The very special guest on this episode of The Mile High Podcast is Dr. Marc Surprenant. Dr. Marc was born and raised in Iowa. He received his bachelors from the University of Iowa and completed his doctorate at Palmer College in Davenport, IA in 1999. When Dr. Marc was 21 years old, he was on 4 different medications for asthma, allergies, headaches and stomach ulcers. He was referred to a chiropractor. The doctor told him that his body was designed to heal itself, and something within his body was blocking that healing. As Dr. Marc started getting adjusted, he was able to get rid of the symptoms and the drugs, and more importantly, he got to the root of the problem. He has been able to maintain that healthy place for the last 27 years without having to go back to a medical doctor for those problems! He has received advanced training in spinal correction, toxicity, exercise and nutrition from some of the largest health clinics in the world. He has access to the latest scientifically based research and protocols in health and healing today and is one of only a few hundred doctors certified in the five essentials of health. Dr. Marc is traveling monthly to teach and learn new techniques and methods to be able to serve the community better. He says, “I'd be willing to go anywhere to promote chiropractic.” How willing are you to do that? Because he is very focused on education, he holds monthly workshops in his office on fitness, nutrition, detoxification, and other health-related topics. He teaches Winning My Race programs to churches (providing on-site weekly chiropractic care to Elevation Church) and has worked with many local businesses to help them decrease sick time and injuries. Marc also has hosted a radio show for the past 22 years and has worked with local schools to help keep their athletes in top shape. He was also part of the Max Living group that took care of the teams from the United States at the 2012 Olympics. For the last 18 years, he has also started coaching other chiropractors and now speaks across the country to chiropractors and students.

James has made it his mission to elevate and expand chiropractic through media, marketing, and storytelling. That encounter sparked a passion that would drive him to conduct over 1,300 interviews, create two chiropractic documentaries, and schedule over 11,000 new patients through spinal screenings. As the founder of the Chiro Hustle Podcast and Blue Rhino AI, James is a trailblazer in chiropractic marketing and media. The very special guest on this episode of The Mile High Podcast is Eddie Weller, a DC from the St. Louis, Missouri, area. His practice is known as “Getting Weller”! He's been serving the Chiropractic profession both internally by training students and doctors alike and by serving over 10,000 people in a little over two decades. He has always sought to add hope to those who feel as if they have tried everything. The truth is, the body doesn't need any assistance. It just needs to have nothing compromising its functioning. He heard that from a Chiropractor when he was 19 years old. He had suffered from IBS and struggled terribly in school. After having his spine analyzed and adjusted, proper nerve system function transformed his life both physically and psychologically. This was the catalyst to his “why.” Dr. Eddie says, “Over the past 20+ years, I have seen miracle after miracle. Life as we know it emanates through your nerve system. If something where to compromise your nerve system, in time, your body (or mind) grows into a health condition. In turn, when your nerve system is restored to proper function, your body then has the opportunity to do all that it can to thrive.” He's the author of three books, It Just Makes Sense, The Infrared Thermography Textbook, and Dr. Bones. His fourth book is coming out soon. Dr. Eddie has been a speaker and presenter at Mile High Weekends in the past and is a frequent guest on this Podcast, diving deep into clinical excellence, the journey toward chiropractic, and how you can make such an impact by focusing on the philosophy and science, and art of chiropractic. He recently launched The Chiro Legacy Club, to help you create a legacy and his 100 Certification on Thermography. To say that Eddy is busy making a difference is an understatement. On this podcast, you'll hear about: The importance of using objective data and instrumentation to assess patient progress It Just Makes Sense about Infrared Thermography Focusing on your core competency Standing out by delivering exceptional chiropractic care And MUCH more! Robert Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr. was just confirmed by the Senate today as the new Secretary of Health and Human Services for the United States. I am overwhelmed with how big a deal this is for the health of America. Chronic disease has been an epidemic in this country. The vaccine industry is not held accountable for any kind of damage due to vaccines. The recommended vaccines for children has grown through the years from three vaccines to seventy-two, including the Covid-19 vaccine that was not properly tested and which has caused tremendous harm to many people. All of this is extremely alarming. It may not directly be a chiropractic issue and yet it is certainly a part of the overall challenge with non-holistic health care in America. The hold that Big Pharma has had on our country is tragic. In addition, the quality of food in the U.S. has degenerated over the years into almost wholly unhealthy levels. RFK Jr. has long been a critic of vaccines and a supporter of holistic health. He advocates for making the country healthy again through good food, exercise, and healthy nerve and immune systems. If Kennedy can do 25%, maybe even 10%, of what he has said he wants to do, it would be the biggest advance for healthcare in the United States of America since I've been alive. To celebrate his appointment, as a gift, you can receive full access to his presentation at Mile High in 2023. It is an honor that he was willing to take time during his presidential run to speak to a tremendous group of chiropractors in the Mile High state. He loves principled chiropractic, and has supported it. I'm in full support of him in this position, and I hope you are, too. The battle for him to get this position was a long and difficult one, and it's likely that the battle has only just begun. Doing what he wants to do in this new position isn't going to be an easy position. I'm grateful that he's fighting this fight. Let's celebrate. These are things that we've wanted our whole lifetimes! 2025 is kicking off. You have dreams, goals, and visions for the help and care you're going to provide, the number of people you're going to see and the revenue you're going to generate. After 26 years in practice, Richelle and I have learned a thing or two. During the last 60 days of 2024, Network Wellness Center increased visits by 100 per week, and 2024 revenue was up $100,000 from the year before. Those results are not some magic trick. It's not just scripts and procedures, though those are vital. Clinical excellence is at the center of the care our practice members receive, and there's more than that. We could only have those results with an incredibly great support team who were totally on board with the practice's goals and objectives. Results in your practice are due to the support team you have around you and their mindsets. If you don't have a team, you're only going to grow to a certain point, and you'll be doing it all yourself, and you probably won't see the level of success you really desire. You need to bring the right people into your vision! As an extra-special gift to you, you can now have access, absolutely FREE to the 2025 Inner Circle Kickoff Webinar. It's live video class available to you in this podcast. You'll discover three steps you can take this year to hone in your values, your mission, and your collaboration with your team. Enjoy it here on the Mile High podcast, and when you watch it, implement it during the month of January. When you implement this, you will have more people in more tables more often in 2025 give them a massive health and wellness benefit, and increase your revenues as a result! There's one more step you can take after you watch the webinar. You can join the LWP Inner Circle and totally cement in everything you learned on this podcast and much more! This presentation is just the tip of the iceberg of the content that's available for you in your own app, so you can up-level this year. A number of doctors in The Inner Circle have actually tripled their practices just using Inner Circle content. Check it out and join today at LwpInnerCircle.com! Mile High Hometown Unsung Hero, Dr. Simon Dove, the Man Behind the Mile High Shirt and whiskey, is the very special guest on this episode of The Mile High Podcast. Simon attended the very first Mile High Weekend and every Mile High since. He's also the President of the Mile High Foundation. At age 24, Dr. Simon Dove never thought his life's direction would take such a drastic turn. An aspiring artist, he traveled to Padova, Italy to sell his art and live with his uncle, a chiropractor practicing Network Spinal Analysis. It was in Italy that Simon received his first training and was turned around professionally, emotionally, and spiritually. Soon after returning from Italy, Dr. Dove entered Atlanta's Life Chiropractic College (now Life University) in 1992. He began training at a basic-level intensive seminar with Dr. Donald Epstein, founder of NSA. Upon graduation from Life in 1997, Dr. Dove had completed both Intermediate and Advanced Intensive Seminars, as well as four Trans-formational Gates. Yoga became an important role in Dr. Dove's life, both inside and outside of NSA, and he developed a strong personal practice. From August 2003 to November 2004, Dr. Dove worked internationally within several yoga teaching workshops, where he wove his experiences of spinal health into the yogic disciplines. His objective was to develop a more in-depth connection between the healing modalities. His approach to yoga today reflects this fusion. Soon after leaving New York, Simon ran two wellness centers on the New Hampshire seacoast. Today, Dr. Dove is the happy owner and principal doctor at the Chiropractic Wellness Center in Fort Collins. He holds the highest level of NSA certification and is a certified SRI Wellness Educator. In this episode, you'll hear Dr. Simon talk about: Dr. Simon's Road to Chiropractic His experience in Mile High and then stepping up to be an MC What's changed legislatively regarding Chiropractic in Colorado The Mission and Role of the Mile High Foundation And MUCH more! Two years ago, Robert Fitzgerald Kennedy (RFK) was running for president of the United States. He graciously agreed to be the opening keynote speaker on the first night of the Mile High Weekend. Born to a political family, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is the nephew of America's 35th President, John F. Kennedy, and the son of his Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy. Both of them lost their lives to the assassin's bullet: JFK in 1963, and RFK, Sr. in the midst of his 1968 Presidential campaign. Rather than enter politics himself, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. carried on his family's legacy of public service by devoting himself to environmental causes and children's welfare. Kennedy has enjoyed legal victories in many milestone environmental battles over the past four decades in Latin America, Canada, and the United States. Kennedy is also an award-winning writer whose articles have appeared many newspapers and magazines. Among his published books are two New York Times' bestsellers: “Crimes Against Nature” (2005) and “The Real Anthony Fauci” (2021). He was born on January 17, 1954, in Washington, DC, and is the third of 11 children of the late Sen. Robert Kennedy and Ethel Kennedy, who recently celebrated her 95th birthday. He's married to Cheryl Hines, a noted actress. The couple has seven children, including Kennedy's six children from two previous marriages. RFK is a supporter of chiropractic and of changing the paradigm of health care in America, particularly when it comes to stopping the use of vaccines and other pharmaceuticals that are causing harm rather than health in this country. He withdrew from the 2024 presidential race and gave his support to his opponent. If his opponent is elected, RFK will likely be appointed as a cabinet member to oversee a transition in America to natural health for children and adults, which will include moving to chiropractic care and other safe, healthy processes. So, you're going to thoroughly enjoy this replay of his Mile High presentation, where he speaks of his vision for the health of America and his support for the Chiropractic profession. The very special guest on this episode of The Mile High Podcast is Eddie Weller, a DC from the St. Louis, Missouri, area. His practice is known as “Getting Weller!" He's been serving the Chiropractic profession both internally by training students and doctors alike and by serving over 10,000 people in a little over two decades. As you may be aware, one of the leading lights in Chiropractic has passed away. Dr. Arno Burnier has been a teacher, mentor, and friend to so many in the profession. Sadly, this kind, loving, and dynamic person is no longer with us here on the earth. And fortunately, his teachings, recordings of his presentations at Mile High and elsewhere, and his writing remain, so the impact he has made on so many remains and will for years to come. In honor of Arno, and as a gift to you, this week's very special presentation on The Mile High Podcast is the most recent podcast he did with us about a year ago, almost to the day. How likely is it that one mosquito make a difference? How can something small make a big difference? One little as a mosquito in your bedroom can make quite an impact on your night's sleep. Sometimes as a chiropractor, you'll feel like you are too small to make a difference. The truth is that a small force of instability can make a big difference! And one passionate chiropractor against the cultural story of conventional views around health makes a tremendous impact on a practice, a community, and the Chiropractic profession. Arno has been a force of instability, rocking people's perception stories around what health is. You can be a force too! There are few people in Chiropractic who can be recognized by only their first names. Arno is one of them. Dr. Arno Burnier is a renowned Doctor Of Chiropractic, an International Public Speaker on Chiropractic, Life, Health, Healing and Wellbeing. Married 35 years to his extraordinary wife Jane, he is a Father and Grandfather. Arno is a Mentor, Coach and Teacher to countless Doctors of Chiropractic and Students. Anatomy education does not end when you graduate from chiropractic school. On this episode of The Mile High Podcast, Colorado chiropractor Dr. Madhav Gramke is the very special guest. Dr. Madhav has had a deep obsessive interest with the human body since roughly age 13. It started with athletics and an amazement of the plasticity of forms. When he was in his undergraduate studies, a friend introduced Madhev to his chiropractor, and his life was forever changed. He decided that chiropractic was exactly what he was meant to do. Upon the advice of a cousin who was a naturopathic doctor, he tutored a few anatomy classes during his time in chiropractic school, simply in order to learn the material better. He agreed with his cousin in his sense that learning anatomy was important as a bodyworker, and that teaching is the best way to learn. This, again, changed his life forever. He fell in love with both anatomy and teaching, and felt it to be the most perfect complement to a chiropractic practice that he could imagine. After graduating from chiropractic school and a short term associate position, he did what was essentially a six month internship in a dissection lab in Colorado Springs. His relationship with the president of the board and the rest of the lab family became very strong, and he has been teaching workshops there ever since. He runs his own courses, aimed towards chiropractors, and also assists a number of other anatomy educators in facilitating their classes to an incredible variety of health professionals. This is in addition to running his own chiropractic practice since 2021, called Integrate Family Chiropractic. He feels extremely blessed and grateful to have this dream of a professional life and looks forward to practicing and teaching for the rest of his working life. His favorite quote is, “You can observe a lot just by watching.” - Yogi Berra On this episode you'll discover: The importance of the continued study of anatomy after chiropractic school The difference between regional anatomy and integral anatomy The differences between a cadaver program at a university, and a cadaver intensive And MUCH more! You can learn more about Dr. Gramke at integratechiro.com. Enjoy this podcast and get ready for Mile High XII in Denver, September 26th – 29th. You can obtain tickets at www.RiseUpToMileHigh.com. The very special guest on this episode of The Mile High Podcast is Dr. Jane Brewer. There are more and more home-grown heroes in the Mile High State, and it's incredible how Colorado has become a hub for Chiropractic and chiropractors dedicated to the principles. Dr. Jane is one of those. As a mountain biker and skier, Dr. Jane first got into chiropractic to address her persistent hip and back pain. As her body began to heal from the physical injuries she began to notice that other health issues dissipated as well. She no longer suffered from chronic respiratory issues that had plagued her for her entire life. Once she understood the science and philosophy of chiropractic care, it became the obvious choice for her life's work. She returned to school, 11 years after obtaining her undergraduate degree in Art, to get her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She graduated from Life University in Atlanta. While learning traditional chiropractic techniques in school, she gravitated toward Upper Cervical Chiropractic. Dr. Jane is among an elite group of fewer than 100 chiropractors in the world who holds this distinction of the highest level of training and specialization in Upper Cervical Chiropractic. She was the valedictorian of her graduating class. When she's not in the office and doesn't have her head in a research journal, she loves playing outside on her mountain bike, skis, or on her own two feet with her husband, Wes. They have two very dog-like cats, always drink good coffee, and enjoy sharing quality time with friends and family. You can find her podcast, Liberating the Upper Cervical Spine with Dr. Jane Brewer on You Tube at https://youtu.be/PspTFYkperU On this podcast, you'll hear Dr. Jane's views on: Cone B technology What people may not know about upper cervical care Where to start if you want to learn more about upper cervical spine Doing ONLY upper cervical The Mile High Weekend Event and the power of community And MUCH more!
