Three days ago, the CDC officially came out and stated that, according to the data that they have collected, an investigation must be opened up regarding the possible connection between the updated Pfizer vaccine and a potentially elevated risk of stroke in those aged 65 and above. Specifically, the CDC cited the data coming from their real-time vaccine surveillance system and stated that “[f]ollowing the availability and use of the updated (bivalent) COVID-19 vaccines, CDC's Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD), a near real-time surveillance system, met the statistical criteria to prompt additional investigation into whether there was a safety concern for ischemic stroke in people ages 65 and older who received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent.” Essentially, their review of the real-time data found that it's possible that those who receive the updated vaccine formulation might be at an increased risk of a stroke shortly after the injection date. ⭕️ Sign up for our NEWSLETTER and stay in touch
