El presidente saliente de la Asociación Nacional de Instituciones Financieras, Anif, Mauricio Santa María, comentó a LR sus impresiones sobre los principales indicadores económicos para el país al cierre del año y los retos que vienen para 2024. También se refirió a las reformas a la salud, laboral y pensional y sus efectos. ¿Qué opinión tiene frente a las reformas que ha propuesto el Gobierno? Esas tres reformas van a afectar a todo el mundo de manera sustancial. Y, la verdad, nosotros hemos sido muy críticos de esas reformas. Nos parece que son improvisadas, que no han tenido un estudio suficiente. Sobre todo la de la salud quiere acabar completamente un sistema que tiene algunas fallas pero que ha sido muy bueno, y lo que se debería hacer sería solucionar las fallas, no acabar con un sistema que le ha dado vida al derecho a la salud.
