This week Commando makes it to the studio late to recored because he was shopping at Costco so of course Sarcastro, Fatty and Banky had to review his receipt to judge his purchases. This month Sarcastro is joined by Fatty, Banky and friend of the show and co-host of The Sunnydale Diaries, a Buffy the Vampire Slayer podcast, Queen Mel to talk about a show she recommended, Tales from the Darkside.  A horror anthology series which Sarcastro was the only one on the show who had never heard of it.  The first episode happened to be an actual aired pilot that first hit television around Halloween in 1983 and was about a loan shark played by Barnard Hughes (Grandpa from The Lost Boys) and who happened to enjoy Halloween so much he put on a free haunted house for the kids of the indebted parents in town.   The episode also stars Max Wright making his second appearance on The First Ones from the premier episode on ALF. This week the gang talks about a couple of recent news articles the first is about a man arrested after being found in a display tool shed at a hardware store and the second is about major brand of coolers where a couple models have been recalled due to amputating portions of fingers and causing other injuries. Fatty gets reminded that he's not the spring chicken he used to be after a weekend of adding upgrades to his party shed at the lake.  Sarcastro learns the hard way that you really have to wash jalapeno pepper oil off your hands quite throroughly.  Banky acknowledges that he may have more Yeti products than any one household actually needs after Fatty calls him out during a recent game night.    Intro and Outro music written and performed by Andrés Rodríguez (Androzguitar).

Nová transakčná daň bude podľa neho znamenať pre podnikateľov zvýšené náklady v desiatkach eur mesačne, avšak mBank sa snaží ich dosahy minimalizovať. „Za podnikateľov túto daň odvedieme a zároveň do konca roka kompenzujeme jej časť, všetko teda za klientov vybavíme my, nemusia sa o nič starať, " vysvetľuje R. Fink. Digitalizácia zohráva kľúčovú úlohu pri znižovaní administratívnej záťaže. „Podnikateľský účet si klienti môžu založiť online, telefonicky alebo na pobočke, pričom im stačí občiansky preukaz. Ostatné údaje si banka overí sama," dodáva generálny riaditeľ. mBank sa snaží podnikateľom uľahčiť orientáciu aj prostredníctvom online poradenskej platformy Podnikateľov poradca. Tá ponúka viac ako sto článkov na témy ako právo, dane, účtovníctvo či digitalizácia. Banky očakávajú, že v dôsledku legislatívnych zmien a transakčnej dane vzrastie záujem o podnikateľské účty v týchto dňoch. „Veríme, že živnostníci ocenia jednoduché riešenia a nebudú čakať do poslednej chvíle," dodáva R. This week Corporal, Sarcastro and Banky talk about burning the candle at both ends and the fact that "the big game" is played on a Sunday evening/night instead of a Sunday afternoon or maybe even a Saturday so the Monday after isn't so exhuasting.   They share their experiences of the way that third shift work took it out of them for various reasons. This week Commando, Sarcastro, Fatty, and Banky discuss getting ready for the 2025 Porch Guys Weekend at Fatty's cabin including not having the television accessible this time and finding the right old fashioned recipe to kick off the opening night festivities.  What sorts of things to cook, like wings of science, ribs and grazing foods instead of a proper meal since it seems to go wasted when they get wasted.   In the real of poor choices Commando gets sucked into the One Piece anime.  After some time to think about the finale of it, Fatty determines what he thought was a poor choice in watching the series Ragnarock turned out to not be such a poor choice.  Banky goes to five pickels of fury level of angry with a series of Door Dash deliveries where his food is handled poorly but yet he keeps using the service.   Intro and Outro music written and performed by Andrés Rodríguez (Androzguitar).

This week the fellas get together to talk about an artcile Commando shared about Aeros and their grand plans to start to use airships as floating distribution centers with drones making the final step delivery.  They debate if this makes sense and if it's feasible to run in various markets.  This leads to Sarcastro pointing out they the only jobs the job openings they have on their website are for interns to basically prove that this model would work which then ends up having Fatty point out that he's not buying into it as they don't even have an actual airship to do this with that they've proven this would work.  Banky and Fatty share their experience (or rather Banky's inexperience) at an indoor shooting range over the weekend.  Commando points out that the current ongoing poor choice is the hobby of getting into going to shooting ranges is how much money it's collectively costing.  Intro and Outro music written and performed by Andrés Rodríguez (Androzguitar).

Peníze jsou zdrojem radosti, svobody a někdy i konfliktů. A ve vztazích to platí dvojnásob. Jak Češi nejčastěji řeší finance ve vztazích? A co když přijde nečekaná situace, která jednoho z partnerů odřízne od společných peněz? To jsme rozebrali v nejnovějším Forbes BrandVoice podcastu s CEO Partners Banky, Markem Ditzem, a finančním poradcem a zakladatelem kanálu Teorie peněz, Matúšem Kuchálikem. Podle průzkumu Partners Banky využívá polovina českých párů nějakou formu společných financí, ať už jde o sdílené účty nebo společné spoření. Tento trend naznačuje větší důraz na spolupráci a transparentnost ve vztazích, přesto ale přetrvávají určitá rizika. „Jedním z hlavních problémů je, že většina sdílených účtů na trhu nemá rovnocenná práva pro oba partnery, takže když dojde k úmrtí jednoho z páru, druhý kompletně ztratí přístup ke všem financím. This week Sarcastro, Fatty and Banky discuss an article Sarcastro found regarding a surgery gone wrong in Florida where a man's liver was removed instead of his spleen leading to his death.  This turns the conversation to other times where doctors have made mistakes on removing the wrong part of the body during surgery.  Fatty and Sarcastro talk about their experiences with surgeries for their vasectomies and how Fatty had to do it twice.   For poor choices this week Sarcastro tries to hang bird feeders to add a relaxing atmosphere to the back yard to have it backfire on him. Spořicí účty konečně poráží inflaci. S poklesem klíčové sazby ČNB ale jejich výnosy příští rok klesnou. Termínované vklady pokryjí inflaci tipťop, říká ekonomka Horská. Investice jsou nové spoření, míní portfolio manažer Splítek.Spořicí účtyBanky drží úročení na spořicích účtech zatím zuby nehty poměrně vysoko. Nejvyšší úročení na spořicím účtu nabízí aktuálně Raiffeisenbank (4,2 procenta pro vklady do půl milionu). Na druhém místě je VÚB Banka, která úročení snížila na 4,1 %, ale platí na celý vklad. Trinity Bank a Partners Banka nabízí shodně 4,03 % ročně.Jaké výnosy přinesou v příštím roce spořicí účty, které využívá sedm z 10 Čechů, závisí na strategii snižování sazeb České národní banky. Klíčová reposazba (aktuálně na čtyřech procentech) totiž půjde dál dolů. Podle hlavní ekonomky Raiffeisenbank Heleny Horské to ale bude poměrně pomalý pokles.„Úroky nepůjdou dolů tak rychle, jak jsme si před měsícem, dvěma mysleli, což dává konzervativním střadatelům čas a prostor rozmyslet, co s penězi na termínovaných účtech,“ uvedla ve speciálu podcastu Ve vatě, jehož záznam si můžete pustit nahoře v článku.Spořicí účty by tak v příštím roce mohly nést už jen 2,5 až tři procenta. „Žádná tragédie, pro člověka, který má pět let do důchodu, je to docela hezké,“ míní ekonom z Metropolitní univerzity Praha Dominik Stroukal. Další forma konzervativního spoření, tzv. repofondy, které kopírují reposazbu ČNB, dodají ještě zhruba o půl procenta navíc. U obou typů účtů platí, že inflaci sice příští rok pokryjí, ale dlouhodobě ji porážet nebudou. Spotřebitelské ceny v Česku v letošním říjnu meziročně stouply o 2,8 procenta, meziroční inflace tak zrychlila ze zářijových 2,6 procent.Termínované účtyKdo úspory uložil na termínovaném účtu, zafixoval si na rozdíl od „spořáků“ a repofondů úrok na určitou dobu. Čas na rozmyšlenou, kam peníze přesunout, aby vydělávaly více, se ale i tady krátí.„Inflace by měla být v příštím roce už pod třemi procenty, stabilně spíš 2,5 %, takže se mrkněte na svoje „termiňáky“, jaké úrokové sazby tam máte, a opravdu si to hlídejte, protože příští rok podle mě bude zlomový, kdy bude Česká národní banka opatrně sundávat sazby. Můžete se dostat do situace, kdy vám vklady budou krýt inflaci tipťop, anebo ji nepokryjí,“ upozorňuje Helena Horská.Poté co se vysoké sazby ČNB daly do pohybu, rozpohybovaly se i masy peněz na tuzemských účtech. Ze spořicích účtů putovaly směrem na ty termínované, které byly schopné vyšší úrok na určitou dobu uzamknout, ale i do investic.Objem majetku, který mají Češi uložený v podílových fondech, v letošním třetím čtvrtletí vzrostl o 82 miliard korun na rekordních 1,146 bilionu korun. Největší nárůst zaznamenaly dluhopisové fondy.  Na běžných, spořicích a termínovaných účtech ale stále leží přes tři biliony korun.„Vypadá to, že se Češi naučili trochu investovat. Inflace, nouze a současný „hype“, že musíme něco dělat, je donutil vyhledat si investiční aplikaci nebo fondy. A ty peníze už z nich nestahují,“ chválí Čechy ekonom Stroukal.AkciePodle Mikuláše Splítka, portfolio manažera Erste Asset Management, se lidé v reálu nerozhodují, kam dají peníze, podle budoucí inflace. Ale podle té minulé a reagují tak se značným zpožděním.„Myšlenka, že lidé předpovídají, jaká bude inflace, a podle toho se rozhodují, do jaké třídy aktiv půjdou, je z mého pohledu chybná. Oni konečně přesouvali peníze na „termíňáky“ a možná trošičku do těch akcií, až když viděli, že inflace byla 17 %. Oni byli dva až tři roky zpátky.“Držet peníze na vkladových účtech je opatrná strategie, která vyšší zhodnocení v příštích měsících nepřinese. Na rozdíl od investic do akcií. „Jeden ekonom České spořitelny řekl, že investování je nové spoření, a to je velmi zajímavý shift v přemýšlení. Mladí lidé tak opravdu přemýšlí,“ říká Mikuláš Splítek, který v Erste Asset Management řídí podílový fond Stock Small Caps.„Jenom dvě třídy aktiv reálně tvoří bohatství –⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ vlastní kapitál firem a nemovitosti, všechno ostatní je pouze pro udržení bohatství. Když má člověk peníze na spořáku, znamená to, že nechce zbohatnout. Nemá nápady na vlastní podnikání nebo nějakou hypotézu, kterou může využít,“ uvedl Splítek.Podle Heleny Horské teď ale není ideální doba pro přestup z termínovaných účtů do akcií, které jsou aktuálně drahé. „Já nejsem spekulant, jsem makroekonom, co sleduje cykly. Akciové trhy měly tendenci růst před americkými prezidentskými volbami a trochu i po volbách, pak ale přišlo zreálnění situace. Teď bych do toho nelezla. Přijde doba, kdy se do toho akciového trhu bude moci nastoupit za výhodnějších podmínek,“ myslí si Horská.Bojím se, co bude dál, říká SplítekOdhadovat budoucnost na trzích je podle Splítka ošidné. „Způsob, jakým akcioví investoři pracují, není znát budoucnost, tam je příliš mnoho proměnných, ale spíš rychle pochopit, co se děje, a připravit si scénáře,“ kontroval v debatě podcastu Ve vatě.Akciím se loni dařilo. Světový trh vzrostl celkově zhruba o pětinu. Podle Splítka je to i tím, že klesaly úrokové sazby a rostla nezaměstnanost, což firmám vyhovuje. Tento trend může pokračovat. „Pokud se letos zvýšila ziskovost S&P 500 o nějakých 10 %, tak ten růst je ospravedlnitelný. Pokud bude dál růst ziskovost a bude pokračovat toto prostředí, tak se akciím může vést dobře i dál.“Otázkou podle Mikuláše Splítka ale je, jak dlouho. Prvotní impuls, který ekonomice může dát Donald Trump, se může nakonec obrátit proti investorům.„Já se bojím příštího roku. Banky budou hodně půjčovat, rozvolnění regulace, izolacionalismus. Dobré firmy, který mají nějakou konkurenční výhodu, se obchodují 30–⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠40 % nad mým odhadem jejich férové hodnoty. Já se bojím toho, že si valuaci berou z budoucnosti. To znamená, že příští tři čtyři roky akciový trh neudělá nic,“ říká Splítek, který už v roce 2022 upozorňoval, že bychom mohli zažít ztracenou dekádu, kdy trhy prakticky neporostou.Zajímavým sektorem k investování bude podle ekonomky Heleny Horské nadále obranný průmysl. „Výdaje na zbrojení mají růst, mluví se až o čtyřech procentech. Budou v tom peníze. Anebo longevity, péče o dlouhodobé zdraví. Velké peníze se v Evropě budou také investovat do jádra.“Příležitost mohou ale nabídnout i netradiční byznys plány, upozornil Dominik Stroukal. „Z tematických akcií mi vždycky přišla zajímavá „tráva“, tedy marihuana. Některé farmaspolečnosti vsadily na to, že se pohne regulace, což je nejisté, ale začala si hýbat. A našly si na tom větší profitmargin (ziskovou marži)“*****Ve vatě. This week the gang gets together to talk about some disappointments they've experienced including one they all felt in the recent Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight which leads them to share individual disappointments they felt which inlcude Sarcastro watching the time Giraldo Rivera opened Al Capone's vault on live television.  Fatty recalls the end of the show Lost.  For Commando it was the anticlimatic end of the OJ Simpson chase.   In the name of science, Banky finds disappointment in a holiday side that happens to hold a special place in Commando's heart (and stomach).
