In this thought-provoking episode, I'm joined by Paul Blanchard, founder of Whole Body Mindset. Paul shares his unique perspectives on healing, mindset, and the importance of genuine human connection in our fast-paced world.Paul emphasizes that healing is an autonomic process and that our bodies innately know how to heal when given the right support. He introduces the concept of the "Whole Body Mindset," which involves three interconnected aspects: the thinker mind, the heart mind, and the gut mind, and explains how trauma, shame, and unhealthy attachments can hinder personal growth and healing.Towards the end of the episode, Paul vulnerably shares his own experience with a severe autoimmune-like thyroid condition and how making difficult decisions to realign his life, along with an ancient Ayurvedic soup recipe, led to a remarkable recovery.Throughout the conversation, Paul challenges listeners to consider alternative perspectives and approach healing and personal growth with curiosity and non-judgment, offering a holistic approach to understanding the interconnectedness of our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.Paul's free Assessment for Thinker Mind Patterns can be found here: https://www.wholebodymindset.com/habitfinderWebsite: www.kellybhaney.comEmail: info@kellybhaney.comInstagram: @kellybhaneyFacebook: Kelly B Haney, Certified Nutrition Coach

About Paul Blanchard: He is the president of Habit Finder and he has been a network marketing coach for a few years now, helping networking marketers and direct-sales professionals learn their habits of thinking so that they can make changes where necessary and keep the good habits of thinking so that they continue to build and grow their business. In this episode, Jennie and Paul discuss:Unlearning to earn The driver and the vehicleStopping intentionally Your brain's tendency to focus on specificsKey Takeaways:The more you unlearn, the more you earn. We pour an overflowing bucket of concepts into a little beaker of willpower and integration and that's why it doesn't often work and we end up jumping from system to system, and concept to concept. You are not your thoughts. You're in the driver seat, but you have little to no control over your neurological patterns and how you think - which in this case, would be the vehicle. People who don't know how to stop intentionally would have a harder time trying to fight their procrastination. If you honor your word in your agreement with your body as to what you'll do, in what time, and how long your brain wouldn't have a problem with that. When asked what we want, we often answer in general ideas but when asked what we don't want, we often get more specific. This is harmful especially since the brain focuses more on specifics than general ideas. "Personal development is not a philosophical game… [it] is a biological game. If you don't know the rules of your neurological biology, then you're gonna frustrate the process because we're naturally impatient and the brain is not - it loves to count on the same thing over and over again." — Paul Blanchard Take Habit Finder's Un-personality Assessment for FREE by clicking on this link: http://habitfinder.com/bdsm Connect with Paul Blanchard:Twitter: https://twitter.com/habit_finderFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/habitfinderInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/habitfinderWebsite: www.habitfinder.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOguxyKl1jdar64xfZXe5KwLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/paulblanchard2 CONNECT WITH JENNIE:Twitter: https://twitter.com/jenniebplFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/badassdirectsalesmastery/app/307339332686535/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/badassdirectsalesmastery/Website: https://badassdirectsalesmastery.com/Show: https://badassdirectsalesmastery.com/blog/Email: jennie@badassdirectsalesmastery.com Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine TallaAudio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. Christian Broughton is Editor of The Independent. After spending much of his career at the ‘Indy’ and the i newspaper, he became Digital Editor in 2012, and launched the award-winning indy100 website. In 2016, when Evgeny Lebedev famously closed the print edition, he took over as Editor, taking their reach to a peak of 120 million, and 6 million daily readers. In this in-depth interview, he discusses his efforts to take full advantage of the opportunities digital presents, while maintaining their long-held values and brand strength; shares details of his commitment to more foreign bureaux and specialist reporters, and their ‘InFact’ unit tackling fake news; talks through the challenges of expanding the business in a commercially sustainable way, their relationship with twitter, facebook and google; and tackles critics who accuse the site of chasing clicks at any cost.
Lorraine Candy is Luxury Content Director of The Sunday Times, and Editor-in-Chief of the paper’s Style magazine. A former Editor of Cosmopolitan and ELLE UK, she was twice-named Editor of the Year. In this in-depth interview, she describes her start in journalism as a teenager at the Cornish Times, and questions whether the same opportunities are available today; goes behind the scenes of her biggest news stories; details how her job has to combine traditional editorial with digital insight to reach new audiences; and explains how Style has a stronger impact - and better reader engagement - than other ‘glossy’ magazines.
Adam Boulton is Editor-at-Large at Sky News. He was instrumental in establishing Sky’s politics team in 1989, and over the next three decades went on to cover seven general elections. In this in-depth interview, he describes the thrill of assembling a story live on air; explores the tension between politicians and journalists; and reminisces that, uniquely, he is the only journalist to have ever ‘doorstepped’ the Queen.
Mark Frankel is Social Media Editor at BBC News. In this in-depth interview, he discusses how for millions of people the news is now increasingly broken (and made) on Twitter; the importance the BBC places on accuracy over speed, and the editorial challenges created by each of the various social platforms; how the breaking news alerts are managed technically; how their use of live streaming allows them to engage with audiences in new ways; dealing with trolls, abuse, and the politics of fake news; and gives his thoughts on what’s next for BBC News - arguing social media will ultimately overtake not only broadcast, but the other online platforms too.
Paul Blanchard - is a global PR consigliere whose firm expertly handles crisis management for top-shelf clients. Blanchard knows crisis inside and out: he was in UK government before shifting to high-level consulting, and has felt that crisis-driven cold sweat himself. In his new book, Fast PR: Give Yourself a Media Boost, he enlisted a global team of media mavens to share their wisdom, and combined their riveting nuggets with his own time-tested tips. The result is a bible of saving face. If you want to emerge from a crisis intact, this is what you need to do and say. Why you should never say “no comment” to the media in response to a crisis. Why “keep calm and carry on” is far more than a cliché — it's a critical business tactic. How to prepare for a crisis in advance — and why you have to. Why burying bad news is a fatal mistake. He talks through his portfolio career as columnist, blogger, and business owner; says no-one should get too ‘noble’ about journalism as it’s ‘politicians people remember’; argues it’s crucial for the survival of the newspaper industry that Facebook and Google are properly classed as publishers; and maintains that Trump and Brexit have increased public recognition that good quality journalism is essential for a healthy democracy - and should be properly paid for.

Richard Watson, BBC Newsnight's specialist terrorism reporter, Vaughan Smith, co-founder of the Frontline Club, and war correspondent Michael Goldfarb join Paul Blanchard to discuss the media and war.
