#175 The rocket Blue Origin recently made history with an all female crew. Many people have always wanted to be lucky enough to take that trip. Well, not me! In this episode I talk a little about why it is definitely not on my bucket list. You might agree, or you might be crazy, lol!Support the show
#174 With modern technology, there have been some really great advances. But somethings are overly complicated for no reason. And other things are not as convenient as they seem. A good example is the lack of physical buttons in cars. However, there seems to be reverse trend, and I'm all for it. Listen in and let me know if you are pro button like me!Support the show
#173 Well, apparently it's time for me to do another movie review. I recently saw Gladiator 2 and boy do I have thoughts! If you have seen the first movie it is based on, I am sure you have some strong feelings about it yourself! I'm not really going to be talking about the actors and their abilities. My thoughts are really around the big picture. Or lack thereof! See if you agree!Support the show
#172 So recently I found out that a credit card I was supposed to get in the mail was stolen. Worst it likely happened at the Post Office! Now, I know for some you may not care, but it is highly frustrating to not get something you were supposed to. In this episode, I talk about what happened, and how I think it can be avoided in the future. See if you agree!Support the show
#171 Recently, there were two plane tragedies in the same week. One in DC and one in Philly. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and all those affected. It is hard to believe it, but even with this, air travel is relatively safe. What I do have a concern with, if that is the right term, is the way we consume this news. Pictures and videos and interviews pop up faster and faster. And we can't wait for more. Is that the problem when tragedy strikes? Or a necessary evil? Support the show
#170 There is a really bad trend happening at some airports. People are willing to do almost anything to get that all important preboarding designation. But it really seems to be crossing a line. In this episode I dive into this new bad behavior involving wheelchairs. And I can tell you now-I don't like it!Support the show
#169 Welcome to 2025! Almost, lol! Time really flies when you are super busy! I can't believe we are here already, but I hope a new year brings good things for all!Support the show
#168 There was a recent case of a missing woman, Hannah Kobayashi, who turned out not to be missing at all. There are a lot of mysteries in this case, but we know she is safe. It does bring up other issues and questions, and in this episode I talk a bit about that. Tune in and let me know how you feel about an adult deciding to walk away from life.Support the show
#167 I recently saw the movie Wicked, and I definitely have thoughts! I am a big fan of the musical, so I wasn't sure that I would be happy with the big screen adaptation. So much can go wrong, and Hollywood has been hit and miss when it comes to musical to movie creations. In this episode I let you know what I think and get into detail about some of the choices actors made. Listen in and see if you agree!Support the show
#166 Well I have had a few weeks where crazy things were happening. My laptop went on the fritz, so I couldn't create episodes, and the Presidential election happened. Yeah, that. So in this episode I talk a bit about what has happened and I give a shout out where it's well deserved. Listen in to find out what that's all about!Support the show
#165 With the recent death of baseball legend Pete Rose, there are some uncomfortable truths that arise. One is that he bet on baseball, a seemingly unforgiveable crime. Another is that he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame for his accomplishments on the field, but may never get there. In this episode I talk about what I think should happpen, and get into how it seems there are worse things a person could do without being banned. Or are there?Support the show
#164 Recently a big indictment was revealed against NYC Mayor Eric Adams. He has seemingly been involved in some criminal activity and the Feds say it goes back to when he was a Borough President. I will never understand how politicians keep getting themselves into trouble! From Senator Menedez to Former President Trump in recent times, it seems that people in power will get there by any means necessary. Things are unfurling for Mayor Adams, and as of now it doesn't look good for him!Support the show
#163 Reality TV is getting a little more real this season. On Dancing With The Stars, a contestant named Anaa Delvey will be on the new cast. If you think her name is familiar, then you may also know that her real name is Anna Sorokin, and she is a convicted felon! She committed fraud and served time in prison. So why is she on DWTS? Good question! In this episode I talk about this and what I think, you might agree with me. But one thing is for sure, ABC will get great ratings!Support the show
#162 Sometimes Social Media can be very helpful with tips and tricks to make life easier. I am not going to talk about one of those times. Instead, I'm here to warn you that some "hacks" are straight up fraud! Recently, one involving Chase Bank swept Tik Tok. In this episode, I discuss this disturbing trend that will likely have you in thousands of dollars in debt. Oh yeah, and you might catch a felony as well! Support the show
#161 With recent reports of car thefts on the rise, it makes you wonder how new cars with all this technology are so easy to get in to! It turns out, the key fob you have isn't all that secure, and thieves are using that to their advantage! In this episode I discuss the problem with key fobs and the easy solutions. But I also talk about the lack of convenience that is the result.Support the Show.

#157 In NYC, and probably other cities, there are now 24 hour school zones. I found this out the hard way! In my travels I got a ticket going through a school zone...on a Sunday! In this episode I talk a bit about that. While I get the reasons behind school zones, a 24 hour one doesn't make sense to me. If you have come across these areas, let me know what you think! I definitely shared my feelings on this one! Support the Show.
#156 It's time for another Buzzfeed Quizz! I really enjoy doing these and hopefully, you do too! This time we are comparing Disney movies new and old. Well comparing is a stretch, I'm really just pick ing which one I like more! You might be surprised at some of my choices. Listen in and see if you would make the same ones, or if you think I'm crazy!Support the Show.
#155 There is a not so new thing out there called Unschooling. It's the idea that you only teach kids things they want to learn, or some version of that. I gotta tell you, that just doesn't sound like a great idea. There are a lot of things that kids can take the lead on, but their education might not be the one to choose. Listen in on my thoughts about Unschooling and let me know if you agree with them!Support the Show.
#154 There was an assassination attempt made on former President Donald J Trump. Now, in the days and weeks ahead we will learn the the how's and why's. But I think there is a take away already-the current political lndscape has gotten so bad, that violence might seem like the answer. It is not! In this episode I talk about this event and would like to know what you think as well.Support the Show.
#153 Recently in Barcelona there were protests against tourism. Yup, you heard that right! A city known for tourism had a protest against the thing that keeps it running! In this episode, I discuss that idea, and whether or not that could help or hurt a city if it were to do away with tourism once and for all!Support the Show.
#152 I recently witnessed something that caught my attention. A man giving advice to some teens. The amazing thing is, they were strangers to each other! In this day and age there are enough examples of bad behavior to go around. This is one time when someone took the time to try to give a positive message to some kids who probably needed to hear it. Listen in and see if you agree.Support the Show.
#151 As most of you have heard by now, Former President Donald Trump was recently found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records. Now, I know this is a controversial issue. But my take on it all is, is this the best we can do? Listen in and see if you feel the same!Support the Show.
#150 On Youtube you see a lot of interesting stories. The viral ones make it to big news outlets for all to see. Recently one such story arrived about a man caught on Zoom driving a car while he was participating in his own court case for...wait for it...driving with a suspended license! Now this story has a few twists and turns, but I still find myself shaking my head! Listen in and see if you are as confused as I am!Support the Show.
#149 Over the years I've tried several different meal prep services to try to make it a little easier to manage a busy life. Recently I decided to give Factor a try. In this episode I talk a bit about what I liked and disliked about a few of the services. If you have ever given the idea of ordering prepped meals a try, then this episode is definitely for you!Support the Show.
#148 In this episode there isn't a lot of introduction necessary. The news is full of teachers doing unthinkable things, and it just needs to stop. If it's a topic that is triggering or uncomfortable, you may wanna skip this one. If you happen to be a teacher with nonsense on your mind listen up because you need to hear this!Support the Show.
#147 I was recently introduced to the game Too Many Bones. It's been around for a while, but I'm just getting into it and it's fun! It's a dice game, so most things depend on the luch of the roll. But it has some interesting parts to it. Listen in to my short review on the game, and let me know what you think about it!Support the Show.
#146 It seems that Hannah Gutierrez Reed has been sentenced for the Involuntary Manslaughter confiction she got. It didn't really go well for her, mostly because of her own words! It's a terrible tragedy that could have been avoided, but it seems Hannah doesn't really think she's to blame. Listen in and see if you agree with her, and if you think her sentence was fair.Support the show
#145 In NYC, Manhattan specifically, there will be congestion pricing instituted. Driving into lower Manhattan will cost $15 per vehicle. A lot of people are up in arms, as it's already expensive to visit the Big Apple. Listen in and see if you think its reasonable or if you would use my new favorite word: outrageous!Support the show
#143 MSC is dealing with a lot of backlash over a recent incident with popular Youtubers Ben and David. Apparently, it all revolved around being able to film content, or not. But the issue is, is MSC at fault for creating a whole lot of bad publicity? Or are the content creators Ben and David crossing the line in some way? I found this little cruise drama interesting, and thought you might too!Support the show
#142 It seems that the great debate on tipping culture here in the U.S. is still going strong. A recent trip to a restaurant had me scratching my head over what was expected. This topic makes a lot of people mad, but no one can really make a definitive answer. Should we tip or not? #141 From time to time I come across articles that originate from reddit's "Am I the Asshole" thread, or AITA for short. I gotta say, sometimes I am left scratching my head at the behavior people display in these stories! And sometimes I can't stop laughing either! I thought it would be interesting to check out a few posts from AITA and see what I think. Let me know if you agree with me when I pass judgement on who is the person at fault. #140 I recently came across a trivia quiz to see how much I remember about the 80's. #138 As winter has arrived in full force across most of the United States, I have experienced yet another pet peeve-parking lots that are not properly cleared of snow and ice! So if you own a parking lot, then listen closely!Support the show
#137 These days we are trying to be more mindful of the environment. One way many states have done this is to get rid of plastic straws. While on the surface it may seem like a good idea, I'm not so sure. In this episode I tell you why I think maybe we are being too hasty with abandoning plastic straws, and I come up with an alternative item we should throw out that I know you'll agree with!!Support the show

#131 I recently had the opportunity to see John Wick 4, the latest installment of a series of very popular movies starring Keanu Reeves. Now, the acting is great, but the plot leaves a lot to be desired. I can't say that I enjoyed it, and I was left with more questions than answers. Let me know if you agree, or if you think the more John Wick, the merrier!Support the show
#130 After a recent terrorist attack by Hamas on civilians in Israel, the Middle East is on the brink of war again. In fact, Israel has declared war, has been bombing Gaza, and the whole thing is about to get a lot worse. In this episode I'm looking at how it doesn't seem like the rest of the world is allowed to stay neutral. And really, why are we stuck in this cycle of violence. It's a bit of a ramble, but I can't wrap my head around it. All I can do is brace for more suffering ahead.Support the show
#129 In a world that is heavily focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), I can't help but wonder if we are making a mistake leaving the creative arts behind. Some schools don't even offer music and art, while others only offer one type. Now I know STEM is important, but so are the creative arts. Listen to this episode to find out why!Support the show
# 128 There are a lot of different subscription boxes available these days. You can have toys, games, clothes and food delivered to your home on a regular basis.
