Anthony is taking over this week with three big, heavy games! In an all-brain-burning, all-puzzle-euro special, Anthony takes a look at three big games he's been playing lately, including the behemoths of Vinhos Deluxe and The Gallerist from Vital Lacerda and Eagle Gryphon Games, and the smaller, yet wonderfully innovative Tramways from Alban Viard.  Anthony will walk through what he likes and doesn't like about each of the three games and their solo variants, while Jason asks questions and wonders at theming, questionable components, and play time.  If you're a fan of big heavy euros and like to play them solo, or have been wondering how the solo modes pan out in some of the biggest games released in the last couple of years, this episode is for you. 

Manhattan Project: Energy Empire This episode has our hosts joined by Special Guest David, owner of Time Well Spent Games. After a brief intro of his gaming history, the weekly game recap begins. David mentions his most recent plays of Adrenaline, Jeff and Zach both bring up Food Chain Magnate and Mint Works!, and Adrian brings up the rear with his plays of Vinhos Deluxe and Lisboa. Jeff gives us a colorful rundown of his latest Blood Bowl game in the Blood Minute, and then they dive into News and Kickstarter. If you've ever been to the races, you may have seen a race where one of the horses goes off slowly. He doesn't stumble out of the gate; rather, he lollygags, taking in the sights, smelling the fresh cut of the infield, letting the pack get a dozen or so lengths ahead for the first part of the race. After a bit of this our boy decides to kick it into gear so he can see what all the fuss is about at the front of the pack. With luck he gets there before the race is done. Well, this is kinda what we do in episode 98. We kick things off with one of our new-ish segments, which isn't fine-tuned to our usual perfection (ahem). But we soon catch up and start plowing through the field, challenging for the lead until the end. You can tell us if we've won or not.
