A qualified tuition program (QTP), also referred to as a section 529 plan, is a program established and maintained by a state, or an agency or instrumentality of a state, that allows a contributor either to prepay a beneficiary's qualified higher education expenses at an eligible educational institution or to contribute to an account for paying those expenses. Eligible educational institutions can also establish and maintain QTPs but only to allow prepaying a beneficiary's qualified higher education expenses. Qualified higher education expenses include tuition expenses in connection with a designated beneficiary's enrollment or attendance at an elementary or secondary public, private, or religious school, i.e. kindergarten through grade 12, up to a total amount of $10,000 per year from all of the designated beneficiary's QTPs. It also includes expenses for fees, books, supplies, and equipment required for the participation in an apprenticeship program registered and certified with the Secretary of Labor and qualified education loan repayments in limited amounts. www.fender-tax.com

Quasar, apart from being an accomplished actor, writer, director and a producer, Q is also founder of Thespo Theatre festival which completed 20 years last December 2018. Toral is all things backstage. Toral started working full-time with QTP productions since June 2001. She worked in the capacity of administrator, in-house graphics designer, lights/sound operator, production manager and stage manager. She was the festival director of ‘Thespo’ in 2002 and from 1999 onwards has been the festival’s coordinator and art director. You travel across India for Thespo, big and small centres. What is transpiring across? Where do you think the real action lies when it comes to telling stories? Me and My team performed at Thespo almost 15 years back, how do you remember most of us and the name of the play also? What is the secret behind it? What are the significant changes you have seen in the Youth Mumbai theatre world in the last 20 years. This is w.r.t to performances, story telling, productions, acting, and more from creators stand point. You have published 4 plays in 2018. Can you tell us more about it? What and why?

Black Earl from Eunice, LA, is a humble 30yr old Hip Hop/Rap Artist ready to captivate the world with his smooth, melodic flow.  In May 2014, everything Black Earl had been working hard to obtain finally came to pass. We're continuing our college series with an in-depth discussion of 529 plans. 529 plans are incredibly popular in all their permutations. (Many people who are currently participating in a 529 plan don't actually realize it because they refer to it as a pre-paid tuition program.) They're also under attack. President Obama's most recent budget proposal targeted them for change. (It also targeted Coverdell ESAs.) Personally, I think 529 plans are often misused and mis-applied. The majority of the mass affluent who participate are simply not getting a huge benefit in exchange for giving up the freedom and flexibility of the money.
