Send us a textPicture this: you're excitedly walking down Main Street, U.S.A. when suddenly, the skies open up and unleash a Florida downpour that would make Moana's ocean look tame. Or perhaps you're melting faster than Olaf in summer as the thermometer climbs past 95°F. What do you do when Mother Nature throws a wrench into your carefully planned Disney day?Our latest episode dives deep into surviving (and thriving!) during extreme weather at Disney parks. From the clockwork afternoon thunderstorms of Walt Disney World to the rare but bewildering rain showers that paralyze Southern California visitors at Disneyland, we share stories, strategies, and solutions for making the most of any weather conditions. We kicked off the episode sampling the appropriately named Category 5 drink from Hurricane Hannah's at Disney's Beach Club Resort—a powerful concoction featuring spiced rum, banana rum, peach schnapps, and a dangerous float of Gosling's 151. At $15.50, this three-and-a-half-shot marvel might just be the best tropical drink on property, providing liquid courage for whatever weather challenges lie ahead.Whether it's creating your own impromptu "water park" during heat waves, channeling your inner Gene Kelly during downpours on Main Street, or knowing exactly which indoor shows to target when lightning strikes, we've developed survival strategies through years of sweaty, soggy, and occasionally freezing Disney adventures. We share our favorite hiding spots when the weather turns, the best quick-drying footwear options, and the simple hotel room hack that will save your vacation when your shoes get soaked (hint: it involves washcloths!).From serious hurricane protocols to lighthearted Disney character weather-inspired bounds, we cover the full spectrum of preparing for and embracing whatever Mother Nature throws at you during your Disney vacation. Remember, some of the most memorable park moments happen during unusual weather—fewer crowds, unique photo opportunities, and stories you'll be telling for years to come.Subscribe now and never let weather rain on your Disney parade again! Share your own extreme weather Disney stories with us on social media—we'd love to hear how you've weathered the storms at the Happiest and Most Magical Places on Earth. Here's who we are and what is in store for you

In this powerful episode of Challenge Accepted, Frank and Thomas return to break down the first three episodes of Andor Season 2. With its return, Andor brings layered storytelling, political tension, and the gritty realism that has set it apart from other Star Wars shows. The hosts discuss Cassian's full transformation into a rebel leader, Mon Mothma's personal sacrifices, and the Empire's terrifying strategies of control. From unexpected romances to moral dilemmas and dark parallels with real-world issues, this is a deep dive into one of the most human stories in the galaxy far, far away. Timestamps and Topics: 00:00 Introduction and three-episode format discussion 00:55 The return of Andor and its standout writing 02:00 Cassian's leadership and evolution as a rebel 03:30 Comparing Cassian to Han Solo and grounding Star Wars 06:00 New rebel factions and the fragmented resistance 08:00 Lord of the Flies parallels and chaos in rebellion ranks 09:30 Empire propaganda and the Ministry of Fables 11:00 Cassian's friends facing injustice and survival 13:00 Nazi parallels and real-world reflection in the Empire 15:00 Mon Mothma's emotional journey and her daughter's marriage 18:00 Tension between tradition and rebellion in Mon Mothma's family 21:00 Tay's breakdown and the price of loyalty 24:00 Cassian's jungle mission and factional mistrust 29:00 Symbolism in the children's games and the Empire's power 33:00 The complexity of youthful rebellion 35:00 Mon Mothma's dance and her moment of joy 38:00 The cost of sacrifice and Luthen's moral gray zone 41:00 Dedra and Cyril's disturbing dynamic 44:00 Bix's trauma and the grittiest scene in Star Wars history 47:00 Visual direction and symbolism in the Tie fighter rescue 50:00 Reflecting on Luke Skywalker's role in the original trilogy 54:00 The state of modern Star Wars, The Acolyte, and storytelling standards 57:00 Starfighter, Gosling, and what's next in the galaxy 58:10 Final thoughts and listener callout Key Takeaways: Andor Season 2 deepens its focus on grounded storytelling and moral nuance. Cassian fully embraces his role as a leader, bringing compassion to rebellion. Mon Mothma's storyline explores generational expectations and political sacrifice. Empire propaganda is shown through chillingly realistic parallels to history. The show doesn't shy away from mature, dark themes rarely seen in Star Wars. Visual direction and character writing are among the strongest in the franchise. Quotes: “This isn't just Star Wars. This is storytelling that trusts the audience.” “The rebellion is messy. The empire is clean. That's what makes it terrifying.” “I wish you were drunk... That line hit harder than any explosion.” “Cassian's not just fighting the Empire. He's fighting for people.” Call to Action: Enjoying the deep dives? Support us by leaving a five-star review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify! Click here to try it out!Welcome back to Bad Dads Film Review, where this week we're taking a neon-lit, blood-soaked trip through the moody underworld of Bangkok with Nicolas Winding Refn's Only God Forgives (2013). If you thought Drive was a stylish slow burn, this one cranks up the stillness, strips back the dialogue, and drops you into a hallucinatory revenge opera that's equal parts mesmerizing and maddening.Ryan Gosling stars as Julian, a quiet, emotionally blank drug smuggler running a Muay Thai gym as a front in Bangkok. When his volatile brother Billy is murdered for committing an unspeakable crime, their monstrous mother Crystal (Kristin Scott Thomas) arrives in town demanding vengeance. Julian is reluctantly pulled into a spiral of violence and surreal symbolism, facing off against Chang (Vithaya Pansringarm), a sword-wielding police lieutenant who dispenses his own brutal, godlike justice. Refn drenches the screen in glowing reds and deep shadows, pairing every scene with an eerie, droning score from Cliff Martinez. The film is light on plot and even lighter on dialogue—Gosling speaks fewer than 20 lines—but the atmosphere is thick enough to cut with a katana.Only God Forgives is a fever dream of a film—icy cold yet visually scorching. It's like a revenge thriller that's been put through a Lynchian blender, leaving behind a hushed, haunted meditation on masculinity, vengeance, and judgement. If you want action, go elsewhere. If you want mood and madness, step right in.

Send us a textIt's one thing to get advice on how to parent, it's another to have independent studies that give real evidence on how well one approach works rather than another. Faced with raising two young kids in a COVID lockdown, social scientist and skilled researcher Matilda Gosling looked for a book that gave her advice that was based on sound evidence. She discovered that such a book didn't exist, so set out to write it.Described by investigative journalist Hannah Barnes as 'A rare entity: a parenting book that is accessible, well evidenced, practical, gritty and not hectoring. In short, one that is genuinely helpful.' I knew we all needed to hear about what Matilda had found. THE BOOKTeenagers: The Evidence Base, weaves together insights from fields including social and experimental psychology, neuroscience, family systems and adolescent development. CONTACTING MATILDA:https://www.matildagosling.com/https://www.linkedin.com/in/matilda-gosling-11a95521/?originalSubdomain=ukhttps://matildagosling.substack.com/In the interview we cover:Navigating the ups and downs of the teenage years - The book discusses how the teenage years are not just constant "storms and stress" but have complex weather patterns with both positive and negative aspects.Supporting teenagers' identity exploration - The book advises letting teenagers experiment with different identities and not labeling them, to allow them room to continue developing.Facilitating healthy friendships and relationships - The discussion covers how parents can support their teenager's friendships, even if they don't approve of all their friends, and have conversations about healthy romantic relationships.Talking to teens about sex and sexuality - The book emphasizes the importance of parents proactively discussing sex, sexuality, and porn with teenagers, rather than leaving it to schools or the media.Maintaining self-care as a parent - The book stresses that parents taking care of their own needs and well-being is crucial for supporting their teenager's well-being.Support the showThank you so much for your support. Welcome to Multiverse News, Your source for Information about all your favorite fictional universes Last Wednesday morning, Marvel Television treated fans to the long awaited first official teaser trailer for Daredevil: Born Again. The trailer was met with universal praise for its dark tone and brutal depictions of violence, elements that it shares with the beloved Netflix series. The nine-episode first season premieres March 4 on Disney Plus. In some Captain America news, it was confirmed that Brave New World will have a total runtime of one hour and 58 minutes, which ties it with Ant-Man & The Wasp as the seventh shortest MCU flick to date. It will also be the first Captain America film under two hours long. It's brand new news today, Ryan Gosling is in negotiations to star in Shawn Levy's future Star Wars film. Levy's film has been in development with Lucasfilm since 2022, and getting Gosling seems like it could be a major step in getting the film truly off the ground and into the galaxy far, far away. Last we knew, the film was not to be set within the Skywalker saga The use of AI has been a frequent hot topic for Hollywood in recent years, reaching a seeming fever pitch during the 2023 WGA and SAG AFTRA strikes as a major point of negotiation. While the dust seemed to have settled a bit with the resolution of those strikes, new controversies plaguing high profile films and filmmakers have brought the discussion back to the forefront. First, Taxi Driver writer and First Reformed director, Paul Schrader, opined, in a since much lambasted Facebook post, the benefits of using a platform like ChatGPT for film ideas, in contrast to waiting the months it can take writers to ideate. Elsewhere, awards season favorite and Oscar hopeful, The Brutalist, has come under fire after an editor revealed generative A.I. was used to enhance the authenticity of the lead performers Hungarian accents. Emily Beecham and David Krumholtz have signed on to Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, portraying the parents of Kara Zor-El. Production on the DC Studios film commenced last week. Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for “Until Dawn,” the live-action adaptation of the popular 2015 PlayStation horror game. The film is currently set to be released on April 25th. After nearly 15 years of shaping Spider-Man's adventures at Marvel Comics, Eisner Award winner Dan Slott is making the move to DC. The acclaimed writer will make his DC debut on Superman Unlimited, a new monthly series featuring art by American Vampire co-creator Rafael Albuquerque. Westworld star Thandiwe Newton and Silo's Steve Zahn have joined Paul Rudd and Jack Black in Columbia's comedy reboot of Anaconda. Nintendo has revealed its Switch 2 console with first look images and a teaser trailer, confirming a 2025 release. Uma Thurman has joined the cast of Dexter series Dexter: Resurrection and will star alongside Michael C. Hall. Filmmaker David Lynch, who created celebrated counterculture classics like Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, and co-created Twin Peaks, has died at 78. A24 and Picturestart are teaming with director Charlie Polinger for a revisionist and darkly comedic take on The Masque of The Red Death, based on the short story of the same name by Edgar Allen Poe. Sydney Sweeney is currently in negotiations to star. After extensive negotiations, IMAX has secured a deal to exclusively screen Greta Gerwig's Netflix adaptation of "Narnia" in theaters worldwide for two weeks, beginning Thanksgiving 2026, before its streaming debut that Christmas. Joel McHale has joined the cast of Scream 7 and will play Mark Evans, the husband to Neve Campbell's Sidney Prescott. A24 has released the first trailer for upcoming horror film Opus, which hits theaters on March 14th. The film stars Ayo Edebiri, John Malkovich, Murray Bartlett, Juliette Lewis, and Amber Midthunder.
Robert Winfree, Alexis Hejna and Mark Radulich present their Wolf Man 2025 Movie Review!Wolf Man is a 2025 American horror film directed by Leigh Whannell from a screenplay he co-wrote with Corbett Tuck. A reboot of The Wolf Man (1941), the film stars Christopher Abbott, Julia Garner, and Sam Jaeger. The plot follows a family man seeking to protect his wife and daughter from a werewolf, only to become infected and slowly transform into the creature. Jason Blum produces alongside his Blumhouse Productions banner. The film was announced in 2014 and was to be part of the Dark Universe, a shared cinematic universe centered on the Universal Monsters. Aaron Guzikowski and David Callaham were attached to write the script. After the failure of The Mummy (2017), Universal shifted its focus to standalone films. The success of Whannell's The Invisible Man (2020) rekindled Universal's interest in the Monsters franchise. They accepted a pitch by Ryan Gosling, who was also set to star, for a new Wolf Man film with Derek Cianfrance to direct. However, Cianfrance left the project in 2023 and Gosling dropped out of the role, remaining as executive producer while Whannell took over as director with a new cast. Principal photography occured in New Zealand in early 2024.Wolf Man was released in the United States by Universal Pictures on January 17, 2025. The film received mixed reviews from critics and has grossed $16.8 million.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsohttps://www.teepublic.com/user/radulich-in-broadcasting-networkFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76RIBN Album Playlist: https://suno.com/playlist/91d704c9-d1ea-45a0-9ffe-5069497bad59

Based on a 1980s television show of the same name, The Fall Guy seemed to be on course to be the summer season's first hit. Screening more than a month before its release at South by Southwest, the buzz (reviews included) for the Ryan Gosling/Emily Blunt film was strong. And with Gosling—who plays the titular character Colt Seavers—coming off of Barbie, his movie star bonafides had never been stronger. Yet, despite all that momentum, The Fall Guy failed to break the bank. It grossed just north of $181 million. Its budget was rumored to be around $150 million—resulting in a break even point of roughly $275 million. The Fall Guy deserved so much better during its theatrical run, especially considering the hell all the stunt people went through to deliver this delightful gem. Now, sit back, take the liquid courage leap after a Long Leash from Sleepy Dog Brewing, and attaque! AT LONG LAST the GBGBs review the final movie in the Ryan Gosling season, Barbie (2023). The BTS for this review was a logistical nightmare but we were glad to wrap up the season on a high note with probably the most iconic movie of this decade. The Gos-man plays Ken, whose job is beach, and he also sings a song in an extended dance-off musical number near the end of the movie. If you haven't seen this movie yet, what are you even doing? Thanks for stopping by!
