Co-founder and CEO of the iconic fashion brand Nasty Pig and author of the newly-released memoir Sodomy Gods, David joins Judson and Brian to talk about 30 years of championing sex positivity, the potential for sharing queer generational knowledge, concerns about the LGBTQ+ community fragmenting, and demystifying the blockers keeping one from pursuing their dreams. David then helps Judson and Brian answer a series of Go Ask Your Dad questions submitted by people in the audience, including one about introducing Daddy/Son roleplay into a relationship where both members feel more like a Daddy than a Son.

In the podcast episode, Tim, Wayne, and the duo Ryan and Will discuss various issues related to underwear for "beefy boys." Tim introduces the show and announces the return of group shows based on popular demand. They also talk about the challenges of finding the right size and fit in underwear, with different brands having inconsistent sizing and cuts. They mention issues such as tightness on the legs, discomfort in the crotch area, lack of room in the butt, and waistbands that are either too tight or stretch out easily. The conversation touches on swimwear sizing and the limited options for larger sizes, especially in certain brands. They also express frustration with companies that seem to exclude certain sizes or body types from their product range. Wayne specifically mentions a recent disappointing purchase of underwear that did not fit properly. Overall, the discussion revolves around the difficulties beefy guys face in finding comfortable and well-fitting underwear. Wayne shares his experiences with ill-fitting swimwear and mentions Nasty Pig and Andrew Christian as his favorite brands. Steaks_N_Cakes recommends MCE and Thicc for swimwear and praises their comfortable sizing. Tim mentions his favorites, including Cock Socks and a flamingo swim brief. They also discuss jocks and their favorite brands, such as Meat, 2xist, and Nasty Pig. Wayne emphasizes the importance of jockstrap straps being properly designed for larger boys. Overall, the conversation revolves around their preferences, experiences, and brand recommendations for swimwear, underwear, and jocks suitable for bigger boys. Big COVID energy. What don't we talk about? Paul started watching Vanderpump Rules for the first time and solved the mystery of the 7-11 Corona Bandit, and then we go into how the Coronavirus is teaching people how to live in a society, why quarantining is really designed to curb the worst among us, the cancelled New York Democratic Primary, DeBlasio's "Jewish" gaffe, unpacking the syntax, his intent, the Internet's outrage, and what it reflects. Also: Cuomosexuals, the cudgel of victimization, regional controversies and our new New York relativism, Zoom funerals, social distancing cops, pandemic as equalizer, Jeff Goldblum's Drag Race controversy, abusing oneself to please one's parents, the liberal obsession with lesser evils, post-millennial fusion of self and brand how it erodes the art of drag, delusional American exceptionalist fantasies of first-world status, and the conflation of otherness with virtue. Paul comes out as trad Cath and we reminisce about Catholic child molestors, and realize middle-aged Catholic smokers are the new tabloid sex symbols (Chris Cuomo and Ben Affleck). We also talk about why podcasters, YouTubers, and porn stars are the post-COVID entrepreneurial class, Hillary Clinton's graboid bid for the running mate slot, Rebecca Traister's Biden Trap essay, the spinelessness of the Democratic Party's leadership, and finally...a message from the CEO of Nasty Pig. David, the head wolf of Nasty Pig, stopped by to dish the history of building a brand that celebrates sex without saying sorry.
David Lauterstein runs a $3.2mil retail outlet called Nasty Pig – but that doesn’t mean he’s been profitable! David has implemented Profit First and experienced a turn in his business; we coach him through a couple tips on how to take his business to the next level. Sometimes, bigger questions get bigger answers – and that’s exactly what we guide David through.
Part 1 (9 - 10:15 PM) What an amazing night! It was my honor and privilege to DJ Fred and Jason's 8th Annual Halloweenie party in Los Angeles this year, opening for the absolutely amazing DJ Dave Aude. I wanted everyone to have more than pictures to remember the night by, so I recorded my set and I'm posting it in 2 parts here. Please share it if you enjoy it. One disclaimer, on Part 1, I had to cut out a couple of tracks that I'm not able to post online, out of courtesy for the DJs who passed along the remixes, so you'll hear a jump cut in one place between Avicii/Gotye and Rihanna/Right Now (where I cropped out these aforementioned wo mixes). Hope to see many of you on the dance floor again this weekend! My Upcoming Live Schedule: October 31st (Halloween night): Tortilla Republic, West Hollywood, 11 PM - 3 AM (DJ Dan Knapp plays before!) November 3rd – Size Sundays, Here lounge, West Hollywood November 9th - Rasputin: Russian Love Machine, West Hollywood November 15th - Stripper Circus, Share Nightclub, Las Vegas November 22nd - Fresh Fridays, Eleven, West Hollywood January 11th - Rasputin: Russian Love Machine, West Hollywood February 21st - 23rd, 2014 - Elevation: Utah (Park City gay ski week) The Tracklist: DJ Blacklow's Halloweenie Intro / "Sweet Dreams," Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams 2011 (Dirty Secretz Mix)," Eurythmics "All Night (Wayne G & LFB Anthem Mix)," Icona Pop "Feel The Love" (DJ Grind and Toy Armada Mix), Cahill & Kimberley Locke "Listen To The Music (Rampantly Pleasant Club Mix)," The Doobie Brothers "Dive '13 (Isaac Escalante & Xavier Santos Mix)," Debby Holiday "Levels vs. Somebody That I Used To Know," Avicii vs. Gotye (...jump cut) "Right Now vs. El Tigre (Chad Jack Vs Alex Acosta Edit)," Rihanna "Turn the Night Up (Laidback Luke Club Mix)," Enrique Iglesias "Monsters Gotta Show Me How to Love the Night (Drew G's Dirty Pop mash-up)," Lady Gaga vs. Robin S vs. Beyonce "Make Some Noise (DJ Escape and Tony Coluccio Club Mix)," Inaya Day and DJ Escape "People Like Us (Paulo & Jackinsky United Remix)," Kelly Clarkson "Imparable Throb (Chad Jack Edit)," Janet Jackson "Fired Up (Tommy Love B.D.S.F. Once again, we were thrilled to be invited by RSVP Vacations to step aboard their Southern Caribbean Cruise last week to tape an episode of the Swish Edition in front of a live studio audience on the ship. Hosts Scott & Steve (Dale sadly missed the boat) came away with some great stuff for y'all! In fact, there was so much of it, we had to release this week's episode in two parts. This is Swish on RSVP Part Two; Part One is available, too. It features the Gay Pimp himself, Jonny McGovern and the very funny Poppi Kramer. First up, the boys welcome back to the show, the incomparable and beautiful Frenchie Davis. Like all of our guests on the cruise, Frenchie was one of the featured entertainers and this power-house singer certainly blew the roof off the theater's roof on the first night. When she sat down with us, she talked about her time on reality TV; how she creates her cover and original song arrangements; why she decided to sport the bald look; why her size K breasts need some loving support; and much more. It's a great conversation that y'all will enjoy. After that, the hilarious and chicken-lovin' comedienne Jessica Kirson steps up to the stage. She'll have you in stitches when she talks about the black woman inside; her masturbatory methods; her new role as a cop in a major motion picture; her step-brother Zach Braff; her thoughts on gay cruises; and OH so much more. Jessica has become a great friend of the show and each and every time she's on, she makes up spit up our drinks! In a good way. But the piece de resistance is the Slight Dirty Gay Password game we play at the end of the episode. Frenchie and Jessica each teamed up with a member of the audience for a game show like none you've ever seen--or heard--before! Trust us, it's funny. And it ends with prizes donated by our good friends at Nasty Pig clothing company! And finally, a big thank you to the great folks at RSVP for all of their help and their kind invitation. A special shout out goes to Jeff Gundvaldson, Rachel Pearson and Brad Loekle!
We're back! After a month away, Dale, Scott & Steve are back with the first episode of 2013, featuring Nasty Pig clothing company founders David Lauterstein & Fred Kearney in-studio. David and Fred tell us how they're slowly taking over the "bad boy," edgy clothing world by storm; all about their hot new #iamnastypig campaign (featuring one hottie named Matt in particular, see his video below); how they've managed to work and live together as a couple for 20+ years; how they design their clothes in order to help people get laid; why they chose a female for an upcoming campaign; why they are moving to a bigger store in Manhattan; and, much more. As David says, Fred and he are living, "...the great American wet dream." Gotta love that! Our chat with David & Fred starts at the 38:45 minute mark. (A longer, uncut version of the interview is available at SwishEdition.com.) Also on the show, the boys talk about what's been going on in their lives in the last several weeks including their holiday partying, Dale & Scott's trip to Las Vegas, Steve's escapades at Mid-Atlantic Leather, Britney Spears' possible residency in Sin City, Justin Timberlake's first new song in six years, we're wasting money on another inaugural for a sitting president, Grindr's Best of 2012 awards, the Do-Gooder & the Douche of the week, Super Gonorrhea and much more.
We love to support gay business and continue our tradition of championing the ones that are getting it right. And we love when people come see us in the studio. And when that guy happens to be the co-founder and CEO of the hottest brands of fetish wear and related products on the scene--Nasty Pig--we're over the moon. David Lauterstein was in Washington, DC for the annual Mid-Atlantic Leather weekend and he took time out of his busy schedule to hang with Dale, Scott & Steve over a few beers. This guy started with a closet-sized store front in Manhattan, a sewing machine and a measly $50, and over the course of 17 years, has created quite a juggernaut. David shares stories about products that took off; how their super hot new jeans model got the job (see him below...and, um, to our dismay, he's straight!); his absolute commitment to high-quality products and construction; and, his definition of what his brand is really all about: "A nasty pig is a man who walks the street owning it." Need a jockstrap? Play sheets? Leather pants? Or some kick-ass jeans? Nasty Pig's got it. And, sure, we're doing a commercial, but when we love something, we love to share! Dale, Scott & Steve also discuss: Their adventures at Mid-Atlantic Leather last weekend (see the pics below); Steve's trip to Atlantic City to see Kelly Clarkson; Scott goes to see Sherry Vine and Peppermint perform; Cyndi Lauper isn't happy with the use of "True Colors" for political reasons; A bitter Elton John & David Furnish rip into Madonna; Did Jodie Foster get outed because of her beaver?; Funny gal Aisha Tyler speaks out about same-sex marriage; ABC cancels the controversial Work It; One of Costa's ships sinks in Italy--are we scared?; Calvin Klein's on-again, off-again super hot 21 year old boy toy (see him below); and, Much more gay hilarity!
Say it isn't so! Christmas is just 24 days away? We haven't even made out our lists for Santa yet. And while we're not exactly in the holiday spirit quite yet, we're doing our best to be merry. And that's not too hard when Dale, Scott & Steve get together in the studio for some fun. On this first episode of December, we talk about our Thanksgiving trips; shopping on Black Friday; Dale's ass (again); Steve's deep dark tan; Nasty Pig's new jeans commercial (um, will ya just look at the photo of their model to the right; we'll take that, Santa Claus); GetUp!'s tear-worthy new viral video; Pat Robertson and macaroni & cheese; we're watching George Michael's health; and, we'll tell you why you shouldn't be giving money to the Salvation Army's annoying bell ringers. Oh, and did we mention that Steve got an out-of-this-world offer you've just GOT to hear for yourself. Dale & Scott were left with their chins on the floor. Nearly literally. We've got Kevin Keller's interracial marriage; Dale & Scott prepare for their trip to Hollywood next week to cover the Trevor Live event; we've got our next pick for the best holiday movies ever; and, much more news and gay hilarity. And because we can't do it all on our own, we're thrilled to welcome gay etiquette expert & noted author STEVEN PETROW back on the show with some really useful tips and hints for all of our gay brothers and sisters this holiday season. Steven is a columnist for the Advocate.com and he's got a book we know that you'll love:
Attending a benefit, ass raping in a metal bar, Thinning The Herd, gay guys doing laundry on Sunday, RJ gets fucked by daddy, fantasy football, bitching about men, Chris has a surprise song for RJ, and much more is talked about in this episode. We'd love to hear from you! You can call or text us at 815-408-0757, email us at acupoffreshhell@gmail.com, or leave us a comment on the blog. Music in this episode: It's a surprise!
