In this episode of The Inspiration Network Podcast I am joined by my dear friend Orest Zwozdesky. Together, we are offering an important weekend of Grief Ritual + Ancestral Immersion that we call 'The Invitation'. To grieve is to be exquisitely alive. It is raw and difficult. A space of vulnerability, of transparency. A weight that we carry, so often alone, that begs to be expressed, seen, and set down. To the equal degree that we grieve, we are able to love. This intimate experience is an opportunity to be held in the depth of our sorrows. A guided ritual experience into the depths of what weighs on our hearts. Let more about The Invitation, happening February 25 + 26, 2023 near Edmonton AB, Canada on my website at https://inspiredme.ca/the-invitation-grief-ritual-ancestral-immersion-feb-2023 To learn more about my offerings, please visit our website: 200hr Online Meditation Teacher Training www.inspiredme.ca/meditation-training 300hr Online Breathwork Facilitator Training https://inspiredme.ca/breathwork-facilitator-training If you've enjoyed this episode, then check out all of the other goodness I've got going on over on my website - www.inspiredme.ca. There is some strange discomfort that accompanies a goodbye. A deep knowing that even though it is for potentially a short while, there is a chance that it could be much longer. And that in the absence, everything will change. Consider that for a moment. What if you could really hold this knowing when you were to kiss your partner or kids goodbye in the morning? Or hug your friends after a visit? To know that this is the only moment that will be just like this. And that we aren't guaranteed tomorrow with this person. How differently would we show up? Would we soften a little more? Hold a little longer? Remind our loved ones just how special they are to us? This episode is all about my experience of trading a Vegan/Vegetarian diet for a Carnivore-ish diet and why. I've been sitting on this topic for a while...and I realised that it's in large part because I was holding back my truth. My knowing. And once I realised that, there was no choice but to express it. If you've been on this journey with me for a while then you know how important integrity and authenticity is to me. I kick off this episode by reminding you that discernment is important above all else. Your unique experience and sovereignty trumps anything that I have to say (or anyone else has to for that matter). Feeling called to deepen your learning of Breathwork or Meditation? Consider how you experience your body and the feedback it offers. The feelings, sensation, expression. It is all a representation of what is going on below the surface, and much of this is unconscious programming that we aren't even really aware of. Stored thoughts, beliefs and experience that is held and represented in the body. Through practices of inner reflection such as Meditation and Breathwork we meet the unconscious parts of self through and gain greater compassion, understanding and love for our body. We all have a deep need for connection. For being in community in a way that honours both our sovereignty and our desire to be of service. This need is understood as the Village. The Village is our birthrite. And when we feel separated from the Village, it causes a deep grief. A need for remembering. “Deep in our bones lies an intuition that we arrive here carrying a bundle of gifts to offer to the community. Over time, these gifts are meant to be seen, developed, and called into the village at times of need. To feel valued for the gifts with which we are born affirms our worth and dignity.” ~ Francis Weller Earlybird for the 200hr Online Meditation Teacher Training has just opened! 30% savings before January 1, 2021 for the next program beginning February 1, 2021. www.inspiredme.ca/meditation-training Join us in the Inspiration Network FB group for ongoing community Inspiration, weekly live Meditations and more! https://www.facebook.com/groups/644680996288281/ If you’ve enjoyed this episode, then check out all of the other goodness I’ve got going on over on my website - www.inspiredme.ca. In this week’s episode of the Inspiration Network podcast, I chat about what it means to be a Spiritual Being having a HUMAN Experience, and how we can choose to cultivate the conditions for the full expression of our soul calling. To live ON PURPOSE. We are all part of The HUMAN Experience. It is WHO we are. It is WHY we’re here. And yet, so often we feel separated from living our fullest, most powerful HUMAN Experience. We hold back. Play it safe. We keep ourselves small so that we don’t rock the boat, create conflict in relationships, or bump up against the bs of our own limiting beliefs. How is that working out for you? Don’t you crave more? More freedom, more purpose, more support, more fun, more connection, more abundance, more love. I know I do. So…let’s get to it! Traver Boehm is the author of the books Today I Rise, and, Man UNcivilized. He’s a two time TEDx speaker and men’s coach, as well as the founder of the UNcivilized Men’s Movement —redefining the way men around the globe experience their masculinity by uniquely blending both the Primal Masculine with the Divine. In this Episode of the Inspiration Network podcast Traver and I talk about the rise of the feminine and how essential it is that men also have a space - a culture - of support. We get into the need for men to be supported as they step into this new consciousness. Redefining masculinity as divine AND primal. Traver draws upon an eclectic background ranging from professional bodyguarding and Mixed Martial Arts to Traditional Chinese Medicine and meditation, Traver also teaches humans to skillfully use the inevitable pain of their lives as fuel for growth and positive change. When not teaching workshops or radically shifting the way men experience their masculinity, Traver can be found chewing on his thumbnail in front of his laptop, chasing surf around the globe, or being reminded that yoga is significantly harder than it looks. Dr. Jeremy Goldberg is making kindness cool and the world better than it was yesterday. (Check out his inspiring TEDx talk by clicking here). In this Episode of the Inspiration Network podcast Jeremy and I riff on how growth can suck, what it means to expand beyond the known, and why chasing fear is the way in. Limiting beliefs are like road blocks. We come up against them and rather than seeing them for what they are (old ideas about past experience) we see a dead-end. But, if we know that these limiting beliefs are just that - beliefs - then we know that we have the power to change them. We can drop them. Just like that. Simply by not believing them. In this Episode of the Inspiration Network podcast we look at what Limiting beliefs are holding us back and look to the truth that lies beneath - the Liberation. The age of the “Guru” is over. Well, at least in the traditional sense of the word. It’s now up to YOU to be the voice of your own moral authority. To look within for the answers that you seek and to take full responsibility for your life. It is my belief, and of many I know, that we are at the tipping point of a breakthrough in collective consciousness. It has been a long time coming. And frankly, I couldn’t be happier to live in a time where sovereignty and individual voice is valued so highly. In this Episode of the Inspiration Network podcast we explore the inevitable journey within, activating our Wisdom Self, the resistance that arises when we change, and self-responsibility as the final step in realizing the truth of our inner wisdom. Self-love is an honouring of the divine being that you are. It is recognizing your perfection and practicing compassion with yourself. Even in times of fear, of lack, and seeming failure. In this episode we look at what it means to love ourself without condition. We also explore the voice of our inner critic, and practice replacing this voice with that of positive self-talk. We are meaning makers. Humans are hard-wired to search for meaning. To understand ourselves and our experience. This personal exploration may be a source of great joy, or of struggle and confusion. How we choose to answer the essential questions - Who am I? and Why am I here? form the basis of our experience of both Self and of the world around us. In essence, we create meaning. We choose our experience based on how we see ourselves and what we identify with. In this episode we get super existential. You know, asking the BIG life questions. But I promise, there’s no wrong answer. You’ve got this! If you’ve enjoyed this episode, then check out all of the other goodness I’ve got going on over on my website - www.inspiredme.ca. If perfection truly is all that exists, then where does this lie of imperfection come from? Why do we judge ourselves, and at times others, so harshly? This lie is rooted in a simple misunderstanding. It is due to the disconnect from our truth. From our story. In this Meditation we look at the story of our unworthiness and reveal the truth of our Divine perfection. In this episode we build on the foundation of Radical Honesty and get to the heart of our limiting beliefs - the lie of your imperfection. We talk about where this lie comes from, what truth is, and how we must reclaim our worthiness in order to live a life of fulfillment and joy. Radical Honesty is a complete truthfulness that holds nothing back. No veils of illusion. No layers of protection. Only the direct reflection of what is, as it is, without judgment or separation. In the first episode of the Inspiration Network podcast, I drop some serious truth bombs. We talk about your childhood trauma, your shadow, hiding behind a mask and how radical honesty is truly the only way to step out into the light.
