The Duke Blue Devils left Littlejohn Coliseum with a 82-64 victory over the Clemson Tigers last night, and the DBR Podcast recaps the win on Episode 389. There were a couple standout performances, including Trevor Keels' 2nd half. Of course, we discuss the scary moment in the first half where Clemson's David Collins undercut Wendell Moore, Jr. on a fast break, leading to a very tense exchange between the two teams. We discuss the good and the bad from the game, particularly from Jason Evans, who was at the game and had some nice views of how the Blue Devils played. After the break, Duke travels to take on Boston College Saturday evening. Sam Klein will be in the house, and he gives a thorough breakdown of what to expect from the Eagles. Finally, there were a lot of Blue Devils that changed cities at the NBA trade deadline on Thursday. Donald talks about Marvin Bagley III heading to the Detroit Pistons, Sam gives his take on Vernon Carey, Jr. to the Washington Wizards, and there's a lot of discussion from all 3 on Seth Curry moving to the Brooklyn Nets along with Rodney Hood and Semi Ojeleye going to the Los Angeles Clippers. We'll be back later this weekend to recap the Boston College game, but until then, continue to send your wonderful thoughts to the team at DBR Podcast at Gmail dot com! The Bucks made a bigger splash than anticipated before the NBA trade deadline Thursday, landing big man Serge Ibaka in a four-way trade that sent Donte DiVincenzo, Semi Ojeleye and Rodney Hood elsewhere. Jim Owczarski and JR Radcliffe discuss the deal, what it signifies about the long-term health of Brook Lopez, what specifically Ibaka provides the Bucks in a playoff situation and what comes next with a couple open roster spots. The Milwaukee Bucks have had a wild week, so Gyro Step hosts Rohan Katti and Ti Windisch sat down to make sense of all that's happened. They start off by looking through Milwaukee's lengthy injury report, which now includes Giannis Antetokounmpo, Grayson Allen, and George Hill as well as Brook Lopez, Donte DiVincenzo, and Semi Ojeleye. Later, Rohan and Ti break down the newly signed Bucks players: Wes Matthews, DeMarcus Cousins (aka Boogie!), and Javonte Smart, who all played in Milwaukee's blowout win against the Miami Heat. Finally, both hosts shared what they expected Milwaukee's playoff rotation to look like if the team can actually be healthy by then. Don't count Giannis Antetokounmpo out of the MVP case just yet, as he re-stated his best in the world case by putting up 47 points on Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers in a needed home win for the Milwaukee Bucks. Ti Windisch and Rohan Katti of the Gyro Step podcast broke down several takeaways from the action, including how nice it was to have playmaking Khris Middleton back in the lineup, the struggles of Jrue Holiday and Semi Ojeleye, and other notes on the Bucks (plus some shots at the Lakers). They also loudly yelled about crunchy peanut butter's superiority. The Celtics were without Semi Ojeleye, Jabari Bird, Kadeem Allen, and once again Robert Williams, as they had to lean on even younger and more inexperienced players for what turned out to be their final game in the 2018 Las Vegas Summer League. The injury bug hit the team hard following a short stretch of consecutive games early in July. The 95-80 win gives the Portland Trail Blazers a spot in the semifinals Monday night.
Second year forward Semi Ojeleye had 21 points to help pace the Celtics as they advanced past Kevin Knox and the Knicks in the first round of the Las Vegas NBA Summer League Playoff Tournament. Jabari Bird added a double-double, and Boston moves on to play the Miami Heat on Saturday in Round 2.

The Garden Report | Boston Celtics Post Game Show from TD Garden
On host Bobby Manning's 20th birthday, it's hard to believe 2008 is ten years in the rearview, and even harder to imagine where the team stands. It's become Ray Allen vs. the rest of the 08 champs, entrenched in their positions in a feud that seems far from over. Before we hit on that, Brian Robb dug into a wildly intriguing Celtics team that seems to bounce back harder with every body that goes down. He breaks down Jaylen Brown's game-winner, rates Brad Steven's coach of the year candidacy (he should win) and explains what makes his matchup-oriented approach so effective. We also talk Terry Rozier, injury updates and lineups. Then Nick Gelso drops some knowledge from Ray Allen's interview in Boston at the Wilbur Theater, which was half empty. Allen took to First Take and said Heat-Celts wasn't a rivalry, he never called his teammates before leaving and Rajon Rondo and him still don't talk. When will this madness end?
