We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin[b] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.Romans 13 Submission to Governing Authorities13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.2 Peter 3:11-1811 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.[b] That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. 15 Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

Fr. Pagliarani Sermon Announcing New Bishops for the SSPX

SSPX Podcast

The sermon you are about to hear was preached by Don Davide Pagliarani on the feast of the Purification, February 2, 2026, a feast that reveals Christ as the Light of the nations and Our Lady as inseparably united to His work of redemption. From Simeon's prophecy to the sword that pierces the Heart of Mary, this sermon moves steadily toward the central truth that Redemption is never abstract, never painless, and never indifferent to the human heart. With clarity and urgency, he explains the role of Our Lady as Co-Redemptrix, and the responsibility placed upon every Christian to choose Christ without compromise. This next section marks a decisive and solemn moment in the sermon, where Fr. Pagliarani turns from doctrine to responsibility. He speaks openly about the future of the Society of Saint Pius X, the care of souls, and the grave question of episcopal consecrations, not as an act of defiance, but as a matter of conscience before God. What follows is a candid appeal grounded in one principle above all others: that in the Church, the supreme law is, and must always remain, the salvation of souls. – – – – – – View this episode on YouTube: – – – – – – – The Society of Saint Pius X offers this series and all of its content free of charge. The SSPX Podcast is produced by Angelus Press, which has as its mission the fortification of traditional Catholics so that they can defend the Faith, and reaching out to those who have not yet found Tradition.  – – – – – – What is the SSPX? The main goal of the Society of Saint Pius X is to preserve the Catholic Faith in its fullness and purity, to teach its truths, and to diffuse its virtues, especially through the Roman Catholic priesthood. Authentic spiritual life, the sacraments, and the traditional liturgy are its primary means of bringing this life of grace to souls. Although the traditional Latin Mass is the most visible and public expression of the work of the Society, we are committed to defending Catholic Tradition in its entirety: all of Catholic doctrine and morals as the Church has always defended them. What people need is the Catholic Faith, without compromise, with all the truth and beauty which accompanies it. https://sspx.org

Sanctification Explained: Sanctification is the ongoing process of becoming more like God, involving a change in one's nature, thoughts, and desires over time, as individuals strive to live in accordance with their covenants. The Role of Grace: Grace is central to understanding both justification and sanctification. It emphasizes that salvation is a gift from God, not solely based on individual works, and that individuals can have confidence in their justified state. Addressing Perfectionism: Many Latter-day Saints struggle with perfectionism, often feeling unworthy despite understanding the doctrine. The conversation highlights the importance of recognizing one’s worth as inherent and not solely based on actions. Mental Health Considerations: The discussion touches on the intersection of mental health and religious beliefs, particularly regarding OCD and scrupulosity, emphasizing the need for compassion and understanding in addressing these issues. Leadership Applications Fostering a Culture of Grace: Leaders can create an environment where members feel secure in their justified state, encouraging them to engage in the gospel without the burden of shame or guilt. Understanding Individual Needs: By recognizing that unmet needs may drive certain behaviors, leaders can approach members with empathy, focusing on support rather than judgment. Promoting Continuous Growth: Leaders should emphasize the importance of striving for sanctification, framing commandments and ordinances as opportunities for growth rather than as mere obligations, thus inspiring members to engage more fully in their spiritual journeys. Recently, leaders from our conference joined colleagues from across the South Central Jurisdiction in El Paso for the All Things in Common gathering. Bishops, conference staff, and leaders came together for worship, conversation, and honest storytelling about where the Church is and where God might be leading next. But El Paso wasn't just a meeting location. It was a place already deeply connected to the Louisiana Conference. While there, we spent time at Lydia Patterson Institute, a United Methodist school serving students in the El Paso–Juárez border region, a school that many in Louisiana know well, and care deeply about. Earlier this year, during our Annual Conference session, LPI President Dr. Carla Cardoza shared urgent news. A sudden pause on student visa interviews by the U.S. State Department impacted nearly half of LPI's student body. In response, the Louisiana Conference, along with the United Methodist Foundation of Louisiana, made a significant financial commitment to help the school continue educating students remotely. In this episode, we sit down with Dr. Cardoza in her office at Lydia Patterson Institute. She shares how that gift was used, how the school has navigated the visa shutdown, and what it means to lead a community of hope and resilience amid unprecedented government disruption. In the final years of Henry VIII's reign, even conversation could be dangerous. Katharine Parr was not simply a dutiful queen consort. She was highly educated, deeply interested in theology, and unusually willing to debate religion with the king. At first, Henry encouraged these exchanges. He enjoyed having a companion who could follow his arguments and respond thoughtfully. By 1546, however, those same conversations were being reported very differently. An arrest warrant was prepared. Bishops took notice. Courtiers repeated her words. Katharine found herself in the same position that had destroyed others before her. This video explores: Why Katharine felt secure enough to debate theology with Henry How court politics turned her speech into a risk What she understood about Henry's need for control at the crucial moment And how a carefully chosen conversation stopped the arrest from going forward This is not a story about luck or silence. It is about timing, perception, and knowing when the safest move was to change the way the story was being told.

Gospel John 1:19-28 This is the testimony of John.  When the Jews from Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to him to ask him, “Who are you?” he admitted and did not deny it, but admitted, “I am not the Christ.”  So they asked him, “What are you then? Are you Elijah?”  And he said, “I am not.”  “Are you the Prophet?” He answered, “No.”  So they said to him, “Who are you, so we can give an answer to those who sent us?  What do you have to say for yourself?” He said: “I am the voice of one crying out in the desert, ‘Make straight the way of the Lord,' as Isaiah the prophet said.”  Some Pharisees were also sent.  They asked him, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ or Elijah or the Prophet?”  John answered them, “I baptize with water; but there is one among you whom you do not recognize, the one who is coming after me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to untie.”  This happened in Bethany across the Jordan, where John was baptizing. Reflection It's hard to underestimate the importance of understanding John the Baptist. He's the transition. He occupies the liminal space between the Old Testament and New Testament, and he's using such an interesting image here. He's saying, the things that I've done for you are symbolic of what's to come. I've had a ritual of baptizing you with water, which is an image of being cleansed. But then he reveals one is coming after that will not baptize simply with water, but with fire. And Holy Spirit. It's interesting, there's so many things in the Old Testament we can see as symbols of what is coming, and nothing is more clear than John the Baptist's role of pointed out that there is something so much more powerful than any prophet or any temple leader. Closing Prayer Father, it's hard for us to make the radical change that the New Testament invites us to believe in and live. And perhaps is because the things that are promised are so extraordinary, so beyond our imagining, that we can be transformed, radically transformed by grace, not by our own efforts, but by gifts that flow from the life of God. It comes to us regularly in his presence, blesses us with openness to that. And we ask this in Jesus' name, Amen. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Why Are Bishops SILENT!? Fr. Nix EXPOSES the Vatican's Globalist Agenda & Marian Betrayal

Fr. David Nix sits down with John-Henry Westen to diagnose the deep crisis he believes is consuming the Catholic Church. He describes the "weird" era younger Catholics have inherited, a time of silent bishops, blurred doctrine, and papal statements that openly contradict perennial teaching.Fr. Nix traces the crisis from Amoris Laetitia and the abortion–death penalty equivalence to the unprecedented downgrading of Marian titles like Mediatrix of All Graces. He argues these aren't isolated errors but part of a broader agenda: the infiltration of globalist ideology and Agenda 2030 into Vatican leadership, creating what he calls a "liberal totalitarianism" within the Church.Despite the gravity, we see a path forward: unflinching truth-telling. He insists that honest clarity—not silence—is what attracts genuine converts and prepares the ground for the divine intervention the Church now desperately needs.HELP SUPPORT WORK LIKE THIS: https://give.lifesitenews.com/?utm_source=CH25_videoU.S. residents!
