Send us a textRaise your pineapple cups and join us for our milestone 52nd episode celebration! We've come full circle by revisiting the Lapu Lapu from Tambu Lounge at Disney's Polynesian Resort - the very first drink we featured when our Disney cocktail adventure began one year ago. With 52 Disney drinks under our belts, we're sharing our definitive rankings of the best and worst beverages across the parks and resorts. The Ottawa Apple from BaseLine Tap House earned unanimous praise as our top pick, while the Lapu Lapu, Cold Brew Martini, and surprisingly delicious Angry Bloody Rancor all made our favorite five list. Not every Disney concoction impressed us though - we didn't hold back our opinions on disappointments like the Mint Julep (which we both agreed was forgettable) and the Sunspot that made our faces pucker "like we were eating Lemon Heads."The most fascinating revelations came from drinks that completely surprised us, like the PB&J Cocktail from TuneIn Lounge that sounded bizarre on paper but delivered unexpectedly delightful flavors. We also shared our bucket list beverages we're still eager to try - including the theatrical Uh-Oa! from Trader Sam's with its fire ritual and the intriguing La Cava Avocado featuring fresh avocado and hibiscus salt rim.Our year of Disney drinking has taught us valuable lessons about our preferences too. Aaron gravitates toward sophisticated sipping cocktails where you can truly taste the quality spirits, while Christy discovered her love for Disney's creative martinis - noting they've yet to make a bad one. Whether you're planning your next Disney vacation or just looking for mixology inspiration, our anniversary episode offers the perfect blend of nostalgia, honest reviews, and tropical rum enjoyment.Have a Disney drink you think we should feature? Send us your suggestions - we'll do the research and drink it for you! Cheers to many more years of Disney cocktail adventures! Here's who we are and what is in store for you

This month, for our Great British Mickey Waffle Mid-month show, the team of Wafflers, led by Claire, made some new friends - or as they like to call their own community - ‘Ohana. The team of Matt and Krystle from Married to Disney Addict Podcast and community joined us for a chat that, quite frankly, could have kept going for hours and hours and hours! Claire had joined Matt and Krystle for one of their shows back in December and had a load of fun, so we invited them to join us to waffle about some Disney history, and future. First of all though, as newcomers to our community we extended the warm and fuzzy hug of welcome, known only as the Carousel of Questions. It's been a couple of years since this feature was retired - maybe we should bring it back for new guests? Let us know in the comments if you think we should. After that we chatted about some classic attractions that have long since hung up their offerings to guests, and whether we as a group believe that what has replaced them is better… or worse? Is Frozen Ever After an improvement on Maelstrom? Is Toy Story Land a better experience than the classic MGM Studios Backlot Tour? Could Creations ever be preferable to Mouse Gear? And the one we found the hardest - is Baseline Tap House an adequate replacement for the glory and oasis that was The Writer's Stop? We discuss attractions, restaurants, shopping and even some night-time spectaculars and decide if the newer offerings are a step up, or a step down from the previous inhabitants of that space. It left the team with a very long list that we didn't get round to covering, so let us know if we didn't talk about your favourite and perhaps we can discuss it on a future show?! You can find Married to a Disney Addict at www.marriedtoadisneyaddict.com, and all on all socials @marriedtoadisneyaddict We look forward to welcoming Matt and Krystle back for a future episode.
In the 196th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave extend their foodie conversation from last week, this time to cover a handful of brunches and lunches and lounges (oh my) First up, #KylaKylaKyla returns to the show for a 2nd week in a row, as Jenn gives a super quick recap on her adventure on Virgin Voyages last week... Dave is excited to be back into the world of pin trading (while his wife Stephanie is headed to Africa)... and Kyla is panicked over park reservations. Which are stupid. Digress... Then, Disney has released a new ticket promotion, which Kyla has taken advantage of for an upcoming trip, while they explain the differences in all of them. Finally, a look at the places frequented by the hosts, the team, and significant others a few weeks ago, including Summerhouse at the Lake... Baseline Taphouse... The Hydraulics Food Stand... Tune-In Lounge... Nomad Lounge... Satu'li... Enchanted Rose... La Cava... Le Creperie... and even more. If you need some ideas on where to grab a drink, or grab a Coke glazed cinnamon roll, this is your ep!

Join Jeremy and Josh for a walk and talk through Disney's Hollywood Studios, where we end up at Baseline Taphouse for a conversation with listener Linz (who happens to be better at podcasting that we are but we're definitely NOT bitter). Linz is our west coast expert who just happened to be visiting WDW with his husband and graciously took some time for us. We read your answers, have some drinks, and generally make everyone around us feel uncomfortable. A practically perfect day. Find Linz on Instagram: @linzismagical. Hello Travelers! This week's episode is all about your suggestions! We asked you what areas of Disney's Hollywood Studios you'd like us to explore, you responded, and we let you guys be the guide. Starting at Echo Lake, we venture down Sunset Blvd and pause to take in the sounds of the music and the crowd. Next we headed further down to the Hollywood Tower hotel to not only seek out some ambiance, but also take in a tour of the Tower of Terror store. After a brief stop for some dinner we walked over to the Grand Ave and Baseline Taphouse area, where we took some time to read the signage on the shops along Grand Avenue, and then took a left turn into Grand Park to get some Muppets vibes. We ended the night in Galaxy's Edge under the rising moons of Batuu and the sounds of arriving and departing ships. Thank you so much for giving us your thoughts - this was a very fun episode to record, and we hope you enjoy tagging along with us. RUNWhen we ran at Walt Disney World earlier this month, we completed another in the virtual race series from Medal Chasers called the I Can Run All Day 10K. This race benefits Team RWB (Red White and Blue). Its mission is to connect Veterans to their communities through physical and social activities. We ran it at Disney Springs. The medal is a great one featuring a spinner of Captain America’s shield. We are so happy to bring the race to Disney while RunDisney events have gone virtual for 2020. EATBaseline Tap House is a great place to go for beer, cocktails, and small plates. The vibe is so great. It’s a tiny place next to the Sci-Fi Drive-In Theatre in Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate is an amazing combination of cheese, meat, fruit, and toasted baguettes. Coffee-rubbed Rib-Eye Beef Puff with Olive Salad is so tasty! These two plates were so tasty. We would have them again and again. Small bites are great to share on a hot day in a theme park. A bit of delicious food that won’t weigh you down, so you can continue to enjoy the theme park and attractions after your meal. DRINK It’s National American Beer Day! We have to celebrate by talking about a couple of beers that we had a Baseline Tap House brewed in the USA! Golden Road 329 Lager at ABV 4.8% was light-bodied, refreshing, and great for hot Florida weather. It was not bitter or hoppy. It had a slight bread and malt flavor and was a light yellow color. We also had Golden Road Hefeweizen at 5% ABV. It had notes of orange and coriander without any bitterness. This place sports great beer and a laid-back atmosphere, plus a great playlist full of covers of popular songs. Come hang out, relax, and cool off after a day at Hollywood Studios. We just wish it was open later so we could stay longer!BONUS FOR THE RUNCATION NATIONDon’t forget Expedition Roasters is offering a brand new discount code for the Runcation Nation!
