Renee Moore, founder of Cinch Skin spent 20 years in the beauty industry before having her son. It was then she realised that despite the thousands of products available, there were none which spoke to her specific needs. She didn't have time for a complicated, 10-step skincare routine. What she needed was a minimalist beauty routine that delivered results. Driven by innovation and efficacy, she wanted her products to be uncomplicated to use, yet effective in their formulations. The range needed to include ingredients that were clinically proven (for peace of mind), but the products needed to be multi-benefit, east-to use and inclusive. Enter: Cinch. www.relauncher.com.au www.instagram.com/relauncher_alison
Gimme founder Lydia Kirkland speaks with Business Coach Alison Morgan about how she rebranded twice and put her business up for sale before it finally became a success. Gimme actually began in 2018 under the name Scarfy, when Lydia and her friend Mizpah King started making hair scarves at the dining table as a side hustle whilst working full time jobs. As the brand grew and they wanted to offer a more diverse range of accessories, they rebranded to Trove. Under this name they released a couple of very successful collaborations with influencers, were approached by Sephora and collaborated with the retailer twice, and started to be seen on Australian celebrities. The founders decided to trademark the name now that Trove was gaining momentum but were too late - another brand had already taken the name. So they rebranded yet again, this time to Gimme. Behind the scenes the founders were stretched thin between juggling full-time jobs, growing families and rebuilding the brand and its new name. Ultimately, and with heavy hearts, they decided the best decision was to put the business on the market. Despite several inquiries from potential buyers, none seemed quite the right fit, and Lydia couldn't shake the belief that GIMME had potential. With Mizpah's support, Lydia bought out her friend and threw herself entirely into the business - all while pregnant with her second child, raising a toddler and working in her part-time communications job! After experiencing the loss of her father in 2009 and her sister's tragic battle with cancer in 2016, Bridget's dedication to promoting health and minimising cancer risk grew stronger. As a qualified naturopath, she has always sought natural yet effective approaches to improve well-being. Bridget began her career in complementary medicine research and later established a thriving naturopathic clinic, where she employed nutrition, supplements, herbal medicine, and lifestyle adjustments to address various health concerns for her clients. During her clinic work, Bridget noticed that many clients struggled with skincare issues like aging, sensitivity, acne, eczema, and rosacea. Having personally dealt with skin challenges such as acne, scarring, and signs of aging, she understood their plight. Unfortunately, both her clients and she herself faced a lack of gentle, natural, and organic skincare products in the market that could deliver potent results while providing the luxurious experience associated with high-end conventional skincare. Inspired by this gap, Bridget embarked on creating her own line of skincare products, giving rise to Clémence Organics. Clémence Organics not only offers Australia's finest certified organic and naturopathically formulated skincare, but it also prioritises environmental consciousness. By utilising environmentally friendly ingredients, sustainable packaging, and mindful manufacturing practices, they strive to minimise the daily environmental impact of our skincare routines. www.relauncher.com.au www.instagram.com/relauncher_alison

Join Business Coach, Alison Morgan where she talks though driving profitable business growth through understanding your customers' journey. A customer journey map is a visual storyline of every engagement a customer has with your service, brand, or product. Understanding this means you don't need to rely so heavily on social media. An algorithm you can't control. If your current customer journey is full of bottlenecks and areas of friction, this translates to a poor customer experience and reputation. Mapping a more streamlined customer journey helps to increase enquiries, conversions and the customer lifecycle. Once you have completed this exercise, what's likely to happen is that you will notice 2 points: 1. You're most likely spending too much time on activities that don't impact the customer journey 2. You're also likely spending too little time on activities that do impact the customer journey. www.relauncher.com.au www.instagram.com/relauncher_alison
Roughly 20 billion kilos of coffee fruit is wasted per year releasing toxic gases into the environment. As lovers of both coffee and the planet, Vanessa and Lachlan couldn't ignore the pressing issue of the coffee farming crisis. This hidden hero of coffee farming, known as the coffee cherry or coffee fruit, holds tremendous potential and remains largely untapped. The duo have pioneered a solution to combat this waste and transform coffee fruit into a delicious and sustainable snack bar. These innovative bars, made from upcycled coffee fruit, harness its untapped potential whilst reducing the ecological footprint left by coffee farming. Vanessa & Lachlan launched I Am Grounded in 2020. Vanessa & Lachlan first became fascinated with coffee fruit after learning about its health benefits and the waste associated with coffee farming from Vanessa's father, a food by-product expert & innovator in the Agri-Tech Space. Determined to harness this fruit's potential & prevent it from ending up in landfill, Vanessa & Lachlan started researching, experimenting, testing & collaborating with local farmers in Colombia. Years later, I Am Grounded launched their snack bars that hero unused coffee fruit. This innovative snack concept has been ranged in Woolworths, IGA and selected health food stores. Vanessa's love for coffee is in her blood – after migrating from Colombia to Australia in ‘96; her family opened a coffee training school. From a young age, Vanessa was a ‘Barista Master' & then went on to open her own coffee shop in Brisbane. Vanessa also studied journalism, political science and marketing. Sara Sidari is an Italian born artist and entrepreneur who lived most of her life between Australia and Italy. Orro + Co story is based on the nostalgia of her Childhood holidays along the Italian Coast and the feeling of confidence and radiance she gained during the summer time. ORRO has been a challenging one with highs and lows but worth the fight. It began in 2016 when there was no skincare in tanning causing skin to dry out or turn it green. Sara was set to create the first hybrid serum with skincare and then the glow where is would nourish the skin yet give you the perfect subtle glow. Challenges have been the obvious covid, launching a few months prior and being completely cut off just as ORRO was getting the momentum was hard. Manufacturing closing imports closing it was a tough challenge to circulate around. Second challenge and the most heart breaking was going through a court case with the previous partner in ORRO who had invested in the early days. Unfortunately she stole the company money just as we had a peak in sales and the first two months of launching and that was a traumatic experience and not only was I going through covid trauma but also this to win back my company which I did I was going to fight for my dream no matter what. www.relauncher.com.au www.instagram.com/relauncher_alison

Jessie McLachlan was working with leading musicians and artists in the US until lockdowns had her deported back to Australia. While in the US, Jessie co-founded a carnival for the homeless called the "Skid Row Carnival Of Love” which is a unique event created for disadvantaged and homeless youth. The event connects underprivileged individuals to recourses such as health care, behavioural counselling, stoke education and Dental hygiene. Jessie is launching a similar concept in Australia called “We Are Altru” given that over 3.3 million people in Australia live below the poverty line and more are at risk with the host of living crisis. In 2014, Jessie was living in NY and almost became medically bankrupt. She received a medical bill of $586,000 USD (whilst having medical insurance)which gave her an even deeper appreciation of how easy it can be to slip between the cracks. When she moved to LA, she decided to start celebrating her birthday each year with a carnival for the homeless called the Skid Row Carnival of Love. It is a day of pure joy where happiness is not a limited resource. Altru Festival is inspired by this same event and is coming to Australia to celebrate the humanity within homeless. www.relauncher.com.au www.instagram.com/relauncher_alison
