument to your current state matters. Ryan shares how he curates bowl sets from hundreds of unique pieces, supporting healers, vocalists, massage therapists, and even finance professionals who reach for a bowl between decisions to reset and refocus. Along the way, we talk about the rise of sound baths in search trends and studios worldwide, and the simple courage it takes to integrate a five-minute practice into office life without apologising for it.Stay to the end for a live demo of ocean-themed bowls and a reminder that practice can be playful. Stacey shares how a single extraction on the feeling she named “sad” quieted relentless mental chatter and set her on a path from crisis to clarity. She then breaks down the FIX Code architecture—Fear, Intuitive, eXtraction, plus the “code” you assign to your core feeling—and why precision naming matters more than long narratives. The conversation moves from personal breakthroughs to community impact. Stacey explains how clearing “angry” translated into order, productivity, and even unexpected savings as the frantic urge to compensate fell away. We explore how bereavement groups grew organically, why “FIX Code kids” handle conflict and self‑expression with ease, and how practitioners use the method as a targeted add‑on when clients stall in analysis or spiral into anxiety. Stacey also addresses pacing: some people clear a “junk drawer” code in one session, while others prefer steady progress with short, focused extractions that build self-awareness and momentum. We dive into origins as well. Send us a textWhat can a traditional Thai village teach us about modern wellness and business success? Nuttha Goutier's remarkable journey provides an answer to this question through lived experience rather than theory.Born in a remote Thai village with no electricity or modern amenities, Nuttha launched her first business at age eight, selling coffee and hot chocolate at the local market. This early entrepreneurship instilled a powerful belief in her abilities that would shape her future. The village's collective approach to life—where neighbors naturally gathered to build houses, harvest crops, and care for the sick without being asked—formed the foundation of her business philosophy. When Nuttha witnessed her grandfather's recovery from a stroke through traditional herbal treatments and massage after hospital care had limited success, her passion for natural healing was ignited. This experience led her through various beauty and wellness ventures in Thailand before eventually bringing her to Canada, where the cultural "coldness" inspired her to create a warm, immersive space that would transport people to Thailand without boarding a plane. With less than a thousand dollars but unlimited determination, Nuttha established Sabai Thai Spa through an inspiring system of trades—lawyers, artists, and web developers exchanged their services for massages. Her vision went beyond transactions; she created a sensory experience that reconnects people with their natural selves while fostering community among staff and clients alike. After 20 years of learning "through the school of hard knocks," Nuttha has expanded into franchising to share her proven business model. Her approach to wellness is refreshingly straightforward: preventative self-care should be scheduled like important meetings, not saved for special occasions. "If you don't have good health, nothing else matters," she reminds us, echoing wisdom from her village upbringing.Start your day like Nuttha —with brief meditation, yoga, and expressing gratitude. Rewiring Your Mind: Neuroscience Meets Spiritual Awakening with Dr Amy Albright

Send us a textDr. Amy Albright's journey from atheist neuroscience student to pioneer in the field of consciousness transformation began with an unexpected spiritual awakening at age 18. This profound experience launched her on a path to explore the intersection of brain science and spiritual alignment—a quest that would eventually lead to groundbreaking work helping people access their highest potential through advanced neurofeedback technology. At Holon, the organization she co-founded with Dr. Drew Pierson, Dr. Albright has created what she calls a "laboratory temple"—a space where cutting-edge neuroscience meets sacred healing practices. Using medical-grade EEG technology, they measure thousands of brain data points simultaneously, identifying not just problems but inherent gifts and untapped abilities. "If we can measure it and name it," she explains, "we know how to help you change it."The results are remarkable. Participants often experience up to 40% change in brain function within just five days, with benefits continuing to develop for months as new neural connections grow. Through a process that looks like playing a video game with your mind, the brain—not the conscious mind—receives immediate feedback on how well it's performing the desired functions. This direct brain training helps people reduce anxiety, improve focus, access altered states of consciousness, and even enhance natural abilities like clairvoyance or healing. What makes Dr. Albright's approach revolutionary is her philosophical framework. She challenges the conventional psychotherapeutic model suggesting we can only achieve marginal improvements through years of work. Instead, she maintains that "we're on the precipice of a miracle at any given moment" and that "radical transformation is available without more suffering." This perspective stems from understanding ourselves as connected to something greater—capable of healing and transformation when we align with our true nature.Ready to explore your brain's untapped potential? Send us a textHow does channelling Albert Einstein connect to world peace? Barbara With, international peace activist and psychic channel, takes us on a remarkable journey from rock star dreams to cosmic revelations that could transform our world.Barbara's channelling journey began unexpectedly. After twenty years touring as a musician, she discovered her intuitive gifts when her hands seemed to "take over" while writing a letter, producing wisdom far beyond her conscious thoughts. This led to channelling famous figures including Princess Diana and ultimately Albert Einstein, who has remained her primary guide for decades.Through Einstein, Barbara received profound scientific theories, including the concept of compassion as "the fifth fundamental force of the universe" and a unified field theory that posits Earth's core operates like a black hole. Initially skeptical of her own channelled information, Barbara found validation when presenting these concepts at the Science of Consciousness Conference, where scientists embraced ideas that had come through her decades earlier. The heart of Barbara's work is Conflict Revolution—a process teaching people to process emotions regeneratively without getting caught in trauma narratives. This approach emphasizes emotional mastery, the effective use of intellect and intuition, and self-responsibility. The power lies in the ripple effect: as we heal internally, our external reality naturally transforms. One powerful example Barbara shares is how resolving a personal conflict coincided with an unexpectedly positive interaction with a previously unfriendly waitress.Barbara's message offers profound hope: if enough people take responsibility for their inner state and align with compassion, global transformation becomes possible. Despite our divisive world, she remains optimistic, noting growing receptivity, especially among younger generations. Ready to join the compassion revolution? As somatic coach Majo Torreli reveals in this eye-opening conversation, we've been approaching healing backward—focusing almost exclusively on our thoughts while neglecting the identity stored within our bodies.Traditional therapy keeps us "from the neck up," offering valuable insights but often missing the physical dimension where our deepest patterns reside. When triggered, our bodies literally time-travel back to past traumas, recreating the exact nervous system state we experienced years or even decades ago. This explains why intellectual understanding alone rarely creates lasting change—our biology is still responding to old programming.Somatic work bridges this gap by treating the body as the primary storyteller in our healing journey. Through intentional movement, breathwork, and embodiment practices, we can release energy that's been stuck for years, often manifesting as persistent anxiety or doubt that conventional approaches can't touch. Unlike regular exercise, somatic practices combine physical experience with cognitive awareness, creating a complete healing circuit. This whole-body approach also revolutionizes manifestation. Rather than just visualizing desired outcomes, somatic rehearsal allows you to literally embody your future self in the present moment. By experiencing the felt sensations of who you're becoming, you create an energetic blueprint that makes that reality increasingly inevitable.Ready to discover what your body has been trying to tell you? "It is truly a great cosmic paradox that one of the best teachers in all of life turns out to be death. No person or situation could ever teach you as much as death has to teach you. While someone could tell you that you are not your body, death shows you. While someone could remind you of the insignificance of the things that you cling to, death takes them all away in a second. While people can teach you that men and women of all races are equal and that there is no difference between the rich and the poor, death instantly makes us all the same.Death changes everything in a flash. That's the reality of the situation. If all these things can be changed in an instant, then maybe they aren't so real after all" - The Untethered Soul, Michael J. Singer // While we all wish to create our lives with joy and poetic romanticism - there are often harsh and cruel truths that we cannot blind ourselves from. Life is a series of ups and downs, highs and lows, deaths with rebirths, and deaths without them.  In my 23rd year, I've witnessed more death than ever before. And what it has done, above all of the grief and loss and trying to make sense of it, is made me feel immense gratitude for the preciousness of what I have, who I have, and what is real.In the throes of grief, we often find ourselves grappling with the unpredictability of life and the preciousness of each moment. In this episode, I share my experience with losing loved ones and watching those I love lose theirs. How do you make sense of any of it? What can it teach you? What does it show you?Attempting to give a voice to those disorienting moments is challenging in navigating the labyrinth of loss, but in as much honesty as I can - in this episode, I try. And we come to find, trying - to define the undefinable, to go on with honor and gratitude after those we love are no longer here -Trying is all we can ever do.----- There may not be an episode next week!!
