**CamelPhat** Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala met each other in Liverpool record shop 3 Beat Records and were both disc jockeys at nightclubs in the city. Di Scala had previously released music as a member of Rezonance Q and Ultrabeat and also as a solo artist. Dave Whelan hosted his own Jubilee club night since 2004 and the two were resident DJs at Society nightclub. They began producing music together as members of The Chosen Few, along with Les Calvert,[6] and the trio also managed the Adhesive record label as a sublabel of All Around the World. The Chosen Few released a cover of the Tears for Fears song "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" (Adhesive, 2004) and a remix of the original song appeared on Tears Roll Down (Greatest Hits 82–92). As a duo Whelan and Di Scala released several remixes as under various names such as The Bassline Hustlers, Men from Mars and Da Mode. Using the name Pawn Shop, they released a single "Shot Away" (All Around the World, 2006), based on a sample of "Gimme Shelter" by The Rolling Stones, which peaked at number 100 on the UK Singles Chart. Following this, they released several singles as Whelan & Di Scala on various labels, including their own label Bachelor Pad Recordings. The two DJs also released music using other aliases such as Wheels & Disco, Mancini and Shake n' Jack. From 2008 to 2014, Dave Whelan was also a radio presenter on Juice FM. In 2010, they released their first recordings as CamelPhat on their own label Vice Records. As CamelPhat, the duo initially wore wrestling masks to conceal their identity because they "just wanted the people to judge the music and not us". In 2011, Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala became owners of a Liverpool nightclub Mansion. The duo released numerous singles and EPs on various record labels and some CamelPhat songs appeared on the Ultratop charts in Belgium, such as "The Act" (Spinnin' Deep, 2014), "Paradigm" featuring A*M*E (Axtone, 2015), "Constellations" (Spinnin' Deep, 2015), "Make 'Em Dance" from Light Night EP (Suara, 2016) and "Hangin' Out with Charlie" from Hangin' with Charlie EP (Suara, 2017). The duo's collaboration with Elderbrook on "Cola" (Defected, 2017) was an international hit single which peaked at number one on the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and was nominated for Best Dance Recording at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards. They released further singles and EPs and had other hit singles with "Panic Room" (Loudmouth Music, 2018), a collaboration with Au/Ra and "Breathe" (Pryda Presents, 2018), a collaboration with Cristoph featuring Jem Cooke. In December 2018, CamelPhat signed to RCA Records. Juraj aka Urban Haven @urbanhaven is a DJ and producer from Eastern Europe, influenced by the funky and soulful house sounds of Glenn Underground and Ron Trent. Publishing his mixes online somehow got him international recognition as a DJ and after relocating himself to London, he also got involved in the local house music scene. Through his involvement with various radio stations that syndicated the Urban Haven radioshow, he's decided to explore more and developed a taste for the sophisticated fusion of electronic music and live instruments. After years of collecting and playing music for others, Urban Haven decided to contribute to the scene as a producer and we are pleased to share with you his debut release "Human Experience EP" on Just 4 The Beat Records @just4thebeat-records. Interview with Italian film composer Fabio Frizzi, conducted prior to his follow-up concert Frizzi 2 Fulci at London’s famous Barbican in the fall of 2014. In addition to discussing the thrill of performing his music live in London, Frizzi discusses his early film work – Oscar Brazzi’s “sexy” film Giro girotondo... con il sesso è bello il mondo (1975) and Lucio Fulci’s Il cav. Costante Nicosia demoniaco, ovvero: Dracula in Brianza (1975) – plus working with Fulci on Zombi (1979), The Beyond (1981), and scoring severe eye trauma. Frizzi also talks about the restoration of his Contraband (1980) score, which makes its premiere release via Beat Records, who’ve also released a 2-CD set of Frizzi’s 2013 London concert. Diallo is an artist/producer, songwriter out of Richmond, Va where he is considered one of the pioneers central Va Hip-Hop scene with a track record of quality work that spans two decades. Over the course of his music career Diallo has collaborated with and produced for the likes of Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Skillz, Harold Lilly, Illa Ghee and Dj Khaled‘s new artist Rum to name a few, beginning with his 1st official album credit on Mad Skillz‘s 1995 Beat Records release “From Where” on the track “Tongues of that next shit” where he is unfortunately mis-credited for “horns programming by”, rather than the proper production credit. Diallo is also the founder of Herbal eX Records, Herbal eXperience LLC, and co-founder of Bloody Reign (who brought you GMGB), Disorganized Union and a number of other highly influential crews throughout the mid-Atlantic. As an artist, Diallo has been featured on the 1999 Bloody Reign Ep “Night Visions”, CAL Pacino's 2003 release “The Casket“, All 3 “Virginia's for Hustlas” mix cd's by Dj Dynamite J (available at Dat Piff), The 2009 album “Access to my Soul” from Afi Makalani, the 2008 Release “Road to Respect” by CAl Pacino, The 2007 release “Get a Dutch – The Herb-N-Music Experience V.1), the full length solo album “Get it or Forget it” released by Herbal eX Records and several others, with other collaborations and productions popping up over the years on underground mix tapes and cd's as well as several official vinyl releases from Disorganized Union, Bloody Reign, NATO and many others.
