In this episode of After Hours, the crew sits down with Nick Merrone, owner of 797 Performance out of Philadelphia, PA — a shop specializing in modern Mopar performance, with a side of Mustang work. What starts as a chat about Dodges, Chargers, Challengers, and Hellcats quickly spirals into a hilarious deep dive on truck quirks, takeover culture rumors, angle kits, and even obscure Australian engines. From Nick's early days wrenching in a storage unit to building a thriving performance parts business, the conversation blends car culture history, insider shop talk, and plenty of off-the-rails tangents. Whether it's debating the looks of the newest Charger, breaking down “striker” swaps, or reminiscing about old-school 240SX builds, this episode is equal parts automotive insight and chaotic fun.@nickmerronesucks@797_performanceBe sure to leave us a review if you are enjoying this podcast! In this unfiltered episode, Shipwreck lets loose on everything from the Epstein files debacle to the explosion of EBT “haul” videos flaunting taxpayer-funded shopping sprees. She opens with raw frustration over Trump's dismissive response to Epstein questions and Pam Bondi's contradictory statements about evidence and sealed records, challenging listeners to stop gaslighting themselves about obvious corruption. Shifting gears, Shipwreck launches a blistering takedown of social media influencers proudly showing off carts loaded with junk food, luxury groceries, and birthday cakes bought with benefits while claiming to be struggling. She calls out the entitlement culture that normalizes dependence as virtue and proposes a “peer review board” where applicants would justify their aid to taxpayers directly. Ranting against corporate profiteering, like Amazon and Costco raking in billions from EBT purchases, she underscores how the middle class is quietly funding a system that incentivizes generational welfare. With humor, expletives, and a dose of Midwestern tough love, she insists it's possible to support safety nets without enabling abuse. This fiery episode is part catharsis, part call to accountability, and an unapologetic defense of common sense.

Neither would be successful without the other! They go into business - to electrify Dodge muscle cars - that provide the sounds to fool the customer into thinking they're listening to a V8 while they're just hearing an electric motor spin. Did we mention this movie came out in 2011? In between the car drama, Kevin James wife is cheating on him (and he's doing a few shameful things too). Vince Vaughn is stuck in the dilemma of trying to protect his best friend while dealing with the doubt of others from his past as a gambling addict. The end result is that we get an entirely movie of hilarity and HEMI powered classic Dodges - just for fun! This movie has "real" other actors too! Winona Rider, Jennifer Connately, Channing Tatum, and Queen Latifah round out the ensemble. Even more impressive, the director was a big name too; Ron Howard! I'm telling you, in 2011 someone at Dodge saw this movie and just copied the whole thing. 14 years later, it's a realty. The new 2025 Charger is electric and has a speaker system of V8 sounds. Even better, we get a bro movie between Vince Vaughn and Kevin James. The only thing that would make it better is if it were Paul Blart Mall Cop 3! SZA hilariouslly dodges Drake and Kendrick question
What's up Bros? The SoHo reunion was solid although not a lot of questions were answered on the Will and Emmy front. The bombshell that was teased in the finale is dropped, and it turns out that Trevor never cheated on Maddi the second time. Apparently some of the others in the group knew during last season but werent sure how to broach the topic. Brad takes accountability and it seems like Maddi is cool with everyone but just upset that she was made to look and feel crazy. Joe and Maddi are still on the right track, but Joe clearly would prefer if things were sped up a little bit. Michols shares that his mom has still not reached out positively, but has found a lot of support in other family members which is incredible. TJ and Joe are back on the outs after Joe watched the season and saw some of the things TJ was saying about him behind his back. G Lily and Maddi hash things out but seemingly are still ok. Will obviously doesn't show up to the reunion for his 'mental health' and no regard for Emmy's mental health either. Emmy places blame on the entire group without acknowledging her and Will's part. The only time she takes acocuntability for Will is in regards to him talking smack around town. Hopefully next season they get upgraded to a real reunion but the cast is doing well and we are excited for next season! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

California Gov. Gavin Newsom was confronted by a mother in Los Angeles County who said her daughter's school burned down as several fires have devastated the region this week. In a video aired by SkyNews, the woman approached Gov. Newsom in the middle of a street surrounded by burned-down buildings. "I live here, governor. That was my daughter's school. Governor, please tell me what you're going to do," she pleaded with Newsom. The governor responded, "I'm literally talking to the president right now to specifically answer the question of what we can do for you and your daughter." The woman then asked if she could hear the call with the president "because I don't believe it." Newsom then showed her his phone screen and said he couldn't get through to the president.
