Patch 10.0.7 ist seit einer Woche auf den Live-Servern und hätte im Nachhinein wohl noch die eine oder andere Woche auf dem Test-Server benötigt. Denn nicht alles lief so rund wie erhofft. Die Urzeitlichen Steine brauchten gleich mehrere Buffs und der Vergelter-Paladin musste im PvP mit Notfall-Hotfixes eingebremst werden, obwohl die Überarbeitung im PvE eher für glückliche Spieler sorgte. Aber natürlich sprechen Seb und Phil auch über den kommenden Patch 10.1, der nicht nur neue Phiolen-Kessel mitbringt, sondern auch WeakAuren ordentlich einbremsen könnte. Im Anschluss erzählt Seb dann ausführlich aus der Beta von Diablo 4. Zwei Wochenenden lang hat er sich mit den Klassen, Dungeons, der Itemisierung und allem anderen beschäftigt, was das Hack'n'Slay zu bieten hat. Allerdings will sich der Hype nicht so richtig einstellen, denn es gibt einen ganzen Haufen an offenen Fragen oder kleinen Punkten, denen sich die Entwickler noch widmen sollten. Es ist zudem beunruhigend, dass viele Aspekte des Endgame noch gar nicht getestet wurden und nach aktuellen Stand wohl auch nicht werden. Wir sprechen darüber, wo die Entwickler unbedingt noch Hand anlegen müssen, um Diablo 4 zu einem runden Spielerlebnis zu machen. Das Warten hat bald ein Ende. Mit Wrath of the Lich King Classic ist die Retro-Version von WoW nun bei der erfolgreichsten Erweiterung der Geschichte angekommen. Im buffedCast 603 sprechen Karsten und Phil darüber, dass WotLK aber trotzdem kein Selbstläufer für Blizzard wird. Denn nach wie vor gibt es einige Stolpersteine, die aus dem Weg geräumt werden müssen. Das Gleiche gilt auch für die Beta von WoW: Dragonflight. Die Entwickler legen weiterhin ein hohes Tempo an den Tag und die ersten Test-Server fürs Endgame sind bereits online. Dennoch gibt es einige Kritikpunkte, die besprochen werden wollen. Darunter Anpassungen an der Kampagne und die Art und Weise, wie Blizzard seine Beta-Keys unters Volk bringt. Am Ende sprechen die zwei noch über Overwatch 2. Denn dort wurde mittlerweile das Monetarisierungsmodell des Free2Play-Shooters vorgestellt. Das ist zwar weit vom Pay2Win eines Diablo Immortals entfernt, wirklich toll finden es aber beide nicht. Größter Kritikpunkt: In einem Helden-Shooter sollten allen Spielern stets alle Helden zur Verfügung stehen. Das tun sie in Overwatch 2 aber nicht.
