The very special guest on this episode of The Mile High Podcast is Eddie Weller, a DC from the St. Louis, Missouri, area. His practice is known as “Getting Weller”!   He's been serving the Chiropractic profession both internally by training students and doctors alike and by serving over 10,000 people in a little over two decades. He has always sought to add hope to those who feel as if they have tried everything.The truth is, the body doesn't need any assistance. It just needs to have nothing compromising its functioning. He heard that from a Chiropractor when he was 19 years old.   He had suffered from IBS and struggled terribly in school. After having his spine analyzed and adjusted, proper nerve system function transformed his life both physically and psychologically. This was the catalyst to his “why.”   Dr. Eddie says, “Over the past 20+ years, I have seen miracle after miracle. Life as we know it emanates through your nerve system. If something where to compromise your nerve system, in time, your body (or mind) grows into a health condition. In turn, when your nerve system is restored to proper function, your body then has the opportunity to do all that it can to thrive.”   He's the author of three books, It Just Makes Sense,  The Infrared Thermography Textbook, and Dr. Bones. What do belly shirts, knee high socks, high-stakes March Madness picks, and a near-death DUI crash have in common? One man: Danny P. On this week's episode we have a very special guest, Danny P, who is a long time listener and even longer time good friend of all four members of Trudge Report. Corey and Dan got sober together in the same halfway house almost 10 years ago and the rest of us became friends with Dan over the years. He comes to us from just outside of the Ohio State University campus. We delineate some of our history with him and the timeline of the friendships. There is no shortage of funny stories between Corey and Dan in their early days of sobriety and maybe even if you picture for all those who will watch this episode on YouTube or Facebook. Dr. Jane is one of those. As a mountain biker and skier, Dr. Jane first got into chiropractic to address her persistent hip and back pain. As her body began to heal from the physical injuries she began to notice that other health issues dissipated as well. She no longer suffered from chronic respiratory issues that had plagued her for her entire life. Once she understood the science and philosophy of chiropractic care, it became the obvious choice for her life's work. She returned to school, 11 years after obtaining her undergraduate degree in Art, to get her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She graduated from Life University in Atlanta. While learning traditional chiropractic techniques in school, she gravitated toward Upper Cervical Chiropractic. Dr. Jane is among an elite group of fewer than 100 chiropractors in the world who holds this distinction of the highest level of training and specialization in Upper Cervical Chiropractic. She was the valedictorian of her graduating class. When she's not in the office and doesn't have her head in a research journal, she loves playing outside on her mountain bike, skis, or on her own two feet with her husband, Wes.
