Ever feel as the definition of inferior states, "low in rank, status, or quality?" This might be at work, home, when out hanging with our friends, at school, or even when simply going about our day to day life in the community. I think we have all battled this at one point or another. Check out this episode where we will discuss five areas that hopefully will encourage us when dealing with our own inferior complex. As Eleanor Roosevelt said, "no one can make you feel inferior without your consent."Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/hollyshighlights)

Hey sis! Finally, lets talk about this mini workbook that drops 11.20.20!!!I am so excited to say on this episode we are deep diving into steps one, two, and three in the workbook. The idea of this workbook is to work through what you go through starting with p r o c e s s to overcoming obstacles, oppression, and offense in your life.We are “shifting the narrative” !!!Step One: Decide Who - self identify how you see yourself and say who you are.Step Two: Meaning and Purpose - embrace struggle to find meaning and purpose in your pain.Step Three: Will and Truth - apply promise and declare God's will and truth over your life.-Hebrews 11:1Now f a i t h is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.But God, begin to show me fresh ground for His Daughters who have been in dry seasons of doubt and uncertainty. Maybe it's time to dig a little deeper, work a little harder, and truly trust the process! So, let's roll up our sleeves and glove up! We got work to do.Amen!!- website: www.shebelievedhecouldpodcast.comemail: heygirl@shebelievedhecouldpodcast.cominstagram: shebelievedhecould

Ronetta Francis, candidate for Arkansas State Senate District 1, which is home to businesses such as Walmart as well as Yoga Story, owned by former guest Lynn Hancock, joins us on this episode. A corporate ethics executive, attorney, mom, wife, and woman of faith, Ronetta has built her campaign focused on health and wellness, public education, economic development and inclusion. Ronetta has been running an amazing campaign and it’s clear her love for Arkansas runs deep. We’ll talk with her about why she decided to run, the opportunities for impact she thinks is in the future for the Arkansas Senate, and why NOW was the right time for her to run. What we’re talking about: Ronetta shares a bit about her background and how a transition from a big job to a big question about ‘what’s next?’ led her to consider a run for office. When Ronetta left her job as an ethics and employment attorney at Walmart, she turned her attention to writing a book called Bloom Where You Are Planted which serves as the foundation for her executive coaching business. She shares her story about moving forward with her candidacy - and that it started when Representative Nicole Clowney encouraged her to consider. Three years later, she did just that. Finally in August of 2019, she realized tomorrow is not promised, and decided to run for Senate shortly after that. Learning about how to run can be an on-the-job experience. There are a number of organizations such as Emerge Arkansas who can help. Ronetta shares her favorite and most surprising aspects of campaigning during a pandemic. Fundraising is an integral part of campaigning, but it used to make Ronetta break out in a cold sweat - she figured it out and grew as a candidate. She shares her reasons why education and inclusion are important to her, her neighbors, and Arkansas. Why Arkansas will need advocacy and outreach to encourage our policymakers to pass the proposed state Hate Crime Bill How she’s loving Tik Tok these days and why our neighbors should vote for her Contact Ronetta and Register to Vote: www.ronettafrancis.org Facebook.com/RonettaforArkansas Instagram.com/RonettaFrancisforAR1 Twitter.com/RonettaforAR1 www.studentvote.org Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram @talkbravely
This week's sermon is entitled "Bloom Where You Are Planted." The scriptures are Genesis 37:1-4, 12-28; 45-4-7. Often when we find ourselves in a challenging situation, we can become so focused on the situation that we lose sight of the larger picture and our ability to overcome. In this week's sermon, we are re-introduced to Joseph, son of Jacob/Israel. At seventeen, God reveals to him in a dream the destiny to which he is headed. But that destiny is delayed by his siblings, who hate and are jealous of him; because he is well loved by his father. They despise him so much that they plot to kill him and ultimately sell him into Egyptian slavery. Over the course of thirteen years, Joseph will serve as a slave, be sexually harassed by his master's wife, do a stint in a jail for a crime he didn't commit, and be betrayed by two prisoners, after his gifts lead to their release. Joseph could have used his situation as an excuse to be less than God destined him to be. Instead, Joseph blooms where he is planted and ultimately Pharaoh puts him over his entire house and all his people; he is second in command only to Pharaoh. Bad situations give us two options: we can either focus on the situation and sing whoa is me, or we can do the best we can, with what we have, and trust God to deliver us into a better situation. Joseph's story reveals what will make the latter possible. - Pastor Felicia Introduction - "The Curtain Rises" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

In this episode, I share parts of my keynote from the conference that I spoke at in middle Georgia. We are all builders each and every day. We hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall...
