The Modern Yoga Podcast is truly a gem in the world of podcasts. From the moment I started listening, I was immediately drawn in by its realness, fun nature, and refreshing honesty. Unlike other yoga podcasts that can sometimes come across as too "woooey" or filled with jargon that goes over my head, this podcast manages to strike the perfect balance between being accessible and informative. Hosted by two individuals with great chemistry, their stories and tangents add an extra layer of enjoyment to each episode. The diversity of guests also adds depth to the conversations, making me reflect on my own yoga practice and the path I am on.

One of the best aspects of The Modern Yoga Podcast is how it manages to break down complex concepts and make them relatable and understandable in today's context. It brings a fresh perspective to yoga that goes beyond just physical poses, creating a space for deeper exploration and understanding. The hosts' ability to create a welcoming atmosphere makes me feel like part of the conversation, rather than just a passive listener. Additionally, the guests they bring on are incredibly diverse, providing different insights and experiences that further enrich the episodes.

While it's hard to find any major flaws in this podcast, if there was one aspect that could be improved upon, it would be the frequency of new episodes. As someone who binged all of the available episodes quickly due to their engaging nature, I now eagerly await each new episode every week. It's a testament to how enjoyable this podcast is that I find myself craving more content from these hosts.

In conclusion, The Modern Yoga Podcast is an exceptional podcast that transcends typical yoga discussions and offers something truly special. Its realness, fun energy, and honest conversations make it a joy to listen to each week. Whether you consider yourself a "yogi" or simply enjoy practicing yoga casually like myself, this podcast has something for everyone. I highly recommend giving it a listen and getting swept away by the enlightening and entertaining discourse it offers.

Journey through Life's Seasons: From Experiences to Reflections

Have you ever caught yourself being surprised by the unexpected beauty of a destination you visited, only to find it filled with nostalgic memories and enriching experiences? That's precisely what happened when Joyce set off on a trip to Buffalo.  Anticipating the unforgettable excitement of a Dave Matthews concert, Joyce & James were entranced by the stunning landscape of Western New York.  Now, imagine surrendering control over something as personal as a tattoo design to someone else, someone like Kristen, a yogi who understands the power of the process. The result was a profound journey of self-acceptance and letting go, etched forever on her skin as a beautiful reminder of what happens when she allows those she trusts to help her.  The beauty of this experience? It's intertwined with so many other aspects of life, each contributing to its fascinating journey - from decades spent on the ice, to softball games with friends, the calming feel of getting a tattoo for the second time, to the sheer power of nature witnessed at Niagara Falls. Life, however, isn't just about the beautiful moments. It also involves navigating through the difficult ones and learning how to say goodbye. The recent loss of Joyce's uncle stirred a deep reflection on family, the cycles of life and death, and the importance of those final conversations. MB & Joyce realize how pets, through their life cycles, bring in a unique perspective on life and death. They also pondered the fragility of life and its inevitability. Through all these, we find solace in the little things – a yoga class, a book recommendation, and even the unfortunate incident of chipping a tooth. Join us as we explore and reflect on the cyclical patterns of life and how they shape us.Learn More about Modern Yoga.Like us on Facebook.Follow us on InstagramOr Twitter.

The second limb of yoga is the niyamas, which is often translated to "positive observances." The personal discipline of purity can bring up ideas of perfection, but it's really the idea of letting go of what's unnecessary, eliminating bad habits, and becoming free from material attachments.
