This week I'm doing something a little different. Because I'm talking about the collective rage (or helplessness) many of us might be feeling about the state of the world right now. And how we can use that to actually stop shrinking…and instead have an amazing impact on the world. How we personally can empower ourselves through things like redefining productivity, learning to rest without guilt, offering ourselves greater self compassion and breaking free from diet culture. The ultimate rebellion in a world that thrives from our sacrifice. And this isn't just about women's empowerment and rejecting hustle culture. It's about the fact that the more of us who stand up for ourselves and lean into a greater sense of self worth, the greater a ripple effect we create collectively. Here's what we'll cover:Why our anger is actually our powerThe systems that are keeping us distracted (our weight, our productivity and people pleasing)How we can all create a ripple effect when we stop shrinking and ultimately make this world a better place for all of usRESOURCES:Secret (& Free) Limited Podcast: Confident As F**k (Even When You're Not There Yet)Work with me: www.lifeeditcoaching.comInstagram: @lifeeditwithalix

TAKE THE CHALLENGEWhat does Proverbs 19 teach about being a good person in real life — not just in theory? In this powerful faith-based podcast episode about leadership, integrity, wisdom, and everyday character decisions, we explore how one simple moment on a morning dog walk became a real-world test of faith, obedience, and personal responsibility. You've probably had a moment like this. You're walking through your normal routine… life feels ordinary… and then suddenly you're faced with a decision that nobody else will see. No audience. No applause. Just you, your conscience, and a choice that quietly defines who you are becoming. On a morning walk, inspired by Proverbs 19, what started as a peaceful routine turned into an unexpected spiritual crossroads: my dog did what dogs do… and I realized I had no poop bags.Cue the internal debate.Do you walk away and pretend you didn't notice?Or do you choose integrity when no one is watching? What followed was a literal and spiritual backtrack — walking farther than planned, wrestling with frustration, questioning whether doing the right thing was even worth the inconvenience. And right there, in that ordinary moment, God spoke clearly:Be a good person. But the story didn't end there. When I finally opened Proverbs 19 afterward, the message hit differently. It wasn't just encouragement — it was a blueprint for how to live wisely, lead faithfully, and build a life grounded in character. In this episode, YOU step into the hero's journey — because every listener faces daily decisions that shape identity, reputation, and legacy. This conversation helps you recognize how small choices become spiritual turning points. How walking in integrity shapes your future more than quick successWhy haste and desire without wisdom lead to regretThe danger of blaming God for our own decisionsWhy truth, generosity, and discipline build lasting influenceHow patience and wisdom create real leadership powerThe importance of guarding what you hear and seePractical ways to stay consistent in your relationship with GodProverbs 19 reminds us:Walk in integrity instead of rushing like a foolSeek wisdom before actionTell the truthHonor familyBe diligent — laziness never winsStay generous and celebrate othersAccept correction and grow wiserSpend time with God daily and allow transformation to happenThis episode isn't about perfection. It's about alignment.Because the real question isn't: What would a good person do?The real question is: Who are you becoming when nobody is watching? If you're searching for faith-based motivation, personal development, biblical leadership principles, or practical wisdom from Proverbs, this conversation will challenge and encourage you to live with intention — one decision at a time.

Send a textIt was a privilege to sit down with my dear friend Jenn Villalobos to discuss a topic that's often overlooked: what it truly means to live in exile.Jenn has been in exile from Venezuela for 27 years, part of the more than 9.5 million Venezuelans (30% of the population) forced to leave their homeland since the 90s. In this deeply personal conversation, she shares her journey from growing up between the US and Venezuela in the 1970s and 80s, to witnessing the dramatic transformation of her country, to making the impossible choice to never return. In this episode, we discuss:What life was like in Venezuela before and after Hugo Chávez came to powerThe rapid descent from prosperity to crisis through corruption and oppressionThe personal cost of exile: losing friends, family separation, and raising children without their cultural rootsThe fear, grief, and survival mode that comes with watching your country collapse from afarThe cautious hope emerging after Maduro's capture, and why change will take timeWhat the rest of us can do: "Please don't look away. What if the real reason you can't hear your intuition is that there hasn't been enough space to listen? If your intuition feels quiet (or chaotic) you're not alone. In this potent episode, Jessica welcomes back medium and spiritual teacher Taylor Paige for an expansive conversation on what it truly takes to connect with your intuitive gifts in our fast-paced, overstimulated world.Together, they explore why nervous system regulation is the gateway to intuition and spiritual awakening, how “clearing the cobwebs” of mental noise is a non-negotiable step, and how healing the spirit wound allows you to reclaim your power as your own oracle. Taylor shares the link between nervous system work, intuition, and manifestation, and reminds us that intuition isn't something a select few are born with. It's something we all carry. If you've ever thought, “I just don't have intuition,” this conversation gently invites you to reconsider that limiting belief. From getting comfortable with silence, allowing emotions to move through you, and understanding how your healing ripples outward, to realizing that the pings and downloads you've been waiting for may have been knocking all along, there's something in this conversation meant to meet you exactly where you are.Find the complete show notes here -> https://tobemagnetic.com/expanded-podcast Resources: Return to Magic - 15 Day Manifestation ChallengeA 15-day guided journey to reparent your inner child, reconnect with your magic, and step into this new year as your most confident, regulated, and magnetic self yet. 1 Kings 18:16-211. Some gods never answerAnd here's the tragic irony: The more your god doesn't answer, the MORE you sacrifice to it. The prophets of Baal started dancing. Then shouting. Then cutting themselves. Why? Because when your god doesn't work, you think: "I'm not doing enough. I need to try harder."I heard someone once call it “ the treadmill of false worship.”2. One God always answers1 Kings 18:36-39Because it is not about how much you pray, it's about WHO you pray to.prayer isn't about convincing a reluctant God to do what we want. Prayer is accessing the power of a God who WANTS to answer, who LOVES to reveal Himself, who DELIGHTS to turn hearts back to Him.3. When God answers, hearts change4. In today's episode of What's New with ME, host Ali Mehdaoui breaks down the stories dominating the national and global news cycle — without the noise, spin, or partisan theatrics.Former President Donald Trump is making headlines after comments signaling a shift away from a “peace-first” foreign policy, placing renewed emphasis on U.S. strategic dominance and reopening discussions around Greenland's geopolitical importance. What does this mean for NATO allies, Arctic security, and America's role on the world stage? At home, the Pentagon has confirmed that 1,500 federal troops are on standby amid rising tensions in Minnesota, raising serious questions about federal authority, civil liberties, and the line between preparedness and escalation. This episode also examines how major networks — CNN, CBS, MSNBC, and Fox News — are framing these developments, and why understanding media narratives is just as important as knowing the facts themselves. If you're looking for context, clarity, and calm analysis during a heated news cycle, this episode is for you.Topics Covered:Trump's latest comments on Greenland and global powerThe strategic importance of the Arctic regionFederal troops on standby in Minnesota — what's confirmed vs speculationDomestic unrest, federal authority, and constitutional concernsHow mainstream media outlets are framing today's top storiesSubscribe for informed commentary, thoughtful analysis, and real conversations about the moments shaping our world.

A Strong Imagination | Neville Goddard LectureThis episode of The Neville Goddard Lectures Podcast features the full original lecture “A Strong Imagination” by Neville Goddard. In A Strong Imagination, Neville Goddard clarifies that imagination is not fantasy or wishful thinking, but the creative power that shapes all experience. He explains that a “strong” imagination is not one that strains or forces outcomes, but one that accepts an assumed state as natural and real.Neville teaches that imagination becomes strong through consistency and inner conviction. When an imaginal act is entered into feelingly and sustained without contradiction, it impresses the subconscious and sets the creative law in motion. Weak imagination wavers between states; strong imagination remains faithful to the assumption.Throughout the lecture, Neville emphasizes that imagination does not compete with circumstances or reason. It operates independently of appearances. What feels real inwardly must externalize in time, because consciousness can only express what it has accepted as true.Key themes explored in this lecture include:Imagination as the sole creative powerThe difference between effort and inner acceptanceWhy feeling natural is stronger than visual intensityFaithfulness to an assumption as creative strengthNeville reminds listeners that strength in imagination is developed through disciplined inner alignment, not emotional force. When imagination is stabilized in a fulfilled state, the outer world reorganizes automatically to reflect it.This lecture reinforces Neville's central teaching that imagination creates reality and that mastery comes from learning to dwell inwardly in the state one chooses to express. This podcast is devoted to preserving and sharing Neville Goddard's original lectures in full, allowing listeners to study his teachings directly as they were delivered. For structured study resources, original lecture archives, and deeper exploration of Neville Goddard's teachings, visit NevilleGoddardOfficial.com.To explore practical application of The Law, listen to The Mindset and Manifesting Podcast. For discussions on The Promise and spiritual awakening, listen to The Journey of Awakening Podcast.

As Nonprofit leaders, we all have a relationship with power. But it's not something that we tend to take a look at much. And I think perhaps the reason for that is what a lot of Nonprofit leaders tell me – that they're not super comfortable with the concept of power. Today I want to really dig into some questions that will help us all understand our relationship with power a little bit better, and perhaps begin to shift that relationship a little bit. The thing is, our relationship with power is often pretty complex. What we don't always consider is that we're also walking around with a whole set of beliefs about power that shape that relationship. Our beliefs about power in particular have been shaped over a lifetime of experience. But they've also been informed by things we heard growing up. And by the environment we're operating in now. If we're operating in an environment with a lot of other Nonprofit leaders, and that's our primary thought ecosystem, what happens a lot is that we start reinforcing one another's beliefs about power. And what I've noticed is that a lot of times those beliefs may not always be serving us very well. In fact, they may be holding us back from the things we most want. In this episode, we share:How and why our beliefs about power affect our actions and decisionsThe most common beliefs about power held by many Nonprofit leadersA simple exercise to help you uncover your hidden beliefs about powerThe most powerful questions you can ask yourself to rewire your beliefsHow to change your relationship with power to one that truly serves you Ready to take your messaging and engagement skills to the next level and start getting next-level results? What if your desire isn't dangerous, but divine? In this deeply transformative episode, Emily sits down with Dr. Kimberly Rose Pendleton, an intimacy coach, scholar, and founder of UNCOVER, to explore what it means to heal from purity culture and reclaim your body, your voice, and your power. Together, they unravel centuries of conditioning that taught women to equate goodness with obedience and holiness with self-denial, and invite listeners into a radical reframe: that pleasure is sacred, not selfish.Kimberly shares her personal story of deconstructing evangelical beliefs, walking away from a marriage that no longer fit, and rediscovering her aliveness through the practice of pleasure. Rooted in her academic background at Yale and her years of coaching women around the world, she blends intellect and embodiment in a way that feels both revolutionary and deeply human. From the theology of Mary Magdalene to the lived reality of womanhood today, she illuminates how pleasure becomes a path back to the divine, and how reclaiming it is one of the most powerful ways women can heal from religious trauma, shame, and repression.Emily and Kimberly dive into the hidden history of Mary Magdalene, a wealthy, powerful spiritual leader erased and rewritten as a sinner by the early Church, and what her true story reveals about the fear of feminine wisdom. They explore how purity culture and patriarchy sought to silence women's voices, sexual expression, and intuition, and why remembering the Magdalene lineage is an act of both spiritual and societal revolution.Whether you grew up in the church or simply absorbed the cultural messaging that your worth depends on being “good,” this conversation is an invitation to return to yourself. To soften the shame, to listen to your body, and to remember that your joy, your sensuality, and your truth are not something to hide, they're the very portals to your power, purpose, and divine connection. In this episode, we explore:How purity culture continues to shape women's bodies, relationships, and sense of worth, even outside organized religionWhy pleasure is sacred, not selfish, and how reconnecting with it helps women return to their powerThe connection between pleasure, spirituality, and embodiment, and why they were never meant to be separateThe hidden truth about Mary Magdalene, her role as a wealthy priestess, spiritual leader, and symbol of feminine wisdom erased by patriarchyWhat the Gospel of Mary reveals about women's direct access to the divine, and why her story was rewritten by the early ChurchHow patriarchy and purity culture weaponized holiness, shame, and obedience to control women's bodies and voicesPractical ways to begin reclaiming pleasure and power in everyday life, through beauty, embodiment, and self-trustThe ripple effect of women in their pleasure, how wholeness, joy, and desire create collective healing and transformationBe sure to hit subscribe so you never miss the latest episode!Connect & Work with Dr. Kimberly Rose Pendleton:Harlots & Heretics — a three-part journey through the hidden, holy history of women labeled “dangerous,” guiding you to reclaim your own sacred power.

Life is tender and messy and miraculous all at once. In this solo episode, Emily invites you into a reflection on the beautiful, brutal art of holding it all—the grief and the gratitude, the darkness and the light, the exhaustion and the quiet magic of simply being alive.Fresh off a transformative retreat and deep in the waves of pregnancy, she opens up about what it means to sit in discomfort without needing to fix it, to honor both the shadows and the blessings, and to find holiness in the wholeness of being human. This is an episode about slowing down enough to feel it all—to remember that life itself is the occasion, not something to earn once everything feels perfect.Emily explores the tension between what's hard and what's holy, sharing personal stories of grief, rage, beauty, and creativity. You don't have to rush through this season or mask the hard parts. You get to hold the darkness, create the magic, and call it all sacred. In this episode, I explore:The beautiful and brutal truth of being fully alive — learning to hold both joy and grief, light and shadow, beauty and chaos as sacred parts of the human experienceThe power of sitting in discomfort without bypassing it, fixing it, or rushing it, and how this practice deepens emotional intelligence, presence, and embodimentHow pregnancy, physical limitations, and seasons of surrender can become portals for personal growth, compassion, and feminine wisdomThe conditioning that teaches women to “be fine,” to smile through pain, and to disconnect from their truth, and how to reclaim your wholeness by allowing yourself to feel it allThe sacred work of shadow integration and self-trust—how to hold rage, grief, and sadness without shame and see them as gateways to authenticity and powerThe healing energy of sisterhood, nurturance, and creativity, and how gathering in safe, intentional spaces reminds us that we were never meant to do life aloneWhat it means to live from wholeness instead of chasing it—remembering that your worth isn't earned through productivity, perfection, or performanceHow to cultivate intentionality and ritual in everyday life by bringing presence, beauty, and creativity into the small, ordinary momentsWhy living an aligned, soul-led life is both mystical and mundane, and how to honor your humanity as deeply as your divinityA gentle reminder that life itself is the occasion—an invitation to slow down, feel deeply, and celebrate the sacredness of being here nowBe sure to hit subscribe so you never miss the latest episode!Connect with Emily:Website: www.EmilyReuschel.comInstagram: @emilyreuschelFacebook: Emily ReuschelLinkedIn: Emily ReuschelJoin my Book Insiders List: Sign up here!Resources and Links:Episode 119 | How to Create...

Episode 714 - This is your wake-up call. Most people live life on cruise control — replaying the same choices, beliefs, and habits year after year. Then they wonder why nothing changes. The truth? You're always at a fork in the road:
It's been over a year since we've talked about cybersecurity on Manufacturing Happy Hour, and with AI changing the game completely, we're overdue for a refresh. Around 80-85% of the global industry doesn't have basic defense at the edge of their networks; that's a sobering statistic.Felipe Sabino Costa, Senior Product Manager for Networking and Cybersecurity at Moxa, joins the show to break down why Operational Technology (OT) security matters more than ever. Manufacturers need to transmit massive amounts of data for AI and predictive analytics, but they're working with 15–20-year-old infrastructure that wasn't built for this. The good news is, Felipe shares practical frameworks like NIST and IEC 62443 (which he compares to nutrition labels) that help manufacturers build security into their operations. The key takeaway? There's no silver bullet; it's about building layers of defense and finding the right partners. In this episode, find out:Why OT data has shifted from historical logging to real-time predictive powerThe bandwidth issue hitting intelligent transportation systems and semiconductor manufacturingHow AI enables attackers to adapt their attacks in real-timeWhy 80-85% of global industry lacks protectionFelipe's nutrition label analogy for understanding security certificationsThe difference between thinking your air-gapped and actually being air-gappedWhy defense requires multiple layers of securityFelipe's outlook on the future of OT networksEnjoying the show? They have some defense, but they have nearly zero protection close to the process itself.”“There is no silver bullet. We are seeing this shift right from how we used to do security.
