Host Ricky Sacks is joined by George Achillea, Connor and Ash as Tottenham announced their squad for the 2025/26 Champions League league phase. Manager Thomas Frank left out six big names for the club's latest European campaign. Spurs' 25-man squad for their return to Europe's elite club competition doesn't feature Kota Takai, Radu Dragusin, Yves Bissouma, James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski or Mathys Tel. The omission of England international Maddison, 28, comes as no surprise. The midfielder suffered a potentially season-ending knee injury in the club's pre-season friendly against Newcastle in August. Summer signing Takai is also in the treatment room with a plantar fascia injury, and his return date is currently unknown. Dragusin and Kulusevski haven't made the cut as they, like Maddison, are dealing with knee injuries. t's understood that Dragusin could be back to full fitness late next month. Sweden international Kulusevski, meanwhile, is on course to return in late November. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Richard 'Crackers' Cracknell along with actors Ricky J Norwood and TJ Ramini as Ange Postecoglou's quest to end Tottenham's trophy drought continued as victory over Manchester City booked a Carabao Cup quarter-final with Manchester United. The Spurs boss claimed recently he always wins silverware in his second season - and remained on course to fulfil his promise after an entertaining, eventful encounter. Timo Werner, who had a mixed evening, scored his first goal of the season with an emphatic finish after five minutes, before Pape Sarr doubled the home advantage 20 minutes later with a with superb low right-foot finish from 25 yards. Spurs, though, suffered a setback when they lost key defender Micky van de Ven with a hamstring injury in the 14th minute, and City setting up a tense second half when Matheus Nunes pulled one back in the fourth minute of first-half added time. City keeper Stefan Ortega kept his side in the contest with fine saves from Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevki and Richarlison, while Werner fired wide when clean through before limping off with a groin muscle injury. City, who suffered a casualty of their own when the lively Savinho was taken off on a stretcher, almost snatched a late leveller, but Yves Bissouma made a superb block on the line from Nico O'Reilly's effort. Spurs, without a trophy since their 2008 win in this competition, will be delighted to have bounced back from the weekend's disappointing Premier League loss at Crystal Palace with such a significant win. They will now host another Manchester side in United, with the game taking place in the week commencing 16 December. Host Ricky Sacks was joined by Russ Williams, Mitch Fretton and Marlon via Spurs Kings TV as Son Heung-min scored twice as Tottenham comfortably brushed aside a lacklustre Everton side to notch up their first Premier League win of the season. Tottenham peppered the Everton goal straight from kick-off and their early intensity was quickly rewarded. A stylish move on the edge of the box culminated in Dejan Kulusevski cutting inside to tee up Yves Bissouma, whose crisp shot struck the underside of the crossbar on its way into the net. Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was punished for dawdling on the ball shortly afterwards when Son stole it off the England number one and slotted into a vacant goal. Cristian Romero headed in Tottenham's third from a corner after the break when he outmuscled James Tarkowski and Michael Keane to head in James Maddison's pinpoint inswinger. Spurs skipper Son put the gloss on the result 13 minutes from time with a low angled finish through Pickford's legs after Micky van de Ven's enterprising run from one penalty box to the other. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by returning regular panellists in Jason McGovern, TJ Ramin and Marlon Via Spurs Kings as Yves Bissouma and Dane Scarlett were on target as Tottenham beat QPR in a pre-season friendly at Loftus Road. Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou again named a reasonably strong side against the Championship outfit, with new arrivals Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall amongst the notable youngsters involved from the off. The hosts had look dangerous on the break with Spurs dominating most of the ball but fell victim to a moment of Premier League class from Bissouma five minutes before half-time. The midfielder beat his marker with a drop of the shoulder before playing a one-two with Dejan Kulusevski, picking the ball up on the return and rounding goalkeeper Paul Nardi to slot into an early net. A host of changes came after the break as QPR put on the pressure but Spurs ultimately held out before Scarlett tapped in a second with his first touch. Jack and Phil pick over the bones of the weekend's footballing action, starting with Aston Villa strengthening their grip on fourth place...and despite what this means for Tottenham's Champions League hopes, it takes Arsenal further away from winning the league, and, so, the lads can't help but celebrate. Speaking of celebrations, Tottenham's Women's team is also in the FA Cup final for the first time in their history, so Wembley awaits. Finally, the pair to move onto the men's debacle at St James Park, in what is annoyingly now becoming our annual battering in Newcastle.
