Tonight, on Trackside with Kevin Lee and Curt Cavin, they talk about this past weekend's IndyCar doubleheader at the Iowa Speedway with Team Penske continuing their dominance, but it wasn't “The King of Corn Country”, Josef Newgarden, however his two teammates were victorious. Scott McLaughlin won the Hy-Vee Homefront 250 Saturday night for his first career oval win, while Will Power won the Hy-Vee One Step 250 Sunday night for his first win in Iowa. They talk about how the racing was subpar, especially for the new hybrid system, and how the crowd looked along with some revisions going throughout the speedway. They even talk about the crowd for the concerts from Luke Combs, Eric Church, Kelsea Ballerini, and Post Malone. Later in the first hour of the show, Kevin talks to Curt about how he benefited from watching the race from pit exit at Iowa from the broadcast this past weekend. They also talk about the late TV channel change from the Saturday night to CNBC as the world reacted to the assassination attempt of former President, Donald Trump. To wrap up the first hour of the program, Kevin talks about some stats from the Iowa Speedway, previews the second hour of the show, including the Brickyard weekend on the return to the oval for the NASCAR Cup Series, and more racing at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. To start the second hour of the show, Kevin and Curt go through questions on Twitter, starting with how the Indy NXT Championship could play out, weather affecting the streets of Toronto, Hailie Deegan in the Indy NXT paddock, and more questions with the hybrid system. Later in the second hour program, Kevin and Curt go through more Twitter questions, and talk more about Sting Ray Robb's massive crash from Iowa and that he was cleared to return to racing this weekend at Toronto. They also provide some little silly season updates from Alexander Rossi and more. Then to wrap up another addition of the show, Kevin talks fast thoughts about Hunter McElrea making his debut this weekend in Toronto and Robert Wickens winning in the Michelin Pilot Challenge at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. Talking about my few weeks off including my trip to Canadian Tire Motorsports Park to watch the Pintys in which I got confident and actually played some original songs Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva is happening at the end of this month so I decided to give my 2 cents on a prediction, if it will be worth watching and give a little history of me watching silva growing up in UFC Falls and winter is coming so I decide to talk about some shows I am watching like Rick and Morty, Solar Opposites and the Patient Intro song Music by Coma-Media from Pixabay https://pixabay.com/music/beats-power... Phil and Josh return for E122 of the GSP to discuss first time winners in Carlos Sainz (F1), Tyler Reddick (NASCAR Cup) and Logan Sargeant (F2), amongst all the other great racing action from the previous weekend. Phil opens with a rant about league bowling before the guys get into Sainz picking up his first pole and win at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone. Other key talking points included the resurgence of Sir Lewis Hamilton, the recovery by Sergio Perez and the huge 1st lap accident that thankfully saw Zhou Guanyu escape serious injury. NASCAR Cup and XFinity ran at Road America which saw Beau Reddick's dad beat William Clyde Elliott II in a largely uneventful, processional Cup race. In the XFinity race, Ty Gibbs passed defending Cup champion Kyle Larson late but the story was Noah Gragson and his intentional hook of Sage Karam down the back straight, causing a massive pileup. Phil was not happy and expressed as such for his second rant of the show. Scott McLaughlin won his second IndyCar race at Mid-Ohio (mistakenly said 3rd on the show) in an eventful race for the Andretti Autosport teams along with other Chevy powered efforts that had mechanical problems including pole-sitter Pato O'Ward. Alex Palou continues to linger in his title defense while Will Power had an enormous recovery to finish on the podium and cut his deficit to points leader and Indy 500 winner Marcus Ericcson in the points. For the GSP Roundup, Phil goes into the SRX at Stafford and Nashville, F2/F3/W Series at Silverstone, IMSA Weathertech Sports Car Championship at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park along with Michelin Pilot Challenge, Formula E at Marrakesh, Extreme E holding a doubleheader in Sardinia, WEC at Monza and Supercars at Townsville. Phil and Josh preview the Austrian Grand Prix for Formula 1 along with Cup/XFinity at Atlanta for super speedway action while the Trucks return to race at Mid-Ohio. Josh lets us know what's going on in the world of sim racing with his Sim Segment before show close.

He's only 23-years old, but Austin Cindric is already a Daytona 500 Champion and an accomplished racecar driver. Today, he sits at the big table with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Mike Davis so the world can learn more about the young-man beyond the flashbulbs and trophies. At first glance, his life seems like an arranged marriage. The son of Tim Cindric, the president of Team Penske, driving in NASCAR"s top series in the famed Penske No. 2 car. There are some that feel Cindric had a path forged in gold before his feet. What most don't realize is that his parents didn't even want him to race a car. Most also don't realize how hard the Mooresville, N.C., driver has worked to make the most out of every opportunity he has gotten. March Miller | Race Car DriverMarc Miller began racing karts at the age of 11. He has competed successfully in kart racing, formula cars, stock cars and now sportscars, giving him a reputation of being fast and versatile in any race series. With hundreds of wins and titles in karting, Miller has competed in all the major sportscar series in North America, from Trans Am to GT3 series such as World Challenge and IMSA. His consistency was noticed by Riley Motorsports who drafted him into their squad for the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans driving the Dodge Viper GTS-R in 2015. His preparation for the most famous race in the World included driving the team's #93 Viper GTS-R at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, CA in May 2015 where he qualified second and led during the opening stint of the race. For 2016, Marc was secured as the 3rd driver for the #33 Gas Monkey Energy / Viper Exchange / Riley Motorsports team for all of the endurance events, including the Rolex 24-Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, Petit Le Mans and tentatively, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Due to the Viper team being far down on the reserve list, it had looked like Miller would not return to Le Mans in 2016, but he was picked up by WeatherTech Racing / Proton Competition to compete in the #89 WeatherTech Porsche 911 RSR to complete an All-American line-up alongside Cooper MacNeil and Leh Keen.2018 saw Miller move around all over the globe. Starting the year with a win in his first official Trans Am Series event with Stevens-Miller Racing in a Dodge Challenger at Sebring, Miller returned to Sebring to compete with newly re-organized, Gradient Racing (formerly CJ Wilson Racing) in their newly acquired Acura NSX GT3. Miller would also compete in the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen, then immediately head to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium to race with Black Swan Racing in their Porsche GT3R at the Spa 24. He would also join the squad for the Suzuka 10 Hour as well and return yet again in 2019 with Black Swan Racing team at Watkins Glen and the Michelin Encore at Sebring, where the team podiumed. The main focus of 2019 was a focused assault for the Trans Am title with Stevens-Miller Racing. Miller scored 3 poles, 4 wins and 8 podiums enroute to the TA2 title for the team and the first outright title for Dodge in the 53-year history of the series. His focus on data acquisition, engineering, car development and ingenuity was rewarded with the inaugural SUNOCO MARKE DONOHUE TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE AWARD to compliment his Trans am title at the yea- end awards gala. Miller also competed alongside his long-time teammate, Till Bechtolsheimer, in the SRO Blancpain America GT Series (now GT World Challenge America) in the Gradient Racing Acura NSX GT3 EVO, scoring 3 podiums and a win (Mosport Park) on their way to 4th in the championship. Highlights of Miller's career include driving on world-renowned racetracks like Le Mans, Circuit of the Americas, and Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. In addition to competing professionally, Miller works as a professional driving coach with drivers across the state of Michigan, midwest and the entire United States & Canada. When he is not at race events, at a speaking engagement, teaching seminars or helping to train drivers throughout the country, Miller enjoys spending time with his family including his better half, Tabitha and her daughter, Vera, and his two sons, Evan & Seth. Marc makes a point to have an active lifestyle in West Michigan biking, kayaking, hiking and boating or working on vintage motorcycles.Listen as Joseph and Marc speak about Racing To Success!

The weekend started with Elliott Sadler winning the NASCAR XFINITY Series race holding off a hard charging Denny Hamlin. Sadler nearly coughed it up in the closing stages but was able to win his 12th career event. Then came Sunday's Chevrolet Silverado 250 at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park which ended in controversy as John Hunter Nemechek and Cole Custer has a memorable finish that resulted in significant amount of contact and drag racing to the start-finish line. We will give our opinion on the finish and if NASCAR should have penalized either driver or both drivers for their actions. That finish led to throwback weekend at Darlington Raceway and while the race was slow going it certainly had some entertaining features. Kevin Harvick dominated but a few bad pit stops cost him track position and cost him the victory. Martin Truex Jr was able to capitalize and win his 5th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory and his 2nd of the 2016 season. Also, Tony Stewart made headlines, dumping Brian Scott under green flag conditions. We talk about the 2016 Bojangles Southern 500. Plus we talk about Ryan Newman and Kyle Larson's penalty following the Southern 500 and how it will effect Newman and Larson going forward. Were the penalities too harsh? Should RCR appeal? Has NASCAR been consistant all season long with penalities? And we'll take your phone calls at 917-889-8280!
