Taylor made it to Michigan, and having ridden to LAX in 56 minutes, he's never going back...to driving (1:13). Taylor talked to Tal Babcock, employee of a cafe in a former railroad depot where his grandfather was the Station Master, on the Michigan North Central bike route (2:41). A NY judge rules NYC Mayor Adams can remove protections on the Bedford Ave bike lane, undoing years of advocacy, because it's not a "major" modification. StreetsblogNYC writer Sophia Lebowitz reports that some see the judge's ruling as meaning that all NYC bike lanes could as easily be made fully protected by a new Mayor https://nyc.streetsblog.org/2025/07/09/brooklyn-judge-lets-eric-adams-rip-up-bedford-avenue-protected-bike-lane (6:32). New York City Mayor Eric Adams is currently trailing in polls ahead of the November mayoral race — but he tells Mo News that the race has only just started. In an interview with Mosheh, Adams said he's focused on spreading his message about his record and administration's wins — including on the economy and public safety — and registering 1 million new voters. Mosheh asks Adams how he plans to overcome his dismal favorability ratings with New Yorkers, while also pressing him on his five-count criminal indictment. It made him the first New York City mayor to be indicted, but was dropped by the Trump Justice Department in February. They discuss his relationship with Trump and what actually went down earlier this year. Adams also addresses a number of the promises made by Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani — the 33 year-old Democratic Socialist who ran on promises of free childcare, free buses, rent freezes, and a sweeping social justice and tax agenda. Adams has some blunt words in this interview for former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who lost to Mamdani in the Democratic primary but is still considering an independent run. A Mamdani victory is all but guaranteed if both Adams and Cuomo remain in and split the centrist vote. Adams also discussed his origin story — including how getting beaten up by a police officer as a teen led him to join the NYPD— and played a round of rapid-fire questions on what he loves most about New York. In this edition of The ReidOut, Joy Reid covers the mass firings of federal employees—potentially hundreds of thousands—ordered by Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Plus, we discuss what many consider to be America's shame on the world stage as J.D. Vance and Pete Hegseth fumbled through the Munich Security Conference. But first, Trump's take on law and order, as we seemingly now live in a country where the rule of law apparently comes second to what Trump wants. Top officials in Trump's Justice Department—who also happen to be his former criminal lawyers—have pressured prosecutors to drop corruption charges against New York Mayor Eric Adams, citing interference with the administration's immigration priorities. Listen now to this episode of The ReidOut on MSNBC.

In this new episode of Beyond the Legal Limit, Jeff unwinds all things Luigi: from the arrest to the initial state charges, to the upgraded First Degree Murder charge, to the shocking federal charges. Included is Jeff's insight on why everything seemed to change in the prosecution — the impact of the massive pro-Luigi public groundswell is the culprit. In other news, Jeff describes a trip to Florida for a plea on a multi-million dollar fraud case which incredibly ended with no conviction for his young client, and why a generous act a few days prior may have caused this result. Lastly, NYC Mayor Adams' big mouthed top aide gets indicted and she still can't stop talking to the press. An update to an earlier podcast lays all the stupidity out. In short, Jeff called this one early.

Join Jim and Greg as they assess Kamala's weak performance on MSNBC, New York City Mayor Eric Adams getting indicted in a federal foreign bribery case, and President Biden trying to gaslight America and the world about why he's not still running for president. First, they get a kick out of Kamala Harris struggling mightily to answer very basic questions from MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle. Harris seemed to have no insights on tariffs or what she would do if Congress didn't pass a corporate tax increase if she were elected. She also delivered another notorious word salad. Jim and Greg debate whether her poor performance is due to incompetence or an attempt to conceal her radical agenda. Next, they react to New York City Mayor Eric Adams' federal indictment for allegedly taking bribes from Turkish officials to expedite a questionable construction project. They discuss the implosion of Adams' administration, whether his criticism of the migrant crisis played a role in the indictment, and the disgraced figure who may be eyeing a political comeback. Finally, they debunk President Biden's claim that his decision to step down in July was a selfless move for the good of the nation. Jim and Greg argue that Biden's narrative, presented during his U.N. speech and appearance on The View, overlooks pressure from top Democrats pushing him out of the 2024 race.
