Earl invites his esteemed guest, Sandy Williams, to engage in a brief discussion regarding the financial aspects of the Milwaukee Bucks team and its recent transformation. Jeff Bezos has informed the Washington Post of his intention to oversee the editorial content as part of his efforts to assume control over the free press. Sandy reflects on how the Washington Post played a pivotal role in uncovering the Watergate scandal, which ultimately led to Richard Nixon's resignation from the presidency. Back in 1955, the Milwaukee River really stank because folks were tossing waste into it. Then in 1972, the Clean Air and Water Act was introduced to tackle the problem. Fast forward ten years, and the rivers were looking much better! People are calling in to share their thoughts on what's really happening in our government, challenging the misleading idea behind Trump's "paper pushers" comment about who's running our government programs these days. The Earl Ingram Show is a part of the Civic Media radio network and airs Monday through Friday from 8-10 am across the state. Subscribe to the podcast to be sure not to miss out on a single episode! Trance Formation of America with Cathy O'Brien

November 5th, 2024 the proverbial hourglass flipped, as did my iconic plexiglass US Capital hourglass in a monuMental display of freedom being restored to We the People. Under MK Ultra mind control Wizard of Oz programming, I had been conditioned that when the hourglass flipped, such as the one Dick Cheney kept on his Pentagon office desk, that my life was on the line and my time was about to run out- just as it meant to Dorthy when the wicked witch flipped the hourglass. This do or die programming was frequently accessed during the years I was forced to work during the Bush/Reagan Administration.  In keeping with Oz theme program, perpeTraitors of my abuse claimed they were UNreachable- over the Rainbow in another dimension. When Mark rescued my daughter and me from the Wash DC human trafficking swamp in 1988, a supportive spook friend gave him the iconic US Capital hourglass complete with rainbow. “Keep this displayed upside down as a symbol of time running out on the New World Order until we all achieve victory in restoring Constitutional values of freedom and justice for all,” she said. “I know what this means to Cathy and her daughter.  We'll flip the hourglass on their abusers instead. When we win- and we will- flip it right side up once and for all!”Mark nor I are affiliated with any political party knowing the true difference is between those who support the New World Order slave society agenda and those who support freedom. This particular spook was of Kennedy lineage. Like in all families, there were different points of view. Mark often spoke with high regard for RFK Jr. in particular. Mark agreed with his environmental views back in the mid-80s Riverkeeper/Waterkeeper days. When I voiced outrage over Byrd's so-called Clean Air and Water Act that only lined his pockets, Mark assured me good people were looking out for the environment… like RFK Jr. When Mark first rescued Kelly and me I did not know good people even existed in the world. Mark assured me they are by far the majority, often bringing them to my attention so I could gain eyes to see. From 1988 until his passing in 2017, Mark and I spoke out together on mind control and healing from it. We witnessed people waking up on a global scale to face the reality that we share this planet with a dark cabal who are not like us and do not like us. Mark and I were elated in 2016 when so many of us were awake and aware that we overrode the rigged electronic algorithm in voting machines to elect a President that was not Hillary Clinton and her New World Order. We each had individual cause to find encouragement in President Trump due to his long history of open opposition to drug and human trafficking and support of Constitutional values. When President Trump was elected in 2016, Mark proudly flipped our iconic US Capital hourglass. As he dusted it off and flipped it right side up, tears of long awaited relief slid down his face.Mark passed away in 2017, not knowing I had to flip our US Capital hourglass upside down again 2020 when elections and freedom were stolen from We the People. With tears sliding down my face, I held the vision that humanity would wake up from mind control masked as a virus to reclaim their freedom stronger than ever before. Knowledge is our defense against mind control and I was more determined than ever to carry Mark's and my shared life's purpose forward to raise awareness.  As the US Capital hourglass gathered dust over the next four long years, I continued to speak out knowing abSOULutely that humanity's strength of spirit and infinite power of love would eventually win.For the full transcript, visit Cathy's website here!

...in which we stride out from Waterhead in the company of ecologist and Save Windermere campaigner Matt Staniek. In the vibrant watermeadows that flank the River Rothay we dig into local lad Matt's early life – where hedgehogs were nursed in the family home and Matt took nature walks with his grandmother. Fast-forwarding to the car crash that broke his neck, we learn about Matt's recuperative trips to Borrans Park, where the north shores of Windermere became a place of healing. Delving into the science of sewage, we consider the contributions that farming and private treatment plants make to nutrient levels in Windermere, dwarfed by the release – legal and illegal – of sewage by United Utilities. Subjecting Matt to our quickfire questions, we hear about his love of Side Pike and Windermere's Homeground; of the wonders of unpolluted becks; and of the Viking burial he imagines as a send-off, alongside the bronze toilet epitaph he wants erected outside UU's Windermere office. Detailing how sewage could be banished from Windermere for good, we ask Matt what he does on days off... and when his remarkable campaign will come to an end. Municipal managers or business directors could soon be held personally liable for failure to deliver quality water to residents. This if proposed changes to the National Water Act and the Water Services Act are passed into law. The acts would also allow Water and Sanitation Minister Senzo Mchunu to intervene in municipalities that are failing to address water services challenges. To further discuss this Elvis Presslin spoke to Department of Water and Sanitation's Director for Legislation, Contracts and International Agreements, Mapula Khuduga

A remarkable new law has just been passed that will open a channel to financial compensation for people exposed to toxic water at the Camp Lejeune Marine Corps base in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Those exposed to the toxic water developed serious health problems, including many cancers. Before going to law school, attorney Clay Hodges was an English instructor at Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville. He spent several years teaching US Marines, their spouses, children, and other dependents. He also taught classes directly on the Marine Corps base at Camp Lejeune, so he is very familiar with Camp Lejeune and the Jacksonville area. In August 2022, President Joe Biden signed the new bill that created a federal cause of action related to toxic water at Camp Lejeune between 1953 and 1987. In today's podcast, attorney Hodges reviews certain parts of the bill, unpacks the language, and dives into the details of the exciting new legislation called the Camp Lejune Justice Act of 2022.  Stay tuned to hear the details of the recently legislated Camp Lejune water act. Show highlights The period between 1953 and 1987 is the most important detail of the Camp Lejeune bill. Attorney Hodges explains who might have a valid case.  What do we know about the contamination of the water at Camp Lejeune? Some of the toxic chemicals found in the water supply at Camp Lejeune. The chemicals found in the drinking water at Camp Lejeune are extremely harmful to human life. Extended exposure to the chemicals in the Camp Lejeune drinking water has been linked to birth defects, various cancers, and other major health problems. As far as we know, the water at Camp Lejeune is now safe to drink. You have only two years in which to submit an administrative petition or file a lawsuit against the federal government if you think you have a claim under the new legislation. Under the new legislation, the exclusive jurisdiction for these cases will be the Federal Court in the Eastern District of North Carolina. Family members of deceased people who qualify under the new law can claim compensation for the wrongful death of the deceased person. Attorney Hodges explains why the new law is so extraordinary. Civilizations have always depended on water. It's no surprise, then, that laws pertaining to water and water governance have been around for thousands of years. All of that experience shows how difficult it is to govern water well. Climate change compounds these challenges. In this episode of ClimateReady, we look at multiple scales of water law through the example of a single river basin — from local allocation issues to national policies to international conventions. We are joined by Dr. Emma Carmody, an environmental lawyer for the Environmental Defenders Office of New South Wales and an expert in governance for the Murray-Darling Basin in Australia. Emma also lends her expertise as a legal advisor for the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands. We discuss Australia's influential Water Act, the need to adapt policies in light of climate change, and the role of broader international agreements in driving local and national environmental policy. Following the main interview, we have a “Postcard from the Future” sent by Alan Hesse, a cartoonist, freelance conservationist, and creator of the upcoming “Polo the Bear” comic on climate change. Alan draws attention to the important and often undervalued relationship between science and the arts. You can find out more about Emma's work with EDO in the Murray-Darling at http://bit.ly/edo-nsw or https://www.edonsw.org.au. Balancing the Demands on Our Scarce Water Resources (Part 2 Q&A)

Alberta continues to experience rapid economic growth, particularly in the southern part of the province. The demands of that growth on the available water supply are becoming exceedingly difficult to manage. Public demands for new housing sub-divisions, commercial, agricultural and industrial development all require water. These competing demands have become even more prevalent now that most river basins in Southern Alberta are closed to the additional use of water. Yet, economic growth is dependant upon available water supplies, so balancing the demands on this resource is essential. Kathleen Murphy will discuss how we balance the demand with the available water supplies. She will discuss the tools in legislation for the movement of water within basins, including the water allocation transfer process and the South Saskatchewan River Basin Management Plan. Speaker: Kathleen Murphy P. Eng. Kathleen Murphy is the Water Approvals Team Leader for Alberta Environment in Lethbridge, Alberta. As a Professional Engineer with Alberta Environment for 25 years she leads the team that is responsible for the management of all water licenses and approvals under the Water Act in the Oldman, Milk and South Saskatchewan River Basins. Her team also manages the approvals for municipal drinking water and waste water systems for Southern Alberta under the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act. Moderator: Alderman Barbara Lacey M.D. DATE: Thursday, May 29, 2008 TIME: Noon – 1:30 p.m. LOCATION: Country Kitchen Catering (Lower level of The Keg) COST: $10.00 (includes lunch)
