This is the second part of the interview with Soheil Katal, the CIO for LAUSD. In Episode 108 Interview Part One, we set the stage and talk through the first few days of the cyber incident that took place in September 2022. Go back and listen to Part One if you have not already. In this episode Soheil talks about bringing in the FBI and how their goal was not necessarily the same goal that Soheil and his team had. We also crack a few jokes about the news stories that said LAUSD "picked up the phone and called the Whitehouse" asking for more assistance from the Federal Government, and yes, it pretty much happened that way. We would like to thank Soheil for taking the time out of his schedule to grant us this interview. Like we said before, we are pretty certain this is the first and only one on one interview that Soheil has granted since the event took place, and we are VERY grateful that he was willing to talk to us. In this podcast, we sat down with Soheil, who just signed a professional contract with a club in Dubai.
How crazy does it sound that I took a one way ticket to Dubai because some guy I kind of knew on the internet told me he had a "crazy vision" and wanted me involved. No connections, no plan for football - no plan in general - just the desire and the means to make it all work... And it somehow did? Almost. Here's what ACTUALLY happened leading up to, during and after my time playing in the 3rd division of the UAE. Thank you to Soheil for helping make this past year - and all the experiences within it - a reality for me. Life works in mysterious ways and if you were to have told me even 2 years ago I would be in Dubai because of him I would have called you crazy. Jeff Knows Inc Podcast with Host Jeff Lopes Season 11 Episode 203 - Soheil Var. This has to be one of the most inspiring stories we have ever had on the show. Soheil growing up played House League Soccer / Football in Ottawa Canada until 16 where he finally started playing a low lever of Rep Soccer / Football. Most at that age think it would be impossible to ever become a pro with such a late start. The journey that gets them to uncharted parts of space, where there's no more space, a sort of finality to the space, let's call it "Final Space". But what makes "Final Space" the show it is? In the world filled with comedy sci-fi animated shows, why would a show like "Final Space" get made and get any attention? And what happened to make that exciting show into a mercy-killing by the network? Join us and our returning guest, Soheil (from "S02E09 - Grand Theft Auto, Part 2"), as we comb through the tale of Gary Goodspeed and try to see what is behind his creation and his obsession with round sweet pastry, also known as cookies.

When you take humanity out of any equation, you most probably end up with many unintended consequences — yes, for us as individuals, communities, society, and as Earthlings. It doesn't take much more than reading the news to see what happens when we make unsustainable decisions and when we fail to take the future of our species, other species, and the whole planet into consideration. This is also true for fields such as computing, privacy, data management, software development, and all the digital realm that has become part of our everyday life.To understand the problems and explore some of the solutions, we need an interdisciplinary approach. We talk about all these topics and more in this episode of Redefining Society.______________________________GuestSoheil HumanOn Linkedin
The trek through the vast and the open world of "Grand Theft Auto" continue. The franchise that had revolutionized the world through its pioneering of 3D graphics and open world mechanics, now has to journey on to do greater things and maybe some missteps along the way, whether they were the results of a risk worth taking, or a file forgotten to be deleted. But how did the journey continue? How did the Grand Theft Auto franchise go along creating games? What was the mistakes and what was the risks? What new things they added? And what other games they inspired? Join us, and our guest for part two Soheil (from "S0208 - South Park") as we get to the peaks and valleys of the franchise that shaped what many people consider to be their entryway into gaming. Each of us have that show that we look back to as that one defining moment where our lives changed forever. Maybe it was the show that touched you emotionally into feeling something new, maybe it was the show that let you explore some of your deepest dreams and desires, or maybe it was the show that featured a singing piece of poop that represented Christmas! Maybe it was "South Park". But a show with such a long history, with a feature length Oscar nominated movie and two very interesting RPG video games under its belt; can it really bring to its fans and viewers what is needed to make it be that one defining show? What effects did it have on its audience? Well, join us and our guests, Soheil (from "S02E04 - The Mandalorian") and Babak (from "S02E01 - The Console Wars") as we embark on our longest journey so far to discuss this show in length, in very big and uncut length. Are you having an ordinary day? Join the conversation with Ali Soheil, who refers to himself as “just an average ordinary person” who, I think is inspiring action, within his team, his community, his volunteer work and is raising tens of thousands of dollars for a great cause, Youth Mental Health. This winter, through severe winter conditions, he rode his bike everyday through snow, sleet, traffic, -20 °C (-4 °F) freezing, dangerous weather conditions without fail, simply to inspire awareness and action. What are we doing to build our youth for their future? He says he simply could not stand on the sidelines and do nothing, “It was my way of honoring the resilience of our youth.” At tough, challenging times, he wonders what small thing can each of us do in our own brilliant way? Ali’s life lessons will inspire courage and resilience: Take risks.Push the boundaries (of yourself!) Take baby steps and appreciate the progress (see note about things “going your way!”)Note: when the situation does not “go your way” be sure to appreciate that experience. Every situation that does not go your way offers more learning. Consider the obstacles and failures that offer lessons learned and a refection of a life well lived (… much more than the situation going so well, so positively… please refer back to Life Lesson #1.) One person, one bike ride, genuinely wanting to help and problem solve, is fueling others to connect with our community and the greater good. …moreover, truly connect to our authentic self to make our own impact on the world. "I am not perfect," Ali will declare, and today’s conversation will remind you to be the best version of yourself! How can one revive a franchise that is both empty in its creative endeavors and yet so far ahead in its own meta-universe that salvation seems impossible? One way seems to be going to the root and changing it from there, and that is the exact route Disney and creator Jon Favrou took in order to make their latest buzzworthy entry into the world of "Star Wars": "The Mandalorian". So how does this show differ from others like it? And what does it do to the foundation of the universe of "Star Wars", with its setting, characters, and storytelling? These questions drove us into devoting a whole episode to this mad show, and bringing along Soheil (from "S02E01 - The Console Wars") to discuss all of these and more within our little show.

The world of gaming goes through a bit of skirmish every few years, that is usually caused by going from one generation of gaming to another. What constitutes a new generation? Usually an advancement in graphical capabilities, power of processors and generally a new console. These gaming consoles, each with their highs and lows, gather an audience of loyal supporters and gamers who would start the aforementioned skirmish to determine a few outcomes: Which console is the superior one? Which console will sell more? And which console will likely dictate the next few years in the world of gaming? With so much battle and so many different aspects to consider, it was inevitable that we were also going to join the discussion. So join us as we discuss the Console Wars of 2020 to look at who was participating, and who brought what artillery to the infamous war. With us on this episode, is also Soheil (from "S01E05 - On the Subject of Fandom") and Babak (from "S01E04 - Archer & Batman Arkham").

This week we will be discussing how to navigate the dating scene, and indulge in the solo life as a party of one during a pandemic that doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon. Most of us want to love and to be able to enjoy our sex lives, but it's difficult when there is still so much uncertainty. Even though restaurants and bars are opening back up and people are out at the beach, the pandemic is still here to stay which proves to be a barrier for singles looking for a good time face to face. We are joined by the amazing Soheil Pedram. Soheil identifies as non-binary, and is a journalist who currently writes for the Associated Press Paris. After living in New York City for some time, Soheil is back in their home city of Paris, where they have been living during the quarantine. As a serial dater, they have a lot to say when it comes to navigating the dating scene, and despite all that is going on, they are not allowing a pandemic to keep them from dating. For all of my singles out there struggling to find the one amongst all of the chaos, we got you. Follow Soheil on Twitter @arnopedram and IG @lamda.velorum. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/saucy-but-sweet-with-ali/support
In this episode of YASP! we are joined again by Soheil to talk about the works of Seth MacFarlane, most famously known for his TV show, "Family Guy". We start by giving a brief history of the guy himself and then go on to talk about his cartoon TV shows, musical creations, voice acting and finally, his live action repertoire.
Text of the letter https://libcom.org/library/anarchist-prisoner-soheil-arabi-anarchism-means-flying-forever A short letter written by Anarchist prisoner Soheil Arabi. Currently Soheil Arabi remains in prison and has undergone several hunger strikes.
This episode, since it was the fifth one, we decided to make it a special one and talk about a rather more broad subject: Fandom We -along with our guest Soheil, ended up mostly talking about iOS vs Android, Star Wars vs Star Trek and Xbox vs PlayStation fandoms, but we did also throw a few other names in there and also -more importantly- tried to get behind the reason we join Fandoms and become radicalized towards certain products and things.
In Folge zehn liest Schauspieler Soheil Boroumand von Abschieden und berichtet von Projekten des Home Office.
In the second episode of our podcast we talk about the TV show "F is for Family" created by the famous stand up comedian "Bill Burr" and also the run and gun video game "Cuphead" along with our guest Soheil. We try to cover the different aspects of the two subjects visually, thematically, historically and of course, through a consumer lens.
This is a very special episode as I have my first remote guest in LIVELIFECOMPLEX history, Soheil Var (who is playing football in Austria) to come on and talk about how he has been getting creative when it comes to keeping fit in quarantine. We also touch on areas of the game outside of just training in Quarantine such as our favourite drills to do for ball mastery, what we need to work on overall as a footballer, what it takes to get noticed by coaches and scouts etc. I hope you enjoyed this episode. DON'T LOSE SIGHT OF YOUR GOALS, it can be so easy to get complacent when we are all stuck inside...but that is what this podcast is for ;) SOHEIL'S IG: https://www.instagram.com/soheil.var/ --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/diegotgl/message

Iranian blogger and professional photographer, Soheil Arabi, has been repeatedly prosecuted by authorities in Iran for his writing and online activism. In 2014 he was sentenced to death for supposedly "insulting the Prophet" in Facebook posts. The death sentence was commuted in 2015, but he has since been jailed again. He has been repeatedly beaten while in prison, and members of his family have been threatened or harassed. Atheist Republic members have a plan to highlight this case. Our friends at Humanist International have provided us with a briefing confirming this information. Link to event: https://www.facebook.com/events/371969536765198/ Please join the and Atheist Republic Consulate near you and ask the admins of the group to start an event in the group similar to the one above to help us bring more attention to Soheil: http://www.atheistrepublic.com/consulates Also, if you can, help them with managing these events. The key things for each event page are to make sure all the details and dates on the event page for each city is ready before the admins invite all the members. The description, title, video cover, date (August 17th, 2019) needs to be added before anyone is invited. Ask the admins to watch this video for more information.

The Ashes! *** Du behöver inte må dåligt!
