#Shiraal is back this week talking about the shows and movies that were released this week. They review the horrendous suicide of 11 people of the same family in the House of Secrets: the Burari Killings.'Little Things' season 4, now streaming on Netflix, brings back the cuteness of the rom-com that has been a little different than the others. However, we are also glad that it's the final season.Little Things season 1 premiered on Dice Media's YouTube Channel in 2016 and had 15 million views within days.  Little Things came as a big breath of fresh air. It was acquired by Netflix from season 2. No governing body has so tenaciously tried to determine who counts as a woman for the purpose of sports as the I.A.A.F. and the International Olympic Committee (I.O.C.). Those two influential organizations have spent a half-century vigorously policing gender boundaries. Their rationale for decades was to catch male athletes masquerading as women, though they never once discovered an impostor. Instead, the athletes snagged in those efforts have been intersex women — scores of them. We review @Zee5's  Rashmi Rocket - the story of an athlete who is given a gender test to clear by a doctor under suspicious circumstances and made to take her clothes off for a CT. She is demeaned, media shamed and ostracized by people in the association to defame and ban her.We also Review #Sanak which is a hospital hostage drama at its Hollywood best. The only difference is that this is a Bollywood production. There is a stallonish depth to Vidyut's agility and fitness that makes him heavy lift a very predictable plot and make it his own.Listen in to us here and on anywhere else that you get your POD.

Reel life is inspired by real life. But then why is there so much discrepancy in queer representation? Butch female characters for lesbians, effeminate male characters for gays- how inaccurate is that! And why are they given stories that revolve around their 'queerness' and not around the person they are or their other traits? And why almost always do they have unhappy endings? And what are some of the best examples of representation? (btw, Schitt's Creek is a major favorite!) Aditya is a former investment banker and management consultant with a Finance degree from NYU Stern, but he left all that behind to join Pocket Aces, a digital media start-up best known for it's channels FilterCopy and Dice Media. After starting as a production intern, 3 months he was asked to take over as the Head of Video for FilterCopy. You might not have heard of Aditya himself but chances are that you must have seen many of the viral videos that he has produced on your Facebook and Youtube feeds. He has created several online popular videos, and worked with the likes of Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Ayushman Khurana and Rani Mukherjee.. Aditya’s shift from investment banking to the creative and media industry happened in a matter of 3 years. He was recently invited by Josh Talks, an Indian TedTalk equivalent to speak about career choices and how you should think about it. I watched the 12 minute video and found it to be super simple and solid advice.  Would definitely recommend watching (see link below) Aditya is also the host of India's premier Bollywood podcast Bollywood weekly where he hosts guests and discusses the latest movie releases (see link below).
