The Carey Nieuwhof Leadership Podcast: Lead Like Never Before
Theologian and church planter Dom Ruso offers lessons from church planting in Montreal, one of the most secular environments in North America, and how to reach a very difficult culture. He talks about the lack of theological training churches are facing, why we're probably not ready for real revival, and how to reach people most people think are unreachable.
People with physical or emotional needs seem to be more willing or ready to turn to God, but people who have everything or have been able to solve their problems in and of themselves many times have no real reason to turn to God. They are seemingly satisfied and have no noticeable need. How does God reach the unreachables?
In this session, R. Kenner French interviews Bob Bluhm—one of America's top asset protection attorneys—about how entrepreneurs can safeguard their wealth. Bob explains that business success requires both offense (making money) and defense (protecting money). Most entrepreneurs focus only on offense and end up vulnerable to lawsuits, taxes, and poor structuring—risks that can wipe out decades of hard work in a single legal battle.Bob begins by outlining the three pillars of asset protection: tax reduction, estate planning, and lawsuit protection. While tax and estate planning are crucial, the talk focuses on lawsuits—specifically how entities like LLCs, corporations, and partnerships can either protect you or fail you entirely. He highlights that LLCs are not created equal, and the state, structure, members, and documentation determine whether an LLC truly protects assets or collapses under legal scrutiny. He emphasizes privacy as the first line of defense, showing how privacy trusts, privacy LLCs, and land trusts make your wealth invisible to predators. Since plaintiff attorneys run asset searches to determine if suing you is worth it, appearing “broke on paper” dramatically reduces the chances of opportunistic or frivolous lawsuits. Privacy, in short, prevents you from becoming a target. The second line of defense is building a strong asset protection structure—using properly designed LLCs, holding companies, family limited partnerships, and sometimes land trusts. Bob stresses that real protection requires separating business and personal assets, avoiding single-member LLC weaknesses, never putting all properties in one LLC, and maintaining layered entities that frustrate plaintiff attorneys. A properly built structure often causes lawyers to drop the case entirely. Finally, the third line of defense is the corporate veil. Bob warns that in more than 50% of lawsuits, courts pierce the veil of weak LLCs—usually because of commingling funds, missing records, lack of minutes, missing agreements, or using cheap DIY templates. He explains that only well-documented, well-maintained, professionally structured entities hold up in court. Bob concludes by reminding entrepreneurs that true asset protection brings peace of mind, financial security, and freedom from fear—and he offers his team's help for anyone serious about safeguarding their wealth.Takeaways• Asset protection is crucial for safeguarding hard-earned wealth.• Lawsuit protection is a key component of asset protection.• Privacy is the first line of defense against frivolous lawsuits.• Not all LLCs provide the same level of protection.• Properly structured LLCs can lower taxes and protect assets.• The corporate veil is essential for shielding personal assets.• Maintaining separate records and accounts is vital to protect the corporate veil.• Frivolous lawsuits can happen to anyone, regardless of wrongdoing.• A strong defensive structure can deter potential lawsuits.• Consulting with a professional is essential for effective asset protection.Sound Bites• The first line of defense is privacy• You want to have enough privacy• All LLCs are not the sameListen & Subscribe for More:
Segment 1 • Conflict is universal—but Scripture calls us to reconciliation, not mere peacekeeping. • The real issue isn't the other person's behavior; it's the heart. • True biblical reconciliation begins with self-examination—owning your part before God. Segment 2 • Conflict isn't caused by personalities—it's fueled by idolatrous desires that demand control, comfort, or respect. • Even good desires become sinful when they replace God as the highest priority. • Real peace comes from surrendering our sinful desires and letting Christ rule the heart. Segment 3 • Repentance isn't a one-time event—it's the daily rhythm of the Christian life. • True repentance means more than “I'm sorry”; it's a Spirit-led change of direction. • Without repentance, conflict festers; with it, relationships are restored stronger than before. Segment 4 • Forgiveness is the final step to true reconciliation—it mirrors God's grace toward us. • To forgive repeatedly takes faith, but remembering how much God has forgiven you makes it possible. • Forgiveness frees you from the prison of resentment and rebuilds trust in God's justice. ___ Thanks for listening! Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. And today's shout-out goes to Cory Baron from North Oaks, MN. Cory, thank you for standing with us through Project23. Your commitment is helping others step out of darkness and into the light. This one's for you. Our text today is Mark 5:1-5: They came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gerasenes. And when Jesus had stepped out of the boat, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit. He lived among the tombs. And no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain, for he had often been bound with shackles and chains, but he wrenched the chains apart, and he broke the shackles in pieces. No one had the strength to subdue him. Night and day among the tombs and on the mountains he was always crying out and cutting himself with stones. — Mark 5:1-5 Jesus and his disciples land in Gentile territory—on the far side of the sea. And the moment they step out of the boat, they're met by a man. But not just any man. He's a strange man who lives among the dead. He's naked. Bleeding. Tormented. Possessed by a legion of demons. (A legion was about 6,000—so this was a case of extreme demonization.) We read that no one could bind him. Not with ropes. Not even with chains. He had legion-like strength—and a soul consumed by suffering. So he lived alone. Crying out. Cutting himself. Unreachable. Unrestrained. Unhealed. This is what evil does. When we give ourselves over to it, evil isolates. It dehumanizes. It pulls us away from people—and pushes us further from peace. But notice—Jesus went out of his way to reach this far-out man. He crossed a violent sea to reach a violent man in a foreign land. To reach an outcast, everyone else had given up on. Jesus doesn't move away from the broken. He moves toward them. Maybe today you feel like this man—alone, tormented, ashamed. Or maybe you've written someone off, thinking they're too far gone. You're wrong. No one is too far from Jesus—not you, not them. Because Jesus can reach anyone, anywhere, at any time. Today, if you've drifted—come back to Jesus, the one who came for you. And if you've given up on someone—don't. Pray that God would send someone who represents Him to move close. Or ask Him if that someone is you. #TheDaily #Mark5 #JesusHeals #NoOneTooFarGone #FreedomInChrist #ComeBackToJesus ASK THIS: What does this man's condition reveal about the power of evil? How does Jesus' arrival in this scene reflect His character and mission? Have you ever felt unreachable—or believed someone else was? What would it look like for Jesus to step into that place today? DO THIS: Think of one person (maybe it's even you) who seems beyond hope—and pray specifically for Jesus to move toward them in power, just as He did for the man among the tombs. PRAY THIS: Jesus, thank you for stepping into places no one else would. Help me believe you can reach anyone—including me. And help me not to give up on those who still need your touch. Amen. PLAY THIS: "Rescue" by Lauren Daigle.
What if there were a simple way to deliver an electronic charge into difficult-to-reach spaces, cauterizing soft tissue and making it easier to flush out? By doing so, we could effectively eliminate microbes hiding in constricted lateral and accessory canals. The good news is that with the introduction of a new technology we can do just that. This innovative device seamlessly integrates with the Root ZX3 apex locator, requiring no additional time or space—yet offering a major breakthrough in root canal therapy. Joining us today to discuss this technology is Dr. Chafic Safi. Dr. Safi completed his postgraduate residency in Endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania in 2015, where he also earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology. He lives and practices in Montreal, Canada.

Dr. Ewen Cameron wanted to win a Nobel Prize for his work in psychiatry. He never got one. He died of a heart attack while climbing a mountain in the Adirondacks in 1967. So we don't have access to Cameron's thoughts on his own legacy. But we do have his son, Duncan Cameron. In the final installment of “Madness," Amory and Ben sit down with Duncan and explore the shocking ways his father's methods are still being used today. "Madness: The Secret Mission for Mind Control and the People Who Paid the Price," an Endless Thread series in 5 parts, unravels the shocking history of CIA-funded mind-control experiments. How do you help people who isolate themselves? "Hikikomori" is a worldwide phenomena--where young men (usually ages 18 to 25) isolate themselves. They tend to talk to no one and not have jobs. In Japan, there are 1,200,000 people like this, and there are many in other nations, including the U.S. These people don't have goals and they don't have relationships. Can they be helped? It takes a lot of work, but popular Catholic Bishop Fulton Sheen, and professional terrorist, and kidnapper-negotiator, Chris Voss, appear to have found a way. If someone you love is in this situation, and you'd like to help, but you don't know how, this might be an answer. For more information, look into:* The William George Agency for Children's Services;* EverGreen Meadow Academy;* Boys Republic;* The Menniger Clinic;* Yellowbrick;* and Exposure =Therapy.Note: I'm not endorsing any of the above. In this episode, I talk about a new project I am undertaking, and it involves reaching for and impossible, at least up to now, goal. This is what we humans do. Or so it seems. We spend much time reaching out for the unknown, the never done. Also, I give a pre-introduction to a book by Gegory Boyd, which I have not completed yet, and I try to anticipate where it might be going. The Book is titled, "Inspired Imperfection".

November 5th, 2024 the proverbial hourglass flipped, as did my iconic plexiglass US Capital hourglass in a monuMental display of freedom being restored to We the People. Under MK Ultra mind control Wizard of Oz programming, I had been conditioned that when the hourglass flipped, such as the one Dick Cheney kept on his Pentagon office desk, that my life was on the line and my time was about to run out- just as it meant to Dorthy when the wicked witch flipped the hourglass. This do or die programming was frequently accessed during the years I was forced to work during the Bush/Reagan Administration. In keeping with Oz theme program, perpeTraitors of my abuse claimed they were UNreachable- over the Rainbow in another dimension. When Mark rescued my daughter and me from the Wash DC human trafficking swamp in 1988, a supportive spook friend gave him the iconic US Capital hourglass complete with rainbow. “Keep this displayed upside down as a symbol of time running out on the New World Order until we all achieve victory in restoring Constitutional values of freedom and justice for all,” she said. “I know what this means to Cathy and her daughter. We'll flip the hourglass on their abusers instead. When we win- and we will- flip it right side up once and for all!”Mark nor I are affiliated with any political party knowing the true difference is between those who support the New World Order slave society agenda and those who support freedom. This particular spook was of Kennedy lineage. Like in all families, there were different points of view. Mark often spoke with high regard for RFK Jr. in particular. Mark agreed with his environmental views back in the mid-80s Riverkeeper/Waterkeeper days. When I voiced outrage over Byrd's so-called Clean Air and Water Act that only lined his pockets, Mark assured me good people were looking out for the environment… like RFK Jr. When Mark first rescued Kelly and me I did not know good people even existed in the world. Mark assured me they are by far the majority, often bringing them to my attention so I could gain eyes to see. From 1988 until his passing in 2017, Mark and I spoke out together on mind control and healing from it. We witnessed people waking up on a global scale to face the reality that we share this planet with a dark cabal who are not like us and do not like us. Mark and I were elated in 2016 when so many of us were awake and aware that we overrode the rigged electronic algorithm in voting machines to elect a President that was not Hillary Clinton and her New World Order. We each had individual cause to find encouragement in President Trump due to his long history of open opposition to drug and human trafficking and support of Constitutional values. When President Trump was elected in 2016, Mark proudly flipped our iconic US Capital hourglass. As he dusted it off and flipped it right side up, tears of long awaited relief slid down his face.Mark passed away in 2017, not knowing I had to flip our US Capital hourglass upside down again 2020 when elections and freedom were stolen from We the People. With tears sliding down my face, I held the vision that humanity would wake up from mind control masked as a virus to reclaim their freedom stronger than ever before. Knowledge is our defense against mind control and I was more determined than ever to carry Mark's and my shared life's purpose forward to raise awareness. As the US Capital hourglass gathered dust over the next four long years, I continued to speak out knowing abSOULutely that humanity's strength of spirit and infinite power of love would eventually win.For the full transcript, visit Cathy's website here!

[Content Warning]: Child sexual abuse, incestToday, Jan is joined by Aleesha Barlow, a sur-thrivivor of child abuse and the origin story of the Tell Somebody movement. As a child, she was molested by her maternal grandfather. At age 6, she told her aunt. Aleesha was then instructed by her 2 aunts and mother, to keep it a secret from the police and her own father with the promise the abuse would stop. Aleesha was still brought around her grandfather, and unfortunately the abuse continued until she was a teenager. It took Aleesha 20 years to tell her dad, but the moment she did, she felt an immediate weight lifted off her shoulders that she wants all survivors to feel, so she started the Tell Somebody movement. She shares many different survivors' stories on her platform, and she travels the world teaching kids to speak up and tell somebody if they are being touched inappropriately, with her Amazon's Best Seller “Tell Somebody: The Basics” children's book.Aleesha discusses the emotional impact of abuse on relationships and self-esteem, emphasizing the importance of breaking the abuse cycle. She faces challenges in getting schools to address child abuse and reaches out to families through her 'Reach the Unreachable' series. The conversation highlights the need for more support and funding for abuse survivors, and the importance of education and early intervention. Aleesha shares her experiences with public figures and emphasizes caution in trusting others. She and Jan stress the importance of educating children about body safety and encourage survivors to share their stories to break the cycle of abuse.Get Your Copy Of 'Tell Somebody'Follow Aleesha:TellSomebodyToday.comInsta: @_QueenLeesh / @TellSomebodyMovement TikTok Facebook If you or someone you know is experiencing emotional distress or suicidal ideation, please access the resources below:National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline: Call/Text 988National Sexual Assault Hotline (RAINN) : 1-800-656-HOPE (4673)National Alliance for Mental Illness: 1-800-950-6264Subscribe / Support / Contact:

“The Congress will push me to raise taxes, and I'll say no, and they'll push, and I'll say no, and they'll push again. And I'll say to them: ‘Read my lips, no new taxes.'” — George Bush's GOP Nomination Acceptance speech, Aug. 18, 1988."Poor George [Bush], he can't help it. He was born with a silver foot in his mouth." - Texas Governor Ann Richards at the 1988 Democratic National Convention.George H.W. Bush may have lived one of the most personally moving stories in all of presidential history. There's war. There's loss. There are great heights and great defeats. Through it all, Bush often appeared somewhat wooden. Unreachable. Unavailable. But beneath that was a man of deep emotions. Follow along as Bush fights in World War II, builds an oil empire in Texas, and rises through the ranks of GOP politics to the White House, where he contended with the end of the Cold War, the aggression of an Iraqi dictator, and an economic reckoning that threatened to be the undoing of his career.Bibliography1. In this message, we want you to consider the question, "Who is the least likely person to accept Jesus?" Is there a person in your family, at your work, or in your life that even Jesus can't change? As you consider this question, you will learn the life pattern of people we often consider unreachable and God's plan to reach them anyway. The lesson comes from an epic moment in the life of Joseph.
